You guys Indians are talented. I once went to Indian wedding and the singer literally had one instrument HIS FREAKING VOICE and he rocked it, it was insane he sounded good from the beginning till the end 😢
If anybody wondering, these are the song names that Arijit sang: 9:25 - Janam Janam (from Dilwale) 16:12 - Bolna (from Kapoor and sons) 18:05 - Fitoor (from Fitoor) 25:45 - Agar tum saath ho (from Tamasha) 31:44 - Judai (from Badlapur) 33:44 - Soch na sake (from Airlift) 35:09 - Aayat (Ram Leela) ~ Shreya sang two songs (hence Mixtape) : 44:33 - Rozana and Sun raha hai na tu ~Aarman and Jonita sang 2 songs: 1:00:43 - Bol do na zara and Main Agar Kahu ~ Mame Khan (and Amit Trivedi) sang : 1:14:46 - Chaudhary ~ 1:39:50 - Bulleya (from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) (sang by Amit Mishra and Pritam)

This is probably the only channel that I found, where the people genuinely discuss so much about the music itself. Not just the singers but everything. And how it's done what's the feeling that it carries why it's done. And your discussion shows that you both are quite knowledgeable and really love music a lot. It's really great. I hope you guys keep it up. 1:14:19 That instrument is called a Sarangi and is played with the cuticle of your finger.
@@himanshu-ol7wq I would love to learn Indian, would you like to recommend me some other songs that you think it’s a better Choice ? I would really love to discover more ❤️
Indian music has evolved over a period of 5000 year's ... Indian Classic music is very rich in nature ... The modern Indi-pop music can always borrow a lot of stuff from the rich classical music and therefor these very young singer's like Arijit who have seen both the classical and western singing .... They can just blow your mind with there talent
Okay so india is known for multiple languages which are distinctly different yet similar depending on the area. Most Indian musicians are trained in classical music which is prominent with a lot of runs and belting as well as very controlled breathing. In the olden days songs were sung sitting down on the ground. Bollywood is the mainstream music and each state of India has its own authentic music that varies region to region as the language does. Music is such a huge part of our culture that almost everyone knows some basics of it. And yes shreya and Arjit was singing a medley
In India whenever we practice classical music, we usually sit down on floor, crossed leg with a common instrument called 'harmonium'. So, this is the most comfortable position for us to sing.
I was trained in India for three years in Indian classical music and everyone in the school sat crossed-legged with our backs straight and we used our hands to "pat" the rhythm on our laps while we practiced for hours. It was amazing :) I love this review.
@@miaomiao1167 they didn't bother about shreya their level is only to arijit . I hate these people because they always ignore shreya who is much more talented than arijit
It's a medley and people are clapping when he is switching to different song. But all these songs have been merged so smoothly that it became instant hit.
Rajasthani folk music is a bliss. Honestly Indian folk music in general is so amusing as most of the time instruments are handmade and from local materials. Hence so much diversity in Indian folk music!
I like to come back to this video from time to time to think about how far you guys have come in such a short time. How much you immersed yourself in our musical culture. Honestly your appreciation for our culture over the months I have been watching you has made me appreciate my own culture even more because it made me realise that Hindu culture is truly unique and different from almost any other culture out there and its music is just as unique and different. Thank you for respecting and appreciating our culture.
Shreya Ghoshal is a virtuosic vocalist in every sense of the word. Her range, modulation and dynamic control is insane. Please react to her performance of Apki narzon mein Samja at the Berkeley institute of music. She does insane runs and changes up her voice modulation quite a bit.
This music is result of over 5000 years of musical tradition that India holds to its heart. Things have changed but and electronic kind of music is also getting recognised but we still are very proud of our musical heritage.
Arijit has sung so many songs that he forgets the lyrics many times during live shows and then he improvises with the hmms and umms you were talking about . He's so flawless with it that new listeners who don't know the lyrics will never catch him.
Not only she......There are many musical legends in India Kishore Kumar, Amit Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Md Rafi, Mukesh Chand Mathur, Manna Dey, Pulapaka Susheela, Kattassery Joseph Yesudas, Mehdi Hasan, Anuradha Paudwal, Jagjit Singh, Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam , Krishnan Nair Shantakumari Chithra, Mohammad Aziz, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, Asha Bhosle, Alka Yagnik, Shankar Mahadevan, KK......................and many more
I really love their reaction to Indian music I think they are very genuine and appreciative in a way I can relate to them unlike some other foreign reactions 🥺💕
The music language is different to the Western musical language. The classical music of India was formed with a combination of many genres of music from around India which cultivated into a refined classical form thousands of years before the William the Conqueror was even born! Lol! Welcome to a haven of a rich and diverse culture and hope you dive into more of the music from South Asia :)
Shreya is just the absolute best and probably the BEST VOCALIST I've ever heard in my life and Arijit is like the best/most popular vocalist of the last decade. He's basically given vocals to some of the most ROMANTIC HINDI songs as a playback singer in Bollywood movies (cuz in out movies, the actors lip sync and these talented singers like Shreya/ Arijit actually sing the songs while the actor acts/dances)
Of course but they are actually very versatile.... You should listen english translations of their Song. You will get to know Arijit has sung romantic, sad songs, party numbers and even arabic music. He's just very talented. We as Indian's are always proud of our awesome singers.
34:02 Yes, Waleska! It was a medley. The songs have been rearranged and remixed so that they go well together and don't seem too out of place. You should check the original songs which I'm listing down below. 10:40 Janam Janam (Movie- Dilwale) 16:17 Bolna (Movie- Kapoor and Sons) 18:03 Yeh Fitoor Mera (Movie- Fitoor) 25:43 Agar Tum Saath Ho (Movie- Tamasha) 31:44 Judaai (Movie- Badlapur) 33:44 Soch Na Sake (Movie- Airlift) 35:09 Aayat (Movie- Bajirao Mastani) 1:03:20 Yes, it is a mashup of the two songs in the title. Main agar kahun (Movie- Om Shanti Om) and Bol do na zara (Movie- Azhar).
This is purely Bollywood except for the coke studio one. There is traditional music like Hindustani and Carnatic . Also there is folk style ... And there are diff language songs with diff influences:)
I assure you new listeners to Arijit’s music. If you knew the lyrics, you’d be crying. The last song, Aayat, has a line that goes, “I’ve memorised you like the Quran” 😱😭❤️ just the thought of it… one more “You’re becoming my habit” ❤️❤️ Arijit is the love song king of India.
99% of memorization of Quran is coupled with not having any understanding of the verses of Quran. So if you really understand the line, it is a pretty dumb line.
@@madhugreenleaf no. Memorizing the Quran is a testament of your faith and love towards God. You grace yourself with God's own words, spend countless nights reciting, and engrave those words in your heart. While an understanding may bring wisdom and connect your mind with the faith of your heart, it's still a beautiful thing. To compare a human being to the act of memorizing the Quran shows your dedication, your faith, honor, and love towards that person. It reminds you of a man spending sleepless nights revering his lover, mind and heart both drenched in faith. It's a beautiful metaphor. It reminds me of a dark sky, a glowing moon, and a young man alone in his room at night, thinking of his lover.
Aayat does not mean Quran... but rather Verse/ verses... A verse or verses is not confined to and unique to Quran alone... Pieces of songs have verses etc.
@@KarmHeeDharmHai Well, if we have to be such sticklers for facts, then even you are wrong. There is no concept of religion in the western sense. We have a bunch of philosophies and cultural practices that different people follow.

