- The Essence of Overlanding is more than just the destination or the amazing truck you drive that gets you there. It is a "vehicle" that enables you to so much more by getting you to places that allow you to press the pause button on your life and retreat to spaces that help you disconnect from distractions and responsibilities. Letting go of everything that is tugging at you gives you the opportunity to reconnect with what is important to you and true for you. This is where you can slow your pace down by tuning into the rhythm of nature so you can review and reset your inner compass.
Adventure Travel is about the experiences that make up the journey where you can explore and discover so much along the way, as well as learn more about yourself.
The simplicity of sharing a camp fire creates a space for deeper connections and opens the doors for meaningful conversations. Nature is where your soul can rest and restore it's self - where you can just BE! The natural overflow from that, is renewed energy, inspiration, perspective and clarity!

Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing this
Thank you for your support and so glad you enjoyed it.
A fine philosophy for life let alone travelling, if they can be separated.
Thank you for your support and encouragement Ben.
Beautiful video and wise words! There are very few places in the world like Africa has to offer.
That is the truth! Thank you for your support - much appreciated.
Very well put ! Reason why I have to go to the Kalahari at least once a year - so when people in camp ask me what did you see, my response is nothing actually, but in reality I experienced everything I need, by being there. Your video brought new clarity as to "why we have to .. .. .. .. " Tks.
Thank you for your constant support Henry - lovely as always to hear from you again. As you so rightly said going to the bush is everything and nothing. It is watching the movie of life in all it's facets...
Thank you for showcasing Mana pools. I subscribe. Be blessed with your family
Mana pools is in a league of it's own!! The crimson sunsets, the beautiful views of the river and the mountains and of course the animals.. thank you!!

Best story teller ❤
Thank you so much🙏
Fantastic video.......waiting to see you next summer....
Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you.
I was very surprised you guys just walked up to some elephants. Is that not very dangerous?
I can understand how it might have looked but we had a wonderful guide who has had 40 years experience in this amazing place and he knows these animals well and they recognise him too. Strange as that may seem. It is not something you can just do with anybody. Thank you for asking🙏🏼
Thanks a lot for this video! I've been dying to go to Africa and this place keeps on coming up. How does one get here? Do you know of a good tour or guide?

@@EssenceOfOverlanding Thanks!
It's a great pleasure and yes we suggest you look up Stretch Ferreira Safaries - they are amazing and their camp is right on the Zambezi River.
1:27 I'm glad this turned out well, but this is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen.
