I like the very back of the patio at hungry bear restaurant. It is not crowded and has a nice view of the rivers of america plus the ducks swim by. Absolutely peaceful
You missed my favorite rest area. Pizza Planet. It’s inside, air conditioned, tons of seating, water fountain with ice, and dimly lit. Can be a touch quieter than outside too!
So I am an old guy..69 and quite place to rest are important to me. I found this one on Tom Sawyers Island so sweet..then some Vlogger...Chris something or other..and he starts yelling at the CM on the Mark Twain....I was almost asleep...geez...lol Chris..Sorry just had to give you a bit of a hard time.... I knew them all and the one by Pooh Corner is awesome but they need to put a bench or two there permanently..I get disapointed when it is gone. Thank you again Mr Amazing Chris..Amanda and Miles Provost..love you guys!
If you’re the parent of an autistic kid, like I am, then look into Disability Access Services. Took my autistic son to Disneyland in April and it made a huge difference!
Today I learned that if you're in a canoe and it flips over in water... you can safely wear it on your head... because it's capsized. There was a big sale on canoe paddles at the store today... It was quite an oar deal.
It might be cheating with the title but my favorite rest spot is the lobby of the GrandCalifornian Hotel, the atmosphere is as amazing as the piano playing.
Chris being all sHaDy today! LOL! Waterfall next to Pooh looks sssssoooooooooooo tranquil. Disneyland is just cRaMMed with these areas. This park is soooooooooo charming!
The railroad IS such a great place to rest! We have done several full circle tours around before getting off and you have so many options of where to get off.
As someone who’s Visiting Disneyland and DCA in March 2024 all the way from London, England, it’s good to know about these spots. I have anxiety and sometimes it’s nice just to escape the crowds for a moment to calm down
Never knew the #1 rest area existed…? WHAT? The wife and I absolutely love your content! Always informative and your messages of telling folks they are great is wonderful. Just remember you and your family are wonderful too! The time you, your wife, and Miles spent showing us the hidden gecko was truly kind. I appreciated you taking the time…Keep up the great work.
I would like to nominate my favorite quiet spot: The Frontierland Shipping Dock (just north of the Mark Twain & Columbia terminal). Umbrellas, tables, chairs and a nice view of the river. A great place to eat your corndog. Be sure to check out the shipping labels on the crates stacked about. This is only crowded when Fantasmic is showing. What is the difference between a teacher and a locomotive engineer? The teacher trains the mind, the engineer minds the train.
Chris are considering doing a similar video for the DCA side? I feel like there may be fewer R and R spots over there, however I may be wrong. Thanks again!
You got that right man sometimes I need to take a break from people or you know need somewhere quiet to go or take a break at. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense. But other than that I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy week and I hope you had a happy weekend and I hope you had a good time on your trip and I hope you have a good time on your next trip.
That is one of the things I love about Disneyland. There are lots of places where you can relax. One of my favorites is right beside City Hall just inside the burm.
Back when Galaxy edge was still being built and they had the river blocked off, they had the ship at the dock and jj had tables set up, it was a nice and quiet place to sit and relax
Thank you so much for this information! My family often gets overwhelmed at the park with the crowds and I will for sure be using some of these locations to take a break and have a snack with them. The old boat dock is amazing and so is the one where the bread bowls are served.
The #4 spot is my favorite! It's not that crowded; you are in the middle of everything; and the water and shade helps to keep you cool. Love this location! Another great spot to rest is in the Tiki Tiki Room. The AC and delicious treats revive your feet and you sole (see what I did there Chris?)! Another great video!
We love the train! 🚂 My daughter and I have gone to only ride the train around a few times with some snacks, just to enjoy the time together, the view of Disneyland and to people watch! We agree with you, a very relaxing things to do! ❤
One area my wife likes to rest at is the dining area by alien pizza planet. If you go towards the back as you enter space mountain line, there’s usually not a lot of people there. It’s will be on your left as you’re walking up to space mountain. It’s shaded and air conditioned I believe. Not a lot to look at back there except for people heading up to space mountain.