Armaan Malik did a collab with Eric Nam and just like you guys he is really into exploring music and is into kpop and is a hardcore Exol, Chen being his bias. I would love to see you guys interact with him if that's possible.
Watching the reaction videos to Indian music and singers made me realise again how unique my country is, how beautiful the songs and lyrics are and how great the singers are. I think I have been ignoring Indian music for a while now, I think it's time to say goodbye to Kpop and back to Indian music.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing from almost 2 years, when i realised that no pop and kpop song can't campare to my country's classical music. In pop & kpop Culture music is nothing without their dance and fashionable dresses, but here in my country, singers do not need to show their beauty and designing dresses, only their voice is so Much capable of talking peoples soul to another world.
Yes, it was a medley but the transitions were flawless !!! Arijitsingh is a classically trained singer. He can and has sung every genre except for heavy metal (He says it's too loud for him, But he can sing rock effortlessly as well).
"How did he start?" In India music training usually starts with classical music. The singer may play a harmonium or a tanpura which is accompanied by tabla for the beat. Indian classical music consists of Ragas which are time specific and has specific notes (swara). It is almost a ritual to start the practice early morning which is called Riyaz. So every single day since our childhood we do our Riyaz whether it is an amateur or an experienced singer. Basically it is a life long devotion and commitment to music .
37:10 my maan... You hit the nail right there... It is indeed different recepies of the same cuisine. The musical equalent of a cuisine in indian classical music is raaga. These guys are thoroughly trained innclassical raaga based music forvyears since childhood. Then they pickup western music and just paint it all over with their musical sense
I m very happy that the review comes from people who actually understand musical technicalities. Indian music is based around ragas(scales). Just like the 7th,9th 13th notes within the chord, Indian music also has many more microtones. Students may practice the same scale for over 5 years under a Guru focusing on breathing and repetition. Most of these singers are most probably still learning under a Guru. The run that you will hear Indian singers do can be compared to a lead guitarist, sliding between notes, showing various notes within the scale, often improvised Both Indian music and jazz are heavily improvised, you'll see these being fused a lot. Arijit is singing a Medley of songs. Influences from all over the world are absorbed. This is a music award ceremony, most audience members are musicians themselves. The instrument used in Amit Trivedi's song Chaudhary is 'Sarangi'. The second one is Kartaal, very similar to castanets. It is said that gypsies migrated from Rajasthan(where this song is from in India) to Europe between the 8th-10th centuries. Maybe the castanets evolved from the 'Kartaal'.
i actually atrted learning music and did it for 3 years but my mum didnt allow me to continue further and i couldnt say anything because i was a kid (4th std ). I wanna restart so bad but i just cant 🤧😭
Many Westerners are not familiar with Indian music because it is very complex. Nothing matches the complexity, subtleness and beauty of Indian music. Period.
Shreya has been singing since 2000 in Bollywood music industry.... And still she is maintaing the title of melody queen of India n It will continue for many years I swear !!! She is precious!!! Assets to the world ❤️❤️❤️

