After an explosion at the US Embassy in Hong Kong kills two customs agents investigating currency smuggling, Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and James Carter (Chris Tucker) search for the mastermind. Ricky Tan (John Lone), head of the Fu-Cang-Long Triad, sends out his minions to insure that Carter and Lee don't solve the case.

Fun fact: the scene with the chicken was completely unscripted. The woman in that stand did not even know they were filming when they got that scene, and the producers literally had to run out from behind the camera to stop her from killing the chicken
Why do people take these movies so seriously it's a comedy for you to enjoy 😂😂😂😂
And the crazy part is Jackie is in his mid-70’s and still doing his own stunts
You'd be surprised about the bamboo, it's still being used for scafolding when tall buildings are being refurbished or built; I came back from Hong Kong only two weeks ago and outside the hotel window the tall building was covered with bamboo scafolding. They're tied together by either rope or cable ties, the latter of which we saw from the scene when they were falling, they're just not strong enough to withstand severe force and weight of two grown men falling.
Honestly, in Vegas opening night, this show if they could do it repeatedly, would be a hit. Friday night, this time, staged shootout.

They wouldnt laugh at chris tucker mocking asians but would definitely laugh at the kobe scene (that scene was added to the movie after kobe died)
When they offered the part to Don Cheadle he accepted as long as he could have a fight scene with Jackie Chan. Hence, that exchange was written in.
The cool thing is Chris Tucker is singing a Michael Jackson song and he was friends with Michael.
I love Ziyi Zhang (Hu Li) in this movie. She plays a villain so well, rocks a red lipstick, and makes a great femme fatale. She was also great in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters as Dr. Ilene Chen and Ling Chen.
A worthy follow up to the first Rush Hour movie! Two interesting facts about this sequel:

Ok i don't know if i'm the only one but... Hu Li freaking gives me Azula from avatar vibes. Like just like Azula, Hu Li is a freaking psycho who is just bloodthirsty and takes pleasure in killing anyone who she hates. And man, her final moment... she just went pure insane that she was willing to kill Lee and Carter even if it meant her dying along with them too. And my goodness, the look on her desperate face when she saw that Lee and Carter were going out the window leaving her for dead, she was like also gonna cry too when she was screaming, i do wonder what she was even saying.
"That's Ricky Tan? That's a midget in a bathrobe!" 😂
Hu Li is basically Azula. I love how Chris called her a crazy-ass b*tch.😂
This is a good example of making a sequel. Very flawless.
I love Rush Hour 2 and it was great watching it with you😁🔥. Jackie Chan as Lee and Chris Tucker as Carter are an iconic and dynamic cop duo. The comedy was great and the action was amazing as Jackie Chan is just insane and a legend. Looking forward to you guys react to Rush Hour 3.
