When you started this series, I honestly never thought the busses would move from their watery grave. I am so glad you're proving me wrong!! Keep up the hard work. 💪🏼
You sir are the sketchy jack master..👍👍 Ive never seen a tandem jack attack on timber in my life man .. That worked out alot better than i was expecting..🍺🍺
You and Josh working as a team is extremely heartwarming. You have this on video so the memories will last a lifetime. You are blessed to have a son who is interested in these adventures
Your son is a credit to you dude, well done on all. The VW spirit runs deep in you, That young man is having the best childhood, massive respect sir from the UK 🫡
I think I have said this before but Josh is very observant for his age. Yes he can get distracted but he is watching and learning most of the time and doing his share of the work. I think the next trip will get the fifteen window out of there so we can celebrate.👍👍
Sat here in Plymouth, UK watching these videos. Awesome to see you getting the buses out. Great to see your lad getting stuck in aswell. He'll never forget these adventures with you.
Awesome brother ! This is exactly the way I grew up with my dad digging vintage vws up all over Europe, the happiest of days , take care of each other 👌
Great job digging that 15-window out. Good to see it's not nearly as blown out as the blue one. Ya just had to tease us at the end, didn't ya? Always keep 'em wanting more!!
Who among us doesn't want to restore the 15 window. It's like The Jewel in the Crown. After all how often do any of us come across one needing a full restoration? It's about as rare as hens teeth, right. Go you for doing the almost impossible, of getting them both out of there. The spirits thought they were there's forever, but you've changed that now! We're all rooting for you, and we're definitely all super keen to see you next dramatic rescue video!! I. Shane. G. 😊
Loving every moment of this, your tenacity knows no bounds. The frame is sounding like it has the structural consistency of a bag of potato chips, hopefully it isn't that bad! You've got a great helper there too, was that a shark he had caught at the beach?
Wow that’s a lot of fish!! Josh is growing so fast!! That was a heck of a tree to cut up! Josh missed school!! Good for him!! Time with dad!! Looking forward to the next one. Please be careful. You’re definitely working hard!!
You are so close Jason and Josh is a trooper he is a great son for sure I cannot believe someone tried to steal the emblem I cannot wait to see the next part as always best regards Andy Allen.
You've got it up where you can close the doors, and the emblem is safely in your possession, so I would call that a win, spirits and trespassers be darned! But it looks like the spirits are wreaking havoc on the Lexus, knocking over oil and pulling up the front bumper 🤦 You are making progress, and that's what counts👍
thank you Mark, 8 hour round trip drives there , 6-8 hour edits , coaching Josh's 3 baseball games & 2 practices it's been a busy couple months :)))....at least I'm not moving the shop anymore :))))))))
Salut!!!
I have a '55 dove blue kombi and a '59 15w deluxe that I dug up twenty-plus years ago in Northern California and Nevada. Pretty much the same exact buses you're extracting in your series. I understand your unending perseverance. You're making great progress. Keep at it, guys! 🙂👍🏻!
I absolutely love your channel! I grew up on the East Coast and my father would take to NH, MA, VT every summer. We always traveled in a VW van. So many memories!! Thank you so much for this!! ps. keep an eye out for the ticks!!
Back when I was your age, split windshield buses were cheap, we were digging early Fords out. Same situation, different times! Be lubing up, all hinges, lug nuts, (if any), etc. , while ya dig!,,Love,,Dubs
Thank you Paul , it wasn’t the most entertaining vid as it was just getting under it but I had to show to the process …plus I was just enjoying sometime w Josh in NH :))…didn’t have my usual eye of the tiger 🐅 :))
When I Was A Kid You Couldn't Throw A Rock Without Hitting One Of Those Things ------------- They Were Fun To Ride In ---------- Very Roomey ----------- Looks Like Mama Gets A New Ride ----------- Great Video
Looking good brother! You set out to rescue these buses and come hell or high water ( which was the issue from the beginning), lol you did it. Great to see Josh helping you. He's a fine young gentleman! He's got your gruff and his mom's good looks!
I was nervous thinking the bus was going to get vandalized again. When I saw the sneak peak at the end of the video, it reassured me you made it back and started to get it on the trailer. Can't wait to see it role on out of that place!
Great progress and great memories for you and Josh! I'm really glad he came with you. You've come a long way from the beginning. It's gonna happen. Take care of yourself.
Dang Jason, Josh is growing like a weed! I guess that's good. Now you're bringing fresh muscle to the rescue table! It's gonna be a fabulous day when that 15 window leaves on the trailer. 😊 Great job, keep it up!
The 15 window looks alot straighter and more complete/intact than the other bus of course still pretty rough but its coming home! Spirits were for once in your favour protecting that emblem, looks like some carnage in part 2 can't wait!
Jason I've really enjoyed watching this series on this most difficult recue yet, at least that I've seen. It's great when Josh is there working with big dad! Great job man!
One more very assuming video ! Great to see it getting out of that hole. Looking forward to seeing it on the trailer in the next video. Take care enjoy your weekend.
Oh the suspense !. 😮. ….. it looks like it started to finally raise from its grave. If it’s been there since 1965, that’s as long as I’ve been alive. Sounds like the frame is dust though, I think I would have made sure any unnecessary weight inside it was shovelled out, but I expect you won the prize….🎉
Hell yeah Rad Dude!! This is AWESOME!! is that a '59? Would that have had a 'bastard' 40 horse? That could be why it broke down after only a few years!! Keep up the great work dude!! you are almost there!! Can't wait to see the next episode!!!
I'm thinking the Spirit was amused that you brought Josh along and cut you some slack. Good to see him coming into his own and such a big help. Enjoy having him at your side while you can, because in a blink of an eye he'll be taller than you, with a voice like Sam Elliott and wanting to adventure out on his own. This whole adventure seemed like madness to me, but now I'm starting to think you might pull it off as long as the whims of the Spirit don't drop another tree on that bus, (or you... so watch out).
So cool Jayson, your son must be so pappy playing hookie!!! Its so cool that your getting that 15 window out, no one is the one man show that you are Jay, cant wait to see your next vid!
Me and a buddy used to drive his old 60something VW bus around jamming to Molly Hatchet way back in the early 80s,and we had a lot of fun in that van.. Wish he had kept that thing instead of turning it into a reef...
Your son will NEVER forget these times!
Josh hasn’t missed any days of school ,you are the school 👍🏻
School of life.. vw buses, fishing then a game.
Some good home schoolin
Detention time with fun 😄
The thing you will love most when you rewatch these is how Josh matures and grows as you collect these busses.
Josh is learning more about hard work than school will ever teach him. You are a great role model
When you started this series, I honestly never thought the busses would move from their watery grave. I am so glad you're proving me wrong!! Keep up the hard work. 💪🏼
thank you, I had my doubts along the journey as well lol
Josh at the 16 minute mark looking back at the house...👻thats awesome! Nice job guys!

