this song is so emotional and its one of my favourites. b praak's voice is so powerful. in the hindi language, there are 13 vowels and 33 consonants. each of them have a distinct sound and its easy to differentiate them. hindi, in my opinion, is a sound-based language. you write what you hear and you read what you see. there are no silent letters and every letter is pronounced. every letter has one sound only. for example, in 'place' and 'cake' the letter 'c' has 2 different sounds, depending on where it is placed. in hindi you will find no such thing. the placement of the letter does not affect the sound. i loved your video

Efra, Bro - the very best of luck for your Hindi rap debut. London has a very good Punjabi music scene, I suppose - maybe a collab would be cool too. Anyways, both you and Waleska are honorary Indians now. The way you can dissect the songs and guess the storyline - I never thought any non-Indian was capable of doing that. 😂
The time signature is 4/4. The reason you are getting confused is probably due to the meter of the lyrics. Apart from the first stanza, the rest is written in 2 different style. 1. The chorus is what we call Tripadi Poyar in Bengali poetry (don't know the English or Hindi term for it), which is usually 2 segments of rhymed half-lines each in quadrameter in the first line followed by another line of quadameter. Usually in AABCCB or AABAAB rhyme scheme. So, essentially going to and fro between octameter and quadrameter. This makes it kind of uneven. 2. Rest of the song is written in 4x2 lines of quadrameter. 3. The first stanza is also in quadrameter but sung in a different manner. Entirely personal opinion; I'm not even half as qualified as either of you to comment on music.

This movie is based on 'the battle of Saragarhi' happened on 12 September 1897. Battle between Afghan Qabails vs British India and these 21 Sikhs represented the British India stood against 1000 Afghanis.
The Battle of Saragarhi was a last-stand battle fought before the Tirah Campaign between the British Raj and Afghan tribesmen.[8] On 12 September 1897, an estimated 12,000 - 24,000 Orakzai and Afridi tribesmen were seen near Gogra, at Samana Suk, and around Saragarhi, cutting off Fort Gulistan from Fort Lockhart. The Afghans attacked the outpost of Saragarhi where thousands of them swarmed and surrounded the fort, preparing to assault it.[9] Led by Havildar Ishar Singh, the 21 soldiers in the fort-all of whom were Sikhs-refused to surrender and were wiped out in a last stand. The post was recaptured two days later by another British Indian contingent.
