As I have commented before, I don’t understand why, but I would like to add that I have never seen anyone commit to an immeasurably difficult if not impossible challenge and succeed like you do; all the while repositioning your camera(s) and keeping your on camera composure magnificently stress free for the viewer (your banter with the camera is cool). I think by limiting and or editing out your stress at the worksite for the viewer is one of your traits that keeps me tuning in. ALSO…Editing your days video throughout the wee hours is another mind boggling accomplishment. Your son is an absolute gem too, which proves in my mind your parenting skills and personality off camera, including family support must be exceptional. Congratulations.
congratulations, you overcame a stream, mud, rocks, fallen trees, rain and overall miserable conditions….perseverance and exhausting work paid off. Everyone is looking for the final chapter of the “buses in the stream” saga
The tenacity, the determination, keeps coming back to your videos. I honestly don't know this much energy would go into a find like this in the Pacific Northwest. ❤
Your determination and dedication to pulling these lost treasures out of all sorts of places never ceases to amaze me. Thanks taking the times to capture your exploits and frustrations.
I have said it before and I will say it again, you deserve a medal for grit and determination. It's a great achievement and you beat those spirits! 😊👍🥇
I just pulled a 69 westy out of the woods but NOTHING compared to this series. OVERWHELMING respect for your work, effort and the passion you put into saving these vw's while not being concerned with their value because of their condition.
Dude, you got a beautiful day, it's 98% on the trailer, you still have all your fingers, no gaping wounds (okay, the bus has them), and you have a cold beverage to enjoy and celebrate the victory. That's what I call a very good day.
Great to have it out and home. Think with all time and effort you have put into getting it so far, youll need to do something good with the bus. Full restore, Josh’s first car. Really admire your doggedness lots of folk would have given up or not even bothered trying to get the bus👏👏👏
You’ve done it 🎉 Have so enjoying watching the hard work that has gone into this, well done 👍 Please keep us updated on what happens next with this bus.
Congrats Jay, perseverence will pay off. Great to be able to watch and learn on recovery from highly difficult places. Look forward to what will become of these buses.
WoW! Your VW finds & rescues are getting more & more agricultural, It makes for great viewing watching you dig this relic out of it's muddy resting place, Kudos to you for having the brains & muscle to manhandle that bus out of there.
What a amazing 4 part? i lost track vlog a thon! only one ive seen worse was when you and Musty were just dragging home sheet panels! Thanks for all th time and effort you did to bring this to us all. Cant wait to see that earlier bus rescue! THANK YOU!
This has been one of the best series I’ve ever watched! I’m sorry to say this but watching you struggle with the jacks is very entertaining. But I’ve enjoyed watching you get the prize and I guess there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Can’t wait to see what’s up next on the push pull or drag channel with Jason as our host you know it’s going to be great. Hope you have a great week.
Came across you and your son on what I think was the first visit . It’s been a journey never thought you would get the fifteen out . Loved.cannot wait to see how you get on with restoration thanks for sharing 👍🏻
That's really some beautiful country up there thank you for sharing with us I heard those Volkswagen Vans are worth money even if they're just a pile of dust they'll make him come back to life
Pretty sure I'm not alone, with many of us hankerin' for an episode that includes a 'clean out' and a rockin' power wash of this bus while you're enjoying a favorite beverage.😉 Please, please, please.🥴(Greg truenexus)
Hi Jason. Your rescues are just amazing. 😊 as a vw guy from Norway you just don't stop impress me. Finally out, buses in the stream. Good hard work❤. Stay tune for New adventures. Can't wait. Greetings from Norway
Congrats, my friend! That was a true struggle, I have no idea how you even did it. I applaud you. The spirits fought you to no end. I can’t believe that can at the end of the video actually sprayed. 😳 You’re hair at 4:00 that was great 😂 That could be the original mileage for sure. Earlier rescue!! Yes!! Will be watching!!! Enjoy your baseball ⚾️
Absolutely love your videos Jase. Without guys like you with heaps of dedication, these amazing VW’s would be lost forever. I’m confident however that I’d be the same and literally do anything to get my hands on a splitty like that. Great work 👍🏼
YES YES, OH YES!! Now can you get it off the trailer?! Well done, Jason?! I never doubted you buddy! I can't see another rescue ever being more challenging than this one. It's all gravey from here on out..
Another great video! Thanks for takin us along. Next is an even OLDER bus?!? I love old buses. Gotta say, my '61 panel I got when I lived in Albuquerque looks 'show-room' compared to that 15 window, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I admire your tenacity doing this. It was definitely a fight of wills between you and the elements. Hopefully it was worth it in the end. Well done Sir!