and yes Indians are very fond of music and almost all of us are very much into music and understand music well, we grow up listening and learning classical India music in schools and at our homes singing and music is a part of our daily life everyday hence you see that strong reaction from the crowd
Also music is entangled to our religions....then some sections of veds and the upanishads are actually consisting of poems and songs dedicated to god and humanity. Thats why they say to start the day with RAAAGS and OM hynms. 🥰🤗
Ok.... It's a kind of breathing a fresh air for us that you featured some Indian songs and singers. I am a Filipino and I loooooove Indian songs! Especially YAADON MEIN from the movie Jab Harry Met Sejal. ❤️💯
These singers are vocally trained from a very young age both Arijit and Shreya are from West Bengal in India that's where majority of the best singers musicians are from, both have appeared on TV shows, contest and musical shows since young age
Indian music and singing is one of the most intricate, detailed and complex in the world. U need 10-20 years of classical training to be good at it. Thats why indian singers are one of the most talented in the world. Their vocals and style is so unique and magical. It sounds divine. U’ll find it nowhere else. By d way, shreya Ghoshal is one of the best suprano vocalist in the world. Her voice is like silk. Absolutely divine.

The first artist (Arijit) is singing different songs of his, compiled into a single performance. Whenever he slides to a different song, crowd reacts, lighting and rhythm changes
singing resides in India from the beginning of Indian civilization even in the major religion ie Hinduism prayers are sung not read. there are eight classical dances and many folk dances same with two classical singing styles "Hindustani" and "Carnatic" and their many local version with 22 official languages love from INDIA xoxo
That’s the beauty of Indian classical music. These are some of the best singers of our country that you just witnessed. Also, the Coke studio performance was actually an example of Indian folk music.
It's not about developing.... Arjit only sings basic classical music in that concert...his scale of singing is 100 times more than that you just listen...he is legend❤️
1:19:38 most Indians sit down probably every day. People dine in on floors rather than on tables. For offering prayers, for playing, it's a part of the lifestyle more than a tradition .
You should definitely check out the singers - Kaushiki Chakraborty ( her Darbar afternoon concert ) , Sid Sriram and the Oscar - winning composer AR Rahman . Also the Coke Studio performances as all of them are very high quality music productions . I personally won't suggest Indian rap as its not that prevalent or of that top-tier here in India . Thanks for the reaction !!!!!!!
Most of the coke studio is pakistani. And I don't think Pakistanis would like them being put under the title of Indians. Mixtape would be a better recommendation. Or you'll have to specify which coke studio song you like that is Indian.
The performance by Arijit Singh is a medley of the following songs in the order : 1. Janam Janam 2. Bolna 3. Parwardigara/ Ye fitoor mera 4. Agar tum saath ho 5. Judayi/Jeeni re Jeeni 6. Soch na sake 7. Ayaat I wrote a looong comment, but I lost it in the process of writing it because I got busy making the playlist (check below) of these songs. They are all from different movies. They sound so cohesive because they were arranged to seem so in the perspective in which they are being projected in this arrangement. All of these songs seem to have roots in Hindustani Classical music (which interprets music very differently from different genres and as Efra is curious, could be the reason why they could be arranged so smoothly) , although this performance (and to an extent these songs individually)incorporates western influences. Therefore it is advisable that you listen to the original individual tracks to be able to feel the difference in these songs better (which has been deliberately diminished here) and to get a better feel and sense of music these songs represent (especially instrumentally). All lot of artists are involved in making these songs, infact the original tracks of these songs have been sung by Arijit Singh along with other singer (pls listen to the songs individually - for ease, I made the following playlist) open.spotify.com/playlist/5WJ85ODu6AMApYbkCnxrQz?si=8uueQeB9TJSrUd62jIWeSQ&dl_branch=1 I tend to visit this channel for the kpop content quite often, thank you for doing a podcast for my country's music!! 💕