Hey Chris, I did love these. Fowler’ s Landing is great but sometimes hard to find a table there. On the other hand, my go to is all the way back on the Hungry Bear patio. The lower level is nice but I love he breeze up on the top deck. Great view of the ducks, Mark Twain, etc. If I’m ever out there with my iPad making notes, that’s my all time fave!
I agree Fowler's Landing is the number 1 best spot ever. However, Splash Mountain is closing for refurbishment, and Fowler's Landing pathway may likely be closed during that time. So, the rest area and pathway may be closed with Splash Mountain. Mainly because it's over the drop zone for it and has views that they now dont want you to see of the construction. So, Hungry Bear lower area is good as a hot substitute.
@@Raylene3003 For me, it’s just about unused capacity and visibility. Fowler’ s is very visible and low capacity. Hungry Bear more often than not is a little more beyond visual line of sight and has much more capacity relative to the general guest usage.
I am super excited because me and my wife will be there in September for our 15 year anniversary. Can't wait to be back in Disney again. Thank you for always showing us everything
Thank you for the awesome tips 👍🏻 So helpful even if parents are visiting Disneyland without their kids. I will also say, we probably won't ever get tired of your encouragement in these videos. Thank you so much! 🎉 You TOO matter. You and your family are precious 💕
Love the channel. May not be a secret but the first aid station behind the red wagon was a great spot when my boys were little. Water refills a/c and restroom. And the nurses are gold.
Oh my goodness! Can’t thank you enough for content that either specifically or indirectly describes how people with a variety of abilities can enjoy the park! ❤
This is your best video yet! As the countdown winded down, I was getting worried that you were going to reveal the actual #1 best resting spot @ Disneyland. Thank you for keeping that a secret. You're awesome!
Your channel has been my go to for almost a year now. I couldn't believe I found a channel that helps stabilize and satisfy my desire to go to Disneyland as often as I wish I could; while relating to your guys' love and appreciation for the Happiest Place On Earth. Thank you guys!
Disneyland Railroad naps are the BEST! I am a person that has to chill throughout the day if I wanna open and close the parks so this video is right up my alley! There is a little cove with tables under the old people mover launch spot. It's really nice cause it can't get super full of people. #1 is where I recorded my Instagram reels of the reactions of people coming off Splash Mountain the weekend before it closed! I love that spot so much. That churro joke Chris... that's top notch!!!
I never knew about any of these rest spots in Disneyland and I just learned something new today. This information from PPP is so helpful for me on my Disneyland vacations. It was really awesome to see the entire Provost family in today's video, you guys bring endless amounts of tears and joy to my life. I can't thank you guys enough for giving me my daily dose of Disney. One thing I've noticed is that the camera gets blurry when seeing from far away distances. I would invest in getting a gimbal as they will make the camera angles more smoother. Love you to pieces PPP!!
These are my top rest areas, too! Lots of quiet little nooks in Galaxy's Edge, too. I love Tom Sawyer's Island when we need a sensory break because the overload of sounds, sights, and crowds is mostly gone there. So great!
You've hit all my 3.5yo granddaughters & I favorite spots(almost). Yesterday's 52nd visit for us was in DCA, which also has a number of good spots! Thanks for an amazing YT channel!!
I got arrested last time I went to Disneyland just like that poor kid. I bought a pretzel and then got a fuel rod immediately after, I was charged with a salt and battery.
Enchanted Tiki Room is a great rest area, and it's air conditioned
I like the very back of the patio at hungry bear restaurant. It is not crowded and has a nice view of the rivers of america plus the ducks swim by. Absolutely peaceful
You Chris Provost are the Mr. Rogers of a new generation.
Right, he is,😂 lol
Thank you everyone for watching!!
You missed my favorite rest area. Pizza Planet. It’s inside, air conditioned, tons of seating, water fountain with ice, and dimly lit. Can be a touch quieter than outside too!

This will be awesome to take my Autistic son for a few minutes. Thank You
If you’re the parent of an autistic kid, like I am, then look into Disability Access Services. Took my autistic son to Disneyland in April and it made a huge difference!
