We saw you filming this just in front of Jungle Cruise. At 3:27 you can see me pointing you out to my kiddo. We had just watched some of your videos before our trip. Thanks for the great videos. They really helped us make the most of our trip
I think it is awesome that the ride of Indiana Jones is actually outside of the original Disneyland berm boundaries. It is pretty much straight inline with the Park Entrance gates. It also has the longest queue of all the rides in Disneyland Resort and spans I believe 450 ft (straight, but winding adds more length) from the entrance to the ride itself. It is really impressive and one of my all time favorite rides there.
Just found your channel recently and have been enjoying them all with my 3 year old daughter in anticipation of a Disney trip next spring. I have a video request for something along the lines of the best things/places in Disneyland after dark. Keep up the great work!
There used to be a tiki mask outside the tiki room that looked like Maleficent, also the oldest tree in the park is NOT the Dominguez tree. It's the Mugo Pine on the StoryBook land canal boats its next to Geppetto's workshop and is believed to be 150 years old.
Correction, it's been recently identified as a Stone Pine but still old. It was purchased from off-site and transferred to the park. Unlike a bonsai tree it was not modified but is a low dwarf pine with a long life.
Love your videos!! Keep up the great work, Chris!!! I don't think you've ever included the Eeyore parking sign in any of your videos about the Indian Jones ride. When you are in the film room if you look up back towards the projector, the parking sign is barely visible up in the top corner of the room. You have to ask a cast member to shine their flashlight on it. The Indiana Jones ride sits where a portion of the old Disneyland parking lot was before California Adventure was built. Each section of the lot had a sign with a Disney character on it. The ride took over the Eeyore section.
Nice, I met you the day you filmed this! I was wondering what the topic would be. So glad to have met you wish I could be there for the 13th but I won't make down there til the 15th.
The Forbidden 👀have spoken, yes we want more. Next one should be Frontierland because you can work around the lands by going clockwise. Forbidden 👀Forever..
Chris, excellent video as always! I knew some facts about Adventureland and thanks for giving me more secret information about this. The genie lamp look excellent and I hope to see that when I visit Disneyland next week. You continue to bring so much fun and humor to my life and I love the puns that you give and they really make my day. Disneyland continues to be my home base, I have so many memories to share and I wish I could share them all. I would love to see more videos like this so I'm saying Forbidden Eye!
Once upon a time there was steel drum band that played near the opening or above tiki, am I the only one that remembers that?? That's why I love steel drums...
Forbidden Eye I enjoy watching these little gems about Disneyland. I have never been, but am planning a trip next year (for my anniversary ❤) and your videos help me get prepared and learn about all the things to do and see
OH NO!!!!!!!! Spencer from Best Life And Beyond.... "Aaaaay Patrick Begorra". Katie always shakes her head in funny dismay!!! Oh Best Life is So Funny. Just like you you Punny Guy! HUGZ!!!!
I was right next to you guys when you were talking about the Dominguez palm! Got some cool pics and then you were nice enough to take some pics with me and my son! Thank you! Greetings from El Paso, TX!
Forbidden eye. Hey Chris you missed the Obi Wan Kenobi reference on the crate in the queue for Indy. I know you know about it cause I learned it from you in one of your earlier videos! 😏
Loved this video! Thanks, Chris, for giving us details to look for in ..... 6 DAYS❣💛💙 We've been looking forward to this forever (actually 31 years) so it's going to be very special. Hope to see you there!!
I love all the Imagineering references on the screened in board across from the office in Indy. If you look at the addresses on most of the telegrams and notes, many are from WDI office locations in Glendale. 1401 Flower is the main one but also on Grand Central and other streets as well.
Hi Chris, great day in Adventureland! What, no secrets about Bengal Barbecue? Or what jungle natives do to encroachers who arrive with their foreign ways and terrifying puns?!
13:00 WRONG! Here is the REAL reason the right side is hidden: The magazine's September 26, 1938 issue which featured Mickey Mouse later appeared as part of the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye theme park attraction. The issue is again anachronistic to its setting, but the cover's date is obscured from being viewed.
Another awesome video Chris, we are going to Disneyland in late May hopefully we can run into you for a photo my family loves your videos we all follow you!
I’m not so sure about that “just a show” for the Enchanted Tiki Room. I clearly remember having a lunch there while the Tiki show was going on. This was about 1957-58. Also have seen the menus for the Guests back then as well.
You probably ate at the Tahitian Terrace which was right behind the Tiki Room and where he referred to the Aladdin Oasis. That was the Tahitian Terrace.

Yay!! Next time come up and say hi. 💚💙

The Tiki room attendant is the real star of the show here. I kept watching to see if Chris could get her to laugh... He did it!
Just found your channel recently and have been enjoying them all with my 3 year old daughter in anticipation of a Disney trip next spring.
I have a video request for something along the lines of the best things/places in Disneyland after dark.
Keep up the great work!
I'm impressed. I didn't know most of those secrets.
The 24 one cans was actually comedy gold XD
I've read so many books on Disneyland but still learn from your videos. Thank you for your hard work and thorough research.
Forbidden Eye!
12 toucans equaling 24 one-cans was fantastic btw.

The petrified tree is even older. But the Dominguez Palm is the oldest relic of the Dominguez family and their ownership of the land.
Actually the oldest living thing in Disneyland is a Mugo Pine in Storybook land by Pinocchio's Village. It's over 150 years old.
Lol 150 years old ?
Correction, it's been recently identified as a Stone Pine but still old. It was purchased from off-site and transferred to the park. Unlike a bonsai tree it was not modified but is a low dwarf pine with a long life.

Patrick's last name is pronounced "Beh-gore-ah." Like in "faith and begorrah" (typically said with an Irish accent).
Once upon a time there was steel drum band that played near the opening or above tiki, am I the only one that remembers that?? That's why I love steel drums...

The oldest thing in Disneyland are chris's bad jokes! Jk jk 🤣
13:00 WRONG! Here is the REAL reason the right side is hidden:
The magazine's September 26, 1938 issue which featured Mickey Mouse later appeared as part of the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye theme park attraction. The issue is again anachronistic to its setting, but the cover's date is obscured from being viewed.
