Dalton, I’m very impressed with your Seattle SuperSonics revival video. And I’m thrilled that your as passionate about bringing back the Sonics as much as I am. 👍👍 Keep up the great work!
*If you're going to do 32 teams, even out the schedule to 76 games with 4 divisions in 2 conferences: 28 games against teams in your division, 16 games against teams in the other division of the same conference, and 32 games against teams in the other conference. And, I would have the two expansion teams play against each other in the first 2 games, if in different divisions or conferences, or 4 games, if in the same division of their inaugural seasons.*
Very good video. The 1980's gold and green logo with the skyline inside of the ball is the best. No redisign needed, like the Chicago Bulls logo. The 1980's logo was perfect.
Found out today that I apparently went to a SuperSonics game when I was a few years old. Wasn’t old enough to remember them as a team but would be amazing to have them back. We’ll definitely see them as an expansion team one day
This is maybe a weird nit pick, but the visor logo you made has the view of Seattle from Kerry Park, which makes sense because the Space Needle is front and center. However, this vantage point is from a pretty tall hill, so planes not land in that direction, but if you used the view from North Lake Union (Gasworks) it would make a lot more sense because floater planes land there all the time, so that view would actually be in their visor. (Also the picture you used is at least a couple years old) I think your logos are great and clearly took a lot of thought and effort, I just wanted to give some really specific insight you may find interesting.
I would say your 90s version Sonics logo would make a great primary logo, the first one you used would be a secondary, and the Nirvana design would be a tertiary one. I do remember when the Seattle SuperSonics existed and they should totally come back. Back when I used to play NBA 2K a lot more often I had a time in 2K15 where I fooled around and created new teams which I did Seattle SuperSonics and they had this one logo you could use where it was basically a heartbeat looking sound wave inside of a circle.
Awesome video man! Hoping my childhood team returns in 2026 with the expansion! Excited to see us and Vegas in the league.. And Seattle should hire you to do this kind of thing!
It wasn't just some unfortunate thing that Clay Bennett moved the team. He always intended to move the team and Howard Shulz knew it when he sold. Every single one of Bennett's arena proposals were horrible and completely unrealistic so he could say "welp I tried" (but not really). He seriously proposed building an arena in Renton by the S curves and if you know Washington you know that specific area has some of the worst traffic congestion in the state and its like 20 miles outside of the city with barely any public transportation.
Dude in reality, the NBA will oversimplify it a lot. The primary logo is gonna be a green S wrapped around the yellow Space Needle. The secondary logo is gonna be your primary logo and the city connect logo is just something emerald related.
Dalton, you're always going up and beyond on your videos! Seeing a new one pop up in my subscription feed brings joy to my day. Keep it up! P.S. It was an inspirational ride watching NC State in March Madness and I sure you loved every minute of it too.
I’d alter the colors slightly on the logos and a couple of the jerseys, but the logos themselves go hard. Not to mention that statement jersey would be the cleanest in the nba 🔥
I respect the video, but it's pretty much a lock that Seattle gets the next NBA expansion team, along with Vegas. People who don't think this are ignorant... or Oklahomans.
This video doesn't tell the whole story of why the Sonics left Seattle - a lot of very important details are left out. If you want the whole story, watch Sonicsgate.
If the Sonics return, hope we do a redesign like the Mariners did in the 90's. And that was a necessary choice given that the old Mariners colors were blue and yellow which are shared with the Rams (euugh).
@@Sly_Maverick_31 I very much agree with that. Funny enough the yellow and blue are Brewers colors as well so a complete redesign would be a good idea.
I thought the nirvana jerseys would fit really well with the sonics and not a lot of NBA teams rock black and gold even though it’s simple overall it’s a nice city jersey and pays good homage to the band it’s self
Don't like your logos when you show them, but the jerseys are 🔥 and then the logos look good on them! But the 90s logo was so good if they come back hopefully they just use that
The Seattle SuperSonics *are* this nation’s backbone
Damn right.
Why my heat own them
I am from Seattle but let's not get carried away lol
Vegas comes in with Seattle. You should do a Vegas concept. Great video.

2:46 Actually all of the money was privately funded. The city only pay for infrastructure improvements and that it.
Bingo. The city didn't pay for it.

Also I'm SOOO down with the Costco add, Way better than Amazon!

I was mad skeptical of the Nirvana logo but that uniform went hard af 👏👏👏
I was very sad on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 when the Sonics left Seattle. After years of talk and no results, I will not believe it until I see it.
12:54 Technically, the NBA allows 5 uniforms.
1) Association (Home)
2) Icon (Away)
3) Statement (Alternates)
4) City Edition
5) Classic Uniforms (Throwbacks)
I love this video. Not only did you talk about Seattle coming back to the NBA, but gave designs too! Please do one for Vegas too! 🙏
Love the colony house shirt lol. (Also great video)

Good vid Dalton, I met shawn Kemp and gary payton way back in 1992, in 98 school field trip I met hersey hawkins.

Clay Bennett was never going to keep the team in Seattle. The goal from day one was to move to his home town.
well yeah

Thumbnail pic is peak 📈
i saw in one video that one of the Kraken's women owners said she wants to be a part of bringing the Sonics back.
I did not like the blue in the logo, but I REALLY liked it in the Statement Edition Jersey.
great video
all the news and rumors say that the NBA will expand to Seattle and Vegas once the media deal is finalized.
I like the bible verse on your whiteboard fam. Great video.
I respect the video, but it's pretty much a lock that Seattle gets the next NBA expansion team, along with Vegas.
People who don't think this are ignorant... or Oklahomans.
you should sell t-shirts with that sonics nirvana logo on it
This video doesn't tell the whole story of why the Sonics left Seattle - a lot of very important details are left out.
If you want the whole story, watch Sonicsgate.
Their colors make them the Green Bay Sonics, and as a packer fan I would not want the basketball packers hunting the deer

I’m hoping for 2025!!! Please

if this means an expansion squad in KC then...
As big as basketball is in Kansas I don’t see why not 🤷♂️
Tf you mean the last logo they used is cringe?
I say just make a new team the Emerald City Spartans or something
😥
Move the Timberwolves to Seattle please
the logo sucks dont bring the sonics back, seattle sux
The worst logo man. You can do better
Seattle won’t get a team within the next 100 years sad reality bro
You’re delusional
