    I love Charles Darwin! He opened the eyes of future Biologists to how our world works. Even though he struggled a lot with his beliefs, he was a good person and a great scientist.

    When evidence contradicts the belief.....you disregard the belief and believe in the evidence.

    Science is not the only method of obtaining logical truths. There are many things that the mechanism of finding imperial data, cannot be used in, Yet we are very sensible in believing in them. e.g. trust, love, joy, friendship, concept of past etc..

    It's true that Darwin was not the first to suggest one type of animal is descended from another type of animals; in fact Greek, Roman and Chinese philosophers had similar ideas about the changing of species centuries before Ibn Khaldun. Evolution was not a new idea by Darwin's time, Darwin's great accomplishment was the theory of natural selection and formulating a scientific argument for his theory.

    I know we didn't start from apes, I didn't say we did. I just didn't want you to reply with a huge essay if you end up explaining every step. I'm somewhat pleased with this response. However I do question your notion that 'The vast majority of mutations are always bad.' Not all mutations are bad, like better eye site. 'Natural selection is not even evolution,' - may I just say that natural selection causes evolution. I suggest you watch a video from QualiaSoup, it further elaborates.

    My fav Newton. Don't want to go in debate regarding controversy surrounding Calculus or his over powering nature or (as some claim) his black magic....
    what Newton did (in the volumes of Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica) is nonpareil, to question and answer everything happening around you, it takes lot more than a great mind.
    Newton, scientist among scientists.

  • @Duplooytim
    @Duplooytim 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    if we go from the biblical acount where after the flood there were 8 people and, we take a more reasonable growth rate of about 0.5% per annum.... (8*1.005^4000) Approx 3.69 billion. The industrial revolution has increased the growth rate(obviosly). Thus making up the extra 3.3 billion
    If we used the same growth rate on the 50000 years... then (2*1.005^50000) Thats a very large number and would have taken us way past 25 billion people, and should mean there should be trillions of human fossils.

  • @Duplooytim
    @Duplooytim 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    If we say we have been around for 50,000 years + (and lets say we start with 2 people at a very minute growth rate of about 0.0005% per annum)
    Lets do some maths
    2*(1.0005^50000) = 143 Billion people should be alive today. (for a very minute growth rate and disregarding industrial revolution.) Thus meaning for a more rational growth rate, We should have trillions and trillions of people alive today. (+ evolutionist believe up to 100,000-200,000 years) This is simply not the case!

    Yes but the planet is big enough to sustain life for more than about 25 billion people(atleast without competing for food/water). Therefore it should not have been an issue. Up until 25-30 billion people. Why then are we only at 7 billion when mathmatically it should be alot higher! I am going with the facts. Maths shows that humans werent here for more than 10,000 years.

    Can I just say, that the rate of growth is expotential. We are decendants of single celled oraganisms. People die, so the figure goes down. There are too many variables you didn't include in your calculations. Please reply back explaining how evololved from Apes to Homo Sapiens, just so I can see your understanding of the theory of evolution. Diluting your comments with numbers doesn't always work.

    "Please reply back explaining how evololved from Apes to Homo Sapiens". 1) evolution doesnt start with apes. 2) just because there is about 98% DNA symilarities in humans and chimps, doesnt mean we evolved from apes.3) according to evolutionist, we supposedly evolved from apes through natural selection and beneficial mutations. 4) when the vast majority of mutations are always bad, and so called "beneficial ones", that we know of, had side effects or didnt bring alteration in genetic information

    Thats why I despise religion. I follow Jesus and have a personal relationship with him because he's still alive today... But anyone that kills "in the name of God" are clearly deluded, totally agree... Jesus is the perfect example of how to live life. Turn the other cheeck love your nabour as yourself etc... so if everyone acted like him there will be peace on earth. But sadly everyone is selfish!

    No I am saying it because it is true and so have all those other people. When Darwin came up with his theory of evolution, the scientific community agreed, and all but the most stubborn scientists today agree with it. Almost every scientist is falling for a huge lie? What makes you think you're right and scientists are wrong? You don't belong here.
