Oh yeah the Nile river may have came right up to the front in that area before the sand shifted. Could of been all green with boats in canals etc.

We actually know that obelisks were a method of telling time and were used to cast shadows at special times of the year. Because people moved them most of this information is lost but many are still in position. Nothing except for Bagdad batteries of very low voltage and images of the so called Dendera light inscribed is some temple. With no real evidence it is a lighting device at all, just speculation. True science evaluates evidence and facts not so much the speculation. Pareidolia of the eyes and mind are a very common human condition. But the mystery will possibly last forever.