I know you and your son will have an awesome time
Thanks for sharing!
You bet. 💙💚
I agree! It will always be Tom Sawyers to me!!!!!
I too will always call the island Tom Sawyer Island. When I was younger, you could climb up on the fort.
I loved the Churro joke… made me smile😀
My daughter and I ate a strawberry cookie and Tigger Tail per your recommendation in that corner besides Pooh Corner on our last trip! It was so good!
😅, you came SO close to showing our favorite place to nap. Glad it will remain a secret. Wont have to fight any grannies over it! Lol
Today I learned that if you're in a canoe and it flips over in water... you can safely wear it on your head... because it's capsized.
There was a big sale on canoe paddles at the store today... It was quite an oar deal.
inside the theater on main street is my favorite rest area. air conditioned and benches
Both as a kid and as an adult, I have been guilty of resisting a rest.
Everyone loves Roberto!!!
Love all the dad jokes and glad you remembered the boats I used to love them as a kid.
I love riding the train to relax. It’s exactly what I did after hurting myself on the Matterhorn.
It might be cheating with the title but my favorite rest spot is the lobby of the GrandCalifornian Hotel, the atmosphere is as amazing as the piano playing.
When I saw the title I thought: Fantasia Gardens watching the monorails. I'm glad that was in your video. I still call it Tom Sawyer Island too.
Ahhh! So cool seeing my uncle Roberto in the vids.
When I went to Disneyland last week me and my friends went on the canoes and we had to wait in line 15 minutes because there was such a long line
Chris being all sHaDy today! LOL! Waterfall next to Pooh looks sssssoooooooooooo tranquil. Disneyland is just cRaMMed with these areas. This park is soooooooooo charming!
I love your walk around with ambient sounds a the park. It lets me feel like I am there.
Haven’t been to Tom’s island since I was a kid. I am definitely going next month.
Be sure to go in dead man's grotto. It's the best.
The railroad IS such a great place to rest! We have done several full circle tours around before getting off and you have so many options of where to get off.
Planning a trip in July, will be fast so great to have places to chill. Love the dad jokes.
Hay chris why do fish live in salt water? Because pepper water would make them sneeze!
As someone who’s Visiting Disneyland and DCA in March 2024 all the way from London, England, it’s good to know about these spots. I have anxiety and sometimes it’s nice just to escape the crowds for a moment to calm down
I had no idea some of these existed and I come here all the time 😊
Your messages of encouragement are always appreciated. And we appreciate you.
I like the Lincoln presentation to rest hahaha
Excellent, excellent video. I requested a video like this, and boom, I got it! Thanks!
I had a feeling when you went to Pooh's corner, you'd get a Tigger Tail 😉🧡
Never knew the #1 rest area existed…? WHAT? The wife and I absolutely love your content! Always informative and your messages of telling folks they are great is wonderful. Just remember you and your family are wonderful too! The time you, your wife, and Miles spent showing us the hidden gecko was truly kind. I appreciated you taking the time…Keep up the great work.
Tentacles! 🤣 that one got me.
I was just thinking about your other video
about places to rest. Thanks for this one.
I love your puns. 😁🤣
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💕💕🤣
Chris, you should do the samething but at Disney California adventure.
You are awesome, funny (don't stop those wonderful jokes), informative, real. We watch every video! ❤❤❤
Omg I remember when you guys were pushing Miles around in a stroller!
I would like to nominate my favorite quiet spot: The Frontierland Shipping Dock (just north of the Mark Twain & Columbia terminal). Umbrellas, tables, chairs and a nice view of the river. It was great to see you when I was with my client Bennett and the electric wheel chair. Hope you have a great day definitely made our trip
It was my pleasure. 💙💚
The train was always my favorite resting place
As always, this is some E Ticket info! Thanks
I needed this video last June around 3pm after rope dropping.
It was such a pleasure meeting you Friday!! 😊😊 me and my husband met you right by Muarices Treats. You were so so nice! Thank you for all you do! 😊
you got me rolling with the churros joke lol.
