I mean i remember it being loads of Wpvp in Tbc. Sure flying is one factor but i think how the quests system is build today and how content works, it all contributes

Flying didn't ruin world pvp, because it was already ruined really before TBC even released. I'm speaking as someone who started playing on like the day after thanksgiving 2004. Maraudon wasn't even out yet when I started playing, but it was by the time I hit 60. What ruined world pvp was the introduction of battlegrounds. That was the first hit. I still remember my feelings about it as if it happened yesterday. Pretty much overnight, the amount of people you'd come across pvping out in the world got cut in half. The TM vs Southshore battles weren't nearly as prevalent as they were before, although you'd still get them once in a while because it was prior to the introduction of battle masters and being able to queue for BGs from your main city. Alliance and Horde still had to venture out into Hillsbrad if they wanted to queue for AV to get their epic weapons like TUF, Lobotomizer, etc.... so you'd still see those skirmishes happening every so often. The next major hits came from battle masters like I said and then finally cross-realm bgs. Nobody wanted to take part in world pvp because there was very little incentive to do it. Ganking still existed but not the actual large battles. Why world pvp when you're not rewarded to do so, but you get rewards AND more honor gain in instanced pvp? It's still fun to get into skirmishes when you're bored but that's about it really.
That's just the way it is. Flying put an extra nail in the coffin, but the coffin was already closed by that point. After BGs came out, the only semblance of world pvp you'd see was raid vs raid pvp in blackrock mountain on reset night. A lot of guilds started their raids right around that 8PM CST time-frame... so of course when everyone showed up in blackrock mountain, it'd usually kick off because a rogue ganked the opposing raids warlock or something(summons took a lot longer), or a priest MC'd someone over the cliff into the lava. Something like that. Back before there were actual good rewards from pvp, you found world pvp everywhere. In pretty much every high level zone. I'm not saying BGs made the game worse or anything like that, I'm speaking solely about the world pvp aspect of vanilla WoW.
PS: Have fun leveling engineering without mining if you're NOT Asmongold. Raid repairs are much more of an inconvenience in classic compared to retail, and you won't have the entire server trading you gold in exchange for being on stream lol, so just "buying the mats" is gonna be horribly expensive and that is gold that should be going towards your epic mount at 60. Fuck. That. The mats to make thistle tea aren't really expensive, so most rogues I knew(and myself) went Mining and Goblin Engineering instead. Besides, I'm fairly certain that Thistle Tea was nerfed DURING Classic. It may have even been on patch 1.12. Instead of restoring 100 energy, it restored 60 energy at level 60. This brought it in line with Renataki's Charm of Trickery from ZG, which serves the same purpose and also shares a CD with Thistle Tea so you can't use them both. You may have been able to prior to patch 1.12, but since Classic is utilizing that patch I expect them to share a CD. My memory is fuzzy on this area, I had the trinket on my rogue though...and I just don't remember being able to use them both. You didn't need to with 120 energy(vigor+5pc T1 bonus). Most rogues in classic are just going to buy their teas and then get the trinket once Blizzard introduces ZG into classic. Engineering will be infinitely more useful than alchemy for a rogue unless you're just trying to make bank on that character.
TL;DR bgs ruined wpvp because they offered a better means of reward and platform to do battle. WAH WAH CRY MOAR... People would've gotten bored of PvP if that was the only means to do battle.

Asmongold is used to people trading him gold all the time in Retail and he thinks the same is going to happen in Classic. I think he's in for a surprise there. Gold is easy to get in Retail, but it's hard earned in Classic. Not nearly so many people will be handing over gold just for a pat on the head.
Watch his beta streams, it's literally the same thing but downgraded lol
He got handed more gold in the beta than most players will accumulate in a year. Yeah the beta was going to get wiped but people still grinded 100g at level 30 and just gave it to him a week into the launch. It won't be any different when it's officially out.
This is only true to an extent. Once people are settled in gold can be pretty easy to come by.
good thing about enchanting to de farmed gear is you dont need to level it you can disenchant everything at level 1 enchanting

If Pally going ret was similar to priest going shadow in that they cant heal and bubble then yes they should get a huge dps buff. Maybe require paladins to carry a book in their offhand to cast spells

i believe all pets will be normalized in attack speed with the release build so broken tooth wont matter, cause it will be post nerf beast mastery.
12:15 im legit surprised (correct me if im wrong) he havnt played mtg arena since it launched especially the return AGAIN to ravnica cards going on. but to be frank if he can show the entire collection most ppl can give the exact value of each cards. plus not all of them will be worth dollars. depending on time span and which he used most will be in the cents with some at few bucks. if have iconic known ones like doubling season thats a $60 or around $100 for a foil version today. i know this by memory since i own one for my rys the redeemed commander deck and its a must have with the deck focusing on token army multiplying. and this was before they reprinted it in battlebond last year but even then its still around the same price regardless which version you have. its a big important card and in demand for green token army decks.
also see some older cards before the mirrodin (about 2003) set by the card border design so wonder if he played that long or got those by trading. knowing his personality and class in wow he would be a boros player (red and white mana) on charging in and strike hard or naya if he can handle the 3 colors (red/white/green mana) maintenance when playing cards and having the mana for them.

What a load of shit. Tbc flasks could be the difference between a boss going enrage and tanks dieing in progression. I know personally from getting sick of a guild without them constantly wiping on curator so I bought the full raid flasks and they killed it first try without doing anything different. It's the same as world buffs
asmongold does dmg contests, what about 2 groups, 1 dmges and 1 heals the turnip, a dmg vs healers contest?
While I love the idea, i think the healers would win most of the time. I think it was one of the old developers who said in bfa you have cata health, while doing wrath damage. At least that was how it was pre-8.2, now it feels more like early mop/late cata, I digress into saying that 40 healers could easily out heal 40 dps.

I have to admit, I really do like Retribution as a whole. But I am not a fan of the whole oppressive stereotyping you have to follow in Classic. I think this is hurtful to the game's spice variety. I like that each class has something to bring and I think that freedom to play whatever you want without looking like some sort of leper would be most healthy.
Seems like that's the mentality of a majority of the people I'm seeing posting on various sites/forums. Only the most hardcore raiding guilds will be worried about min/maxing and bringing the perfect classes to every raid. Everyone else is saying play whatever you want, every class brings something.
