Exposure Blending in Affinity Photo

- This video demonstrates how to combine two exposures for the same image using Affinity Photo into a single frame.
After last week’s video demonstrating exposure blending in Photoshop, I’ve had requests for the same thing in Affinity Photo. This week, I missed out the RAW processing and started with the images in Affinity Photo. I then combine the images as separate layers of the same image before using a luminosity selection to blend the two together. This replaces the overexposed sky from one image with the correctly exposed sky in another.
This technique uses a luminosity mask created from the overexposed sky. We then paint through this selection using the Affinity Photo Brush tool to produce a mask, combining the two images into one.
