I had it on my paladin in vanilla. The 2 top guilds on the server basically killed each other off trying to snipe tanks for 4 horsemen. All the warriors said f-k it and quit to wait for BC so a bear buddy and I built a raid team from the ashes and started progression over. We cleared MC, BWL, ZG and AQ20 before BC started. I got Garr’s binding the 1st week but Geddon didn’t cough his up for 3 months lol. I loved Naxx even though I never cleared it. It got me Thunderfury lol.
Little change : He says the elemental flux is 3g, it's 15g each, so 450g of elemental flux rip

The "Curse" guild was the one that did the Thunderfury with the DKP system. Actually there were 2 tanks, and both had their TF at the time the AQ 40 was ready to open on the realm.

The hardest fight in classic wow is beating the shit out of the barrens once you hit level 25 as horde because it has so much land when I had no movement

There are more than cans and classic then you would see in vanilla vanilla didn't even have Moon Ken until their talent revamps in like 1.9
My dad was the main tank in his guild, and they gave thunderfury to a rogue

I'm not sure whether one would call it lucky or unlucky, but it took me 4 years of farming Garr for him to finally drop his half of the bindings.
farmed those bar in legion freaking took ages -.- mining 12h to get all those gems ...

Before it was patched, mages could use Thunderfury. My friend has one on his mage.

Damn I was lucky back then when I pretty much was gifted both sulfuras and thunderfury my guild were basically my uncle and his friends and they needed a warrior tank.. They made me play wow and groomed me to be a tank and by the time I started to gear up and getting my first tier 1 and tier 2 items we had enough luck for the 3 legendaries to drop within 6 weeks from there I just got gifted all the materials and gold and within 2 more weeks I had 2 legendary weapons

Starts with a book in DM. Then you let Onxia breath no it when she is in 2nd phase. Then after she is dead you pick it up while it's still hot and stab into her dead flesh. Go back to DM get your blade.
id say golemag atleast on my p server where the raids are 10-25 man scaled, is the hardest

While i love MadSeason there are a few factually incorrect points in his video.
1. Arcane Crystals, not Arcanite crystals.
2. Arcanite transmutation was once every TWO days, not once every day.

I was held back from making my thunderfury in vanilla. One I was the only one farming everyone else was pvping during off nights and I had to give away mats to another tank that got thunderfury. He didn’t farm any mats cuz he also wanted to be rank 14 in pvp

Isn't the Ashkandi Blade or Kalimdor's Revenge a great epic that can compete with legendaries like Sulfuras?
Well its a 2h from BWL, TF is a tank weapon, so it's hard to compare them.
@@vincebernau127 TF is not just for tanks though fury warriors and rogues can make great use of it
@@plummet3860 it is primarily for tanks, good luck getting it before all your tanks in the guild have it. Also the commentator tried to compare a 2h (Ashkandi) with a 1h, that's simply a bad comparison.
Of course also dps CAN use it.
Played from vanilla release through lich king. So dumb to pass on windseeker bindings several times. I wanted other things because we did have the dkp system. I ended up with my full teir 1 and 2 but was more infamous for my pvp skills on illidan. The best of the best made videos of maybe getting a final blow on me in battlegrounds. I took on many private duels interchanging my pvp gear and pve dps gear only to hear excuses as "i forgot blood rage"

thunderfury is mainly used for aoe tanking in normal dungeons. Other than that it does not have a huge benefit over rogue in raid. So it's a huntard weapon!!!!!!.

Didn’t you not even really play vanilla?
@Flatulence The Unending well at this point in the patch, MC had been nerfed and player talents and abilities were fixed which made a lot of them better. Towards the end many things were nerfed and made better. I'm not saying that made them easy mode but it for sure was a lot easier than the beginning.

Thunderfury is also a drop in Diablo 3 but it's not nearly as good or useful as it is in WoW. More of an iconic item, even for lightning builds there are two other weapons that are significantly better than Thunderfury, shame really.

The lightning swords in Mu don’t really look like thunder fury.