Chris are considering doing a similar video for the DCA side? I feel like there may be fewer R and R spots over there, however I may be wrong. Thanks again!
Thank you! as a Papa bringing my kids and grandkids down this year, I will use those spots!
You missed the raised deck area just north of the Mark Twain. Very few people go there and it's a great place to sit and watch the fireworks.
Best place to relax the Canoes 😆
Okay, now for resting places at DCA!
My husband and I enjoyed resting while riding the train for about 20 minutes 😅. It’s really the best resting spot, and enjoyable!
You got that right man sometimes I need to take a break from people or you know need somewhere quiet to go or take a break at. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense. I need to know what lipstick Amanda is wearing! It’s so pretty!
Thanks for these quiet spaces to take a break. I will definitely visit some of them when I’m there in 10 days!!!!!
During a big day - I love to take a nap! Those super secret spots are the best
We love the train! 🚂 My daughter and I have gone to only ride the train around a few times with some snacks, just to enjoy the time together, the view of Disneyland and to people watch! We agree with you, a very relaxing things to do! ❤

How about Launch Bay? It’s nice and dark and the air conditioning rocks on a hot day. I like to take naps on the benches in there. So good.
In the summer when it is very hot, go relax in the air-conditioned Tiki Room!
Those baby ducklings! ❤️❤️❤️
I am super excited because me and my wife will be there in September for our 15 year anniversary. Can't wait to be back in Disney again. Thank you for always showing us everything
I really dig how thoughtful, and ultimately helpful your videos are. You guys are terrific in every way. You make me want to go back to Disney!
LOVE hearing Ghost Riders in the Sky on Frontierland!!! And I saw Roberto on the Twain awhile back and was like... I know him! lol
Your favorite spot is mine too! I loved watching the logs after they went down the drop on Splash Mountain. Nobody is ever over there.
Chris, I love your inspirational messages in the middle of your videos. Of course, I always love your puns & dad jokes!
Thank you for the awesome tips 👍🏻 So helpful even if parents are visiting Disneyland without their kids.
I will also say, we probably won't ever get tired of your encouragement in these videos. Thank you so much! 🎉 You TOO matter. You and your family are precious 💕
Disney days are long - a treat and a quiet place is a must! Appreciate this vlog ☺

Thank you so much!
My favorite rest areas are the sit down restaurants you need reservations for. Food, water, AC, and Disney Magic.
I'm sure I've done all those at one time or another I like resting 😉 And posing Amanda 🔥 and Miles in training as the punny jokester 😂
Very cool!!❤
I never knew about any of these rest spots in Disneyland and I just learned something new today. This information from PPP is so helpful for me on my Disneyland vacations. I wish you could have heard the gasp my husband had when you said "Disney wasn't making churros any longer"...lol
🤣🤣🤣💚💙
That was just quackers 🤣
This was one of my favorites! You always need a place to east. Love you guys!
We Love you Chris!! You motivate me to work harder to get to Disneyland!!!
You are amazing! So positive and informative! We might be in Nephi, but through you we visit the world through your eyes!! Thank you 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
You've hit all my 3.5yo granddaughters & I favorite spots(almost). Yesterday's 52nd visit for us was in DCA, which also has a number of good spots! Thanks for an amazing YT channel!!
Nice hidden gems to know for our next trip 👍🏼
Thanks for making this awesome video. I didn’t realize all these great spots to take a minute and rest. Love the gum joke! You are amazing!
Hello,
I am so glad I came across this and thank you for showing all the restfall places are. So helpful.😊
Didn't see the Dad duck with the mama and babies, he must be a deadbeat duck😂
Thank you for all of your amazing posts!
I got arrested last time I went to Disneyland just like that poor kid. I bought a pretzel and then got a fuel rod immediately after, I was charged with a salt and battery.
🤣🤣😁💚💙
You got me 😅
One time my friends and I fall asleep for like an hour on the train. We pulled an all nighter to get to Disneyland