So delighted to see you guys react to Indian music! There's so much heart and soul in the songs. As a person with a musical sense of a teaspoon, it was amazing to learn about music in general from your perspective. Really hope you do a part 2 to indian music someday. (and yeah haha the first artist - Arijit Singh - was singing a beautifully arranged medley of his songs and the crowd clapped every time they recognized the next song. He's done another one of those I think - mirchi awards? Would love to see yall react to that in your next one :D also most artists are trained in indian classical music which tends to be a lot more intricate and rigorous than western classical. Those kind of vocal runs are almost an Indian staple. They are used to hitting those semitones and microtones during their vocal practices with the harmonium -- which is almost like a keyboard but can reach semitones)
Yasss, they also missed A.R. Rahman. It was India otherwise I would have also said Atif Aslam. A.R.Rahman with Lata Mangeshkar and his patriotic ones, Tere Bina and also the newer ones
The music is just the version of folk music from Rajasthan, the instrument he's playing in intro is I think called Sindhi Sarangi. It looks that he's singing effortlessly, because he might have been singing since his childhood, as it's an art which is passed down in families and communities. The song he's singing is not him singing it for someone, he's singing it on a behalf of a women to her lover, the folk is like a storytelling in music form. And sitting down with crossed legs is I think a very common Indian thing, that's why he's comfortable in that position. In many asian countries people have culture of sitting down on floor while having their meals or even in general.
Well being an indian, I can confirm that if you listen to a classically trained singer, and I'm talking as in right in front you, you'll find absolutely no difference between that and the studio version. That's just the way singers are trained here. Even though classical is not my cup of tea, I have immense respect for all sorts of classical music. I have some elementary classical training, and god oh god....that is one hell of a tough and treacherous road to cross. And honestly, even the biggest singers in the west can't compare (vocally) to an average indian classical singer or pakistani or arabic classical singer with around five years of training.. As unbelievable as that might be, if we put our egos behind for a moment and try to see what's true, we'll realise it. Not trying to be negative at all.
@@SonyStudioPro lol ! So what? I do care about Shreya Ghoshal only. 😌 Today there is thousand singers in the industry but even then she is ruling like a Queen. She is not signed by any label! But see she is the most popular female singer in our country since two decades. She has a huge impact in south industry too. Singing in different languages is not a big deal but singing with 💯 perfection matters the most. Lata ji is senior. It's unfair to compare her with Shreya. They both are QUEENS and they are our nation's pride❤️
@@SonyStudioPro Singing one or two songs in a decade in a language like Lata Mangeshkar is different and singing regularly in many languages like Shreya Ghoshal is different . For example Lata Mangeshkar sang only two songs in Telugu in her entire career whereas shreya Ghoshal sang hundreds of Telugu songs. She received 4 state awards from Kerala and 2 state awards from Tamil nadu . Shreya is an indian singer whereas Lata Mangeshkar was a bollywood singer . Lata Mangeshkar was top bollywood female singer in her generation , Shreya is top indian singer among males and females in this generation .
This is what Guiness Book of Records says about Lata: Lata Mangeshkar has won several awards and honours, including the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, Padma Bhushan (1969), Padma Vibhushan (1999), Zee Cine Award for Lifetime Achievements (1999),] Dadasaheb Phalke Award (1989), Maharashtra Bhushan Award (1997),[79] NTR National Award (1999), Bharat Ratna (2001), Legion of Honour (2007), ANR National Award (2009), three National Film Awards and 15 Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards. She has also won four Filmfare Best Female Playback Awards. In 1969, she made the unusual gesture of giving up the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award in order to promote fresh talent. She was later awarded the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993 and Filmfare Special Awards in 1994 and 2004. In 1984, the State Government of Madhya Pradesh instituted the Lata Mangeshkar Award in honour of Lata Mangeshkar. The State Government of Maharashtra also instituted a Lata Mangeshkar Award in 1992. In 2009, Mangeshkar was awarded the title of Officer of the French Legion of Honour, France's highest order. In 2012, Mangeshkar was ranked number 10 in Outlook India's poll of the Greatest Indian. Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan said kambakht, kabhi besuri na hoti ("[she] is never off-key"). Dilip Kumar once commented, Lata Mangeshkar ki awaaz kudrat ki takhleek ka ek karishma hain, meaning "Lata Mangeshkar's voice is a miracle from God". Mangeshkar is also a recipient of honorary doctorates from the Sangeet Natak Akademi in 1989, Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, and Shivaji University in Kolhapur. