"Damn! He ain't gonna be in Rush Hour 3!" is still the best blooper line of all time. Fun Fact: Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker became such good friends making the first film that Jackie Chan convinced Chris Tucker to do his own stunts. He was on The Tonight Show saying he has no idea how he let Jackie Chan convince him, but next thing he knows he is climbing bamboo and hanging from it, so that is all him in that scene and he buffed up as well. Also, Don Cheadle agreed to do this movie only if he got to fight Jackie Chan and speak Chinese.
The director actually wanted Chris Tucker to say "Crazy ass B!+×#" but he declined because he respected women. Btw she didnt know any English either. Salute Chris Tucker
That is Hu Li. One of the most badass movie villains ever🔥👍🏼 I love how she kicks Carter's ass for the entire movie and doesnt stop trying to kill them till the end. The scene where Lee is running on the side of the truck while Carter is being spun around is so good 😂
This is one of the best sequels out there. The first was great, but this one takes it to another level. The chemistry between Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan is outstanding and the best part about it was that it was real. They got along really well and I think that's one of the reasons this franchise was so great.
Yes, Jackie Chan does all of his own stunts! That's why he's JACKIE CHAN! When he started doing movies in America, no Hollywood insurance would cover him. So, his American movies has him using more wires & saftey nets than he would have in Hong Kong. Also, he was getting pretty old by the time his "Rush Hour" films came out. What you guys need to do is check out "Rumble in the Bronx", "Supercop", "Jackie Chan's First Strike", and "Legend of Drunken Master"! You want to talk about STUNTS?! Not even Tom Cruise is JACKIE CHAN crazy!
Someone asked him in an interview why he does all his own stunts. His response on that occasion was that when he is old and retired, he wants to be able to tell his grandkids that that was really him in those movies doing the stunts.
@@Camel-from-ArabiaWhat? 47 is wayyy too old to being doing stunts. He would get knocked out (he was once knocked out by Bruce Lee) and bloody was he a young man, at 47 doing the big stunts he's known for is out of the question.
It’s so great to see it with people who not only get the jokes but who actually laugh. So many reactors are afraid to really enjoy this film. Enjoyed your reaction!
I love Ziyi Zhang (Hu Li) in this movie. She plays a villain so well, rocks a red lipstick, and makes a great femme fatale. She was also great in Godzilla: King Of The Monsters as Dr. Ilene Chen and Ling Chen. One of my favorite comedic parts: Carter: Just tell me how the Triads gon' kill us. Lee: They will torture us for three days. Carter: I can handle that. Lee: Then they will cut off our eggrolls. Carter: Cut off our eggrolls?! Hell no!! Let's get the hell outta here!! Side note: Michael Jackson watched this movie around the time he was planning out his short film for the song "You Rock My World" and contacted Chris Tucker for a guest starring role. Chris stated in his intro during Michael's 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden in 2001 that Michael told him "I've seen your movie Rush Hour 2, you're kickin' with the wrong leg".
Took me all these years to realize "Carter's" boat, the S.S. Minnow Johnson, was a pen*s joke LMFAO never actually fully internalized that yacht's name until now 😅
This is why I love rewatching movies I have already seen, try it. You will always find something new that you didn't pick up on the first time. I've watched a movie like ten times and still find stuff like that lol.😂
This whole series just never fails.. Chris Tucker for comedy with Jackie Chan doin crazy stuff with his stunts like normal and being hilarious himself these movies do not fail!
I was able to make it to the set and see Jackie and Chris on the hospital set of Rush Hour 3, which was filmed where my mother and brother works. Those 2 are awesome! 👏
Asia & BJ you both have me 😂. Regarding the Chinese restaurant BJ "probably have chicken food & fried chicken " Thats right BJ. I know Chinese restaurants that have fried chicken wings, pizza rolls along with egg rolls & Cheese 🍔. The Chinese Restaurant even sells fried plantains to cater to Latino customers 😊
My dad's favorite movie! One of them! Love these buddy comedies. Love to you both from my mom and I in So. Cal USA :) Love the lines "I like my chicken sliced alright? I like them dead and deep fried ever heard of popeye's?" Lol :) And "I can't believe I flew 10,000 miles for this shit." My dad knew every word! Love the fight scenes. :) Love to all reading this from wherever you are tuning in from.
The guy who ran from Lee & Carter is Ernie Reyes jr he was in THE LAST DRAGON, RED SONJA, 1990 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, SURF NINJAS, THE RUNDOWN, 1991 TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2 & the host of the tv show THE FINAL FU
In Asia cinema theres no insurance, no wires, no padding, and they actually took the hits not faked them. Jackie Chan was from a stunt "school" and they literally got beaten up and broken while filming. They didnt fake things and most of the time they only got one take to film the most dangerous things, like Michelle Yeoh jumping a motorcycle on a moving train. She didnt even know how to drive one and still pulled it off. Jackie cracked his skull filming once. One of his favorite stories is getting knocked out by Bruce Lee filming. American films wouldnt let him do any of that.
During martial arts movies your allowed to make contact with the body, not the face. The body shots are hit with very limited power as to not cause injury but make the shots look real.
I just started watching the Rush Hour movies again this week, and seeing your reactions to these movies is a blast. I especially love that your guys also reacted to the bloopers. Not gonna lie, when I saw your reaction to the first movie, I was really hoping you didn't cut out your reaction to the bloopers, cause they're so much fun to watch. The Rush Hour movies were the first movies I ever saw Jackie Chan in as well as Chris Tucker. There's a few funny moments from the bonus features on the DVD that I want to mention. The first one is after Carter fights that girl, the line that Chris Tucker says in the movie, he originally didn't want to say that line, so they did several takes with different lines, but director Bret Ranter was satisfied with any of them, so he told Chris to say the line, and after he said it, you could hear Bret Ranter yell yes as he was finally happy that Chris said the line. And the other one is where that same girl comes back with the bomb, and they did so many takes where she tried to scare Jackie and Chris, that Bret Ranter actually fell asleep while they did all those takes, and Jackie Chan even tried to wake him up. And fun fact about the actress that played that girl that Carter fights toward the end, she would later go on to be in Godzilla King of the Monsters in 2019.
Jackie Chan is amazing! The fight scenes are so amazing and fast because Jackie Chan has his own stunt team that he uses for all his movies so they are used to working with each other and have the trust to full on fight each other. :)
Another classic movie i would have to watch part 3 to give my pick but for the time being im more with part 1 Rumble in the Bronx Out takes (1995) with jackie chan before he was blockbuster -check yall been a kid before Rikki-Tikki-Tavi (1975) Bring yourselves back fr fr
LET’S GO!!! I remember seeing this in theaters, it’s an instant classic! Enjoy 🤘🏽 And if you like Jackie Chan’s unique fighting style then I recommend watching some of his other films like Shanghai Noon, Rumble in the Bronx, and Drunken Master II.
Put on a Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker and I am THERE! In Hollywood movie he does some of the stunts except for the real dangerous ones BUT back in the days in Hong Kong he got his own teams and coordinated and does ALL of his own stunts! The man so daring that insurance done blacklisted his name 😂 he a true dare devilI. U guys should watch some of the outtakes of his old HK movies. He always got like the "stunts bloopers" of his movies. Best one I remember at top of my head is "Project A" and "Police Story"...he not even human I swear! Maybe u could do reaction to just the bloopers or reaction to one of those movies i mentioned? Whatever I'm love u both regardless❤
Somebody already mentioned it, but I wanna emphasize that Jackie Chan does ALL his own stunts. The difference between his work in Hong Kong vs. America is that he wasn't allowed to do the stunts without proper safety precautions. I don't remember which movie it was, but if you thought Jackie hanging from the ceiling in Rush Hour was epic, the man literally jumped out of a building and slid down its side in one of his earlier movies lol
9x's outta' 10, it's "almost always", Jackie Chan doin' his own stunts. If not "all" Jackie. His body has taken a toll and paid the price. Many, many, many times over.
2:37... uuuh, WROOOOOOONG!!^^ He did all his stunts, AAAAAALL. It's just they wouldn't let him do certain things without "safety" equipment or, "support" (e.g. incase he falls...) \O>
When you're done with these you need to watch Jackie and Owen Wilson in Shanghai noon and Shanghai knights. You'll laugh like crazy with those also. Bloopers are fantastic
Everyone now knows Don Cheadle in the MCU as War Machine staring in Iron Man 2, Captain America Civil War, The Avengers Infinity War, The Avengers Endgame, etc.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. 1 & 2 are the best. I wouldn't recommend 3. To date I've seen it maybe like twice. Wasn't funny or memorable like the first two.
If watched an interview fairly recently where they said Chris went and worked out with Jackie and learned some Karate moves prior to filming so they could do the scenes where they fight a group at the massage parlor. Chris said he was getting ripped for the movie. I can just imagine those workouts. Id bet the ab workout was laughing their butts off.