Quality time with the boy. Nice job, J.

Heroic effort! The VW gods approve of the rescue. Otherwise, that floor jack handle would have broken that window.
Thank you , I think I got lucky and the handle hit the trim ( sticks out )
Wow that’s a lot of fish!! Josh is growing so fast!!
That was a heck of a tree to cut up!

Nice seeing you and Josh working on the bus together again without the water. 👍😎

Josh is a fantastic son! That bus Deserves to be saved and you both deserve to drive it one day! Well done to you both. I love it.
She’s a coming out, not be long now. Everyone needs a Josh
J look after yourself. You look tired. Don’t do too much. Look after you and your family. I love your passion for VWs but don’t sacrifice yourself

Really Moving it Nice Going Josh and Jason "Team Work Make's the Dream Work!!!"!!!; )
Any chance we can finally see what's in the house? Bet a wildlife camera would have picked something up around the emblem.
Hearing the inner structure crunch and bend while ya jack , is always good!, Get some real, long handled shovels. Love,,, Dubs

For the time, effort, and expense invested into rescuing those 2 vans, their parts must be worth a small fortune to make it worth while
financially I am losing so far....
Thank you I’d much rather watch this stuff than television
thank you Brendan, part 2 tomorrow and hopefully it on the trailer Saturday video at 1

You make me feel wonderfully sane 😂
Josh so positive. Front bumper wrecked and hes like "its not that bad" and laughing... lol.
I’m worn out just watching this 💪💪💪💪
RocknRoll,u2,What can I say...Luv it...
I knew the only way this job could get done was with Josh’s help.
You should make something out of that last log.
First there was 'He who stands with hid hands in his pockets' and now Odd Socks ! Got something happening there ! Kind regards Alex
Imagine someone or something trying to steal the nose badge, I mean who would do such a thing..lol 👌
Well that Bus has been untouched / vandalized for all 60 years !
Josh will remember this the rest of his life, father Son memories !!
Great video, as usual!