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award was bestowed on her in 1989 by the Government of India. In 2001, in recognition of her contributions to the nation, she was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour and is only the second vocalist, after M. S. Subbulakshmi, to receive this honour. France conferred on her its highest civilian award, the Officer of the Legion of Honour, in 2007. She is the recipient of three National Film Awards, 15 Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards, four Filmfare Best Female Playback Awards, two Filmfare Special Awards, Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award and many more. In 1974, she became the first Indian to perform at the Royal Albert Hall, London. From the 1940s to the 1970s, Mangeshkar sang duets with Asha Bhosle, Suraiya, Shamshad Begum, Usha Mangeshkar, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Talat Mahmood, Manna Dey, Hemant Kumar, G.M.Durrani, and Mahendra Kapoor. In 1964, she sang "Chanda Se Hoga" with P. B. Sreenivas from Main Bhi Ladki Hoon. Mukesh died in 1976. The 1980s saw the deaths of Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar. Mangeshkar's last duets with Mohammed Rafi were during the 1980s; she continued to sing with Shabbir Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Nitin Mukesh (Mukesh's son), Manhar Udhas, Amit Kumar (Kishore Kumar's son), Mohammed Aziz, Vinod Rathod, and S.P. Balasubrahmanyam. In the 1990s, Mangeshkar began singing duets with Pankaj Udhas, Mohammed Aziz, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, and Suresh Wadkar. So you still think Shreya Goshal is better then Lata?? 😂 There is only ONE Legend and Queen of Melody and her name is Lata Mangeshkar 🌹..!
Arijit is so versatile that medley becomes one song with different genres. In india we consider Shreya Ghosal as human version of music goddess. That's how she can be described ❤️
Yes, Arijit's performance is a medley of songs....So when he starts the next song, the audience is already acquainted with it and claps for it! That's the SECRET!
We almost always sit down cross legged all 😊 Very common. It's called 'chowkdi' / chowkdi marke betha. Indian culture has so many deep things from even scientific pov Which is so great thing
In India singers(mostly) take years of traning of Indian Classical Music (different kinds).. And they usually practice everyday for hours.. that's why they are able to such difficult singing easily...
1:08:53 it's a 'Tabla' - indian percussion instrument and 1:14:49 it's a 'Sarangi' - indian string instrument . 1:21:47 - 'Dholak' - indian percussion instrument
Music is part of the culture, its the foundations of Hinduism, its literally the most detailed musical culture you will ever find anywhere, just the western music and multiply it by 100 and you will have the Indian music, its the oldest documented musical knowledge in the world and the most special part is it's unbroken for 15000 years, it's ancient culture but not lost, music was also treated as science, yoga music and everything from India is interconnected to create this culture which is called Hinduism now
Very true. Our foundational scripture, The Vedas, is compiled of four books, one of which (Samaveda) is primarily chanted in a musical form. The name itself means 'song knowledge'; music, science and philosophy are such foundational pillars in Hinduism. It's a shame most people don't know this.
western pop* multiplied by 100 is indian classical* music... western classical music theory is also very vast, complex and intricate. music is pretty much globalised and youll find almost everything in almost every style. yall need to snap out of the "indian classical is the best most difficult and intricate and vast style" ffs 💀
So I’m going to try and explain this in a very short paragraph. Singing has been a part of the south Asian/Indian culture for thousands of years and it’s always held a lot of cultural importance. This is why most Indians are very musically literate. The first 3 performances were more modern Indian music which takes influence from other cultures but the style of singing has a lot of classical techniques integrated into it. That being said, classical singing is still very popular in india and most of the top singers are also classically trained. The last video was a specific folk style with a modern twist. It would be interesting to hear you watch a much more classical singing performance and compare it to this! Ps this performance was a medley of Arijit’s songs which have been altered a little to fit more seamlessly together.
You guys don't know how freaking proud I am that you guys liked and enjoyed this so much ...looking at the recommendations I was not so sure if you would have liked it but alas everything turned out good bcz you guys enjoyed it ...I'm crying brb