Been an amazing series of video's, Really enjoyed it.. Been thinking thou, Bet on that house site. Bound to be something VW related you never found. Parts that are like gold dust these days. Just well hidden like in that barn thats fallen down.
Wow !! What an achievement 💪💪💪 I hope you do video the restoration of the 15 window. Live the teaser at the end. An early Bus rescue 😳😳😳❤️❤️❤️. Good luck !!
Congrats and thank you Jason and Josh for the " VW Buses in a Stream" series. You all gave us a Master Class on Rescuing VWs From the Clutches of Nature and Spooky Forces. You shared all your rescue secrets: Using timbers, chain saws, Kubota LA211 box blading, dangling power winch, shovels, the MVP little jack that could, the MVP little rake that could, and don't forget, the little hoes that could. And using resources at hand like logs you cut up, rusty wheels, sheets of old tin and more. The thing I like about your style is being in such captivatingly, beautiful natural environments like this New Hampshire's Autumn beauty crowned by the White Mountains. Oh, and the nut shot at (15:43).
I really feel for what you went through to get those busses out of the woods, I did something similar dragging out an old Chevy Nova some years go. Keep the great videos coming man!!!
Congratulations! It's a bittersweet ending. Hate to see the Buses in the Stream series end, but I am truly happy that you got it home. Lots of hard work and perseverance paid off. You are an inspiration. Hope you get yourself some well-deserved rest. Looking forward to the next rescue. Take care!
Im glad to see you remembered the blue door off the other bus. I kept seeing it in the background and thinking, hes going to forget that. Fair play, true to you're word you stuck it out till the end. What a brawl of a job.
Dude you should never think that the whole journey you've taken on and seeing all your hard work dedicated to your passion hasn't been good dam epic, absolute legend, love your videos so much. Well done and it's been fun and really enjoyable to watch and your determination, although yep that place is quite clearly cursed VW Ghostbuster
Yay you did it well done, you got a never give up attitude, soo positive, I can't wait to see you rebuild it and the same with the other one, I literally love watching and I'm soo excited to see the rebuild thank-you
I think Sue summed up this series perfectly when he said he was “kicking and a gouging in the mud the blood and the beer”. Congrats on a Herculean task
amazing, you are for sure a glass half full kind of guy. i used to have your energy age and injuries have slowed me down , don't stop doing what you are doing
The antique collector in me is crying. I dig under that barn and end up needing a couple semi trucks to haul all the stuff I'd want starting with that pedal tractor.
Huge congratulations! That bus is just a year younger than I am, lol. Whoever gets it will need a chassis at the least!! But it hung together enough to get home. Best wishes, my man!
Well done Jason that looked like a beautiful day and a fantastic place to just sit and poke a fire and u did it its on the trailer Sorry it broke but it's also amazing what's left of the Greman Steel after 60 areas in the mud and water I would love to see how it's used in a restoration like another comment said get Larry to do it Now I'm going to watch all the episodes again I love a story with a happy ending 🇦🇺💯
Jason your tenacity has got the prize and I have enjoyed every episode weather you can resurrect this bus I don't know I just wondered why it was abandoned in the first place anyway congratulations my friend I look forward to the next video best regards Andy Allen.
That intro brings back good times and the theme song sooo good love the part with Mustie1 haha. Huge congrats, epic journey, insane will power hope your not down too bad but its not all about money. Lovely colours and weather like walking around in a Bob Ross painting. Had a pretty stressful end to my week so really appreciate the hard work to get this episode finished.
At least you didn't loose that emblem even though it kept appearing and disappearing . The baseball through the window did the trick though. Thanks for the channel.
Just awesome work, Jase such an adventure, hands down best recovery series. I'm restoring a basket case vw at the mo...does it stack up financially? No, is it worth it? Yes it is. Keep it up dude!
Totally agree with all you say John 👍
15 windows are really soft after and I suppose he knows ppl who will restore it
Be sure to film Larry's reaction when you pull up to his garage, and you ask him to help you with the patch panels. Congratulations! You did it.
😆
It just needs a little fiberglass to get that axle back in place and it's good to go! 🤣
Your attitude is very refreshing, even when you ding yourself ! Thank you for the wonderful video!
gotta always laugh, even when things don't go your way. Thank you for the kind words , much appreciated
That scene when you drive away with the tree growing out of the roof still there - pure gold. 😂
Congrats Man. What a labour of love. You are a truly committed VW rescuer. Looking forward to your next adventure.