Jackie Chan started as a stuntman working with Bruce Lee.
Uh oh, Asia's about to beat you up for asking "is that the menu?" 🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I THOUGHT HE WAS DONE FOR WHEN HE SAID, "THAT WAS NICE AND SOFT," TOO🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seeing Zhang Ziyi in movies from that time makes me fall for her all over again. Talented, enchanting, and sadly underused in this one.

Rush Hour 2 is from 2001, so he was 47.
That's not pretty old.
Hes old guy now, in 2024 he will be celebrate his 70 birthday
don't forget Armor of the Gods/Operation Condor

I thought he was referencing Gilligan's Island, but making it Black.
@@nicholasholloway8743ye the ss minnow is the yacht out of Gilligans Island and Johnson is another word for 🍆 . That was the whole joke 😂
I always thought "Johnson" was a call back to Elizabeth Peña's character (Johnson from LAPD bomb squad) from the first Rush Hour.
Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan work so well in these Rush hours. Action comedy😂❤🎉
The Rush Hour series is one of my favorite comedies! Happy that you guys are continuing them!
GOTTA watch Shanghai Noon and then Shanghai Knights--Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson
This movies are just medicine for the souls
When Chris Tucker does the Michael Jackson bit in the Triads bar, I lose it every time ✋️😆🤚
He fricken kills it too lol

Better watch those comments BJ, you caught Asia’s attention a couple of times. lol great reaction. Laughter is good for the soul
Asia, Jackie Chan does ALL of his stunts. Man broke every bone in his body during his career
Don Cheadle was in all of the Avengers/Captain America/Ironman movies!! As well as the Oceans 11,12,13 movies. 😉👍
He wasn't in CAP 1, CAP: Winter Soldier, or Iron Man 1. His character (Col Rhodey)was in Iron Man 1, but it was a different actor, Terrence Howard.

Rumble in the Bronx and Drunken Master are two Jackie Chan classics!
"The Tuxedo" is another great Jackie Chan movie.
Gotta do Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights. Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson. As good or better than the Rush Hour films.
PLEASE watch Shanghai noon!!!!!!!! It’s a western comedy starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson.