Not just in the olden days, you still sit cross-legged and learn classical singing even today.
In India whenever we practice classical music, we usually sit down on floor, crossed leg with a common instrument called 'harmonium'. So, this is the most comfortable position for us to sing.
Add tabla and sitar.
@@itsu2553 yeah! Exactly
Or Tanpura
Yup once i was playing tabla in table amd chair and my guru was about to burst into flames 😬😬😬guess i pissed him
I was trained in India for three years in Indian classical music and everyone in the school sat crossed-legged with our backs straight and we used our hands to "pat" the rhythm on our laps while we practiced for hours. It was amazing :)

Yes.. In Indian music, the voice itself is trained to be used as an instrument itself.

@@madhugreenleaf that made no sense whatsoever.

Arijitsingh is a classically trained singer. He can and has sung every genre except for heavy metal (He says it's too loud for him, But he can sing rock effortlessly as well).
Arijit was born to sing. All singers sing well, but he and Armaan are next-level singers.
Very well explained
Shreya Ghoshal literally has one of a kind vocal. Her range is unmatchable!! What a remarkable singer she is!!

I wrote a looong comment, but I lost it in the process of writing it because I got busy making the playlist (check below) of these songs. All lot of artists are involved in making these songs, infact the original tracks of these songs have been sung by Arijit Singh along with other singer (pls listen to the songs individually - for ease, I made the following playlist)

Indian music have very high standards & history. Even many Hinduism scriptures passed generation to generation in songs from thousands years. 💕 🇮🇳💕

So you still think Shreya Goshal is better then Lata?? 😂 There is only ONE Legend and Queen of Melody and her name is Lata Mangeshkar 🌹..!
Indian songs are unbelievable the instrument the production is everything i love india since I was a kid I listen to indian songs I love them
Arijit is so versatile that medley becomes one song with different genres.
In india we consider Shreya Ghosal as human version of music goddess. That's how she can be described ❤️
💓💓
Yes, Arijit's performance is a medley of songs....So when he starts the next song, the audience is already acquainted with it and claps for it! That's the SECRET!
We almost always sit down cross legged all 😊 Very common. It's called 'chowkdi' / chowkdi marke betha. Indian culture has so many deep things from even scientific pov Which is so great thing
Arman malik actually have collaboration with eric nam you should check it . The song name is echo.
In India singers(mostly) take years of traning of Indian Classical Music (different kinds).. And they usually practice everyday for hours.. that's why they are able to such difficult singing easily...
So happy to see this how far you have came now
1:08:53 it's a 'Tabla' - indian percussion instrument and 1:14:49 it's a 'Sarangi' - indian string instrument . 1:21:47 - 'Dholak' - indian percussion instrument
like mostly indian woman of old genertion knows to play dholak we also have at our home
Islam also
Very well said 👏👏
@Shiva Limbu Dubey no.. but you are ❤️
So I’m going to try and explain this in a very short paragraph.
This is just the tip of an iceberg for indian music its so varied and complex
