Fantastic. Especially for borders with pictures, I finally have a use for all my garden snaps of flowers and so on 👍👍

Hi ya Thank you for the great video, you explain it very well and go nice and slow. The only thing i could get my head round was how do you get another image so you can then use that as your border. many thanks Sammie x

Thanks. That’s great to hear. Try Googling pattern images and you should turn up a few free images to use as borders.

Very helpful thanks. I added borders to 10 of my 3:2 landscape images and in order to make them look uniform I had to change the ratio. They are now slightly outside any common ratio but look good and are saved as jpegs. Is there a way to make these files 3:2 while maintaining newly added borders? I want to have them printed up and don't want print shop to crop.

Glad it was helpful. To answer your question, I think your best option is to resize the Canvas so that it creates a 3:2 aspect ration but then centre the image inside it. This would give you the correct aspect ratio for the entire image and boarder but without changing the aspect ratio of the image. If your border design prevents you from using this approach then you probably won't be able to do what you want.
