In the clone wars series he gets a Padawan named Ahsoka Tano though she is not seen in the movies. She left the order after being said to bomb the Jedi Temple but she was innocent. She is later seen in Star Wars Rebels and is going to be in the Mandolorian.
Kylo ren is basically Darth Caedus from Legends canon. They both were children of Han and Leia, both were trained under Luke, both began idolizing their grandfather Darth Vader, and ended up falling to the dark side and becoming warlords. And they both did this around the same time period (40 ABY)

He knew all 7 lightsaber styles and used a combinaton of them. He was especally powerfull in the force, Like Kreia in KOTOR 2 says: "When I looked upon Revan its was as I was looking at the hearth of the force and when I look upon you as if I see its end" . I recommend that you play KOTOR 1, KOTOR2 and a bit of SWTOR if you want ( not necesery ) and look it on Wookiepedia :)
superdudepwn *NO SPOILERS* XD well there as you know since you finished KOTOR 1 Revan was captured by Bastila and the jedi team and erased of his memory, he was a sith and then when Malak tells you you are Revan you remember almost everything and you can decite to go dark or light, canonicly that event was ligh ( revan became good again ). I didnt really spoil KOTOR 2 for you its just one sentance so it doesnt spoil anything at all. so like i said Revan was a jedi knight and became sith and light again. KOTOR 2 is a dofferent protagonist but the story ties to kotor 1. I recommend you to play it now but with the KOTOR 2 TSLRCM ( The sith lord restored content modification) the game has more dept and adds everything that was removed from it originally. ;)

no worries! oh revan's from knights of the old republic game, but all games and books/comics that have come out since late summer i believe are all canon now. so hopefully in a few years we get awesome new characters (again)

At least in the form that the order was prior to 66, the force will never again be with the Jedi; even Mace said that the order's ability to use the force had been waning for a long time. Fortunately, Luke wasn't raised brainwashed by dogma, and was guided by Yoda and Kenobi, who were fortunately red-pilled with the help of Quigon and the Force Priestesses.

superdudepwn (IK THIS IS A BIG TEXT BUT ITS SOME OF THE STUFF ABOUT REVAN ) Revan is a male jedi with longer hair ( on the back ) He is a jedi knight and later became a master, he had a purple lighsaber and when he turned to the dark he had a purple and red, the red one was a bit shorter so it suited his combat style. He knew all 7 lightsaber styles and used a combinaton of them. He was especally powerfull in the force, Like Kreia in KOTOR 2 says: "When I looked upon Revan its was as I was looking at the hearth of the force and when I look upon you as if I see its end" . I recommend that you play KOTOR 1, KOTOR2 and a bit of SWTOR if you want ( not necesery ) and look it on Wookiepedia :)
superdudepwn *NO SPOILERS* XD well there as you know since you finished KOTOR 1 Revan was captured by Bastila and the jedi team and erased of his memory, he was a sith and then when Malak tells you you are Revan you remember almost everything and you can decite to go dark or light, canonicly that event was ligh ( revan became good again ). I didnt really spoil KOTOR 2 for you its just one sentance so it doesnt spoil anything at all. so like i said Revan was a jedi knight and became sith and light again. KOTOR 2 is a dofferent protagonist but the story ties to kotor 1. I recommend you to play it now but with the KOTOR 2 TSLRCM ( The sith lord restored content modification) the game has more dept and adds everything that was removed from it originally. ;)

***** I am aware of that, personally i enjoy some of the EU stories more than the movies too, but the people who read the expanded universe are not the only ones who saw/will see the movie,some people had never seen Star Wars and it was their introduction to the franchise, another great number of people had only seen the movies and never read the books and you have to consider all of that when you're making a movie that you know will be seen by pretty much everybody, This movie is the revival of Star Wars' cinematic side so it had to be friendly towards newcomers.This doesn't mean i don't mind the fact that they made the EU non canon, but i understand why they did it.

Both Jedi and Sith were misguided and opposed balance. At least in the form that the order was prior to 66, the force will never again be with the Jedi; even Mace said that the order's ability to use the force had been waning for a long time.
