Yes to the audio with no music when on the lanes. Would rather hear the track, nature and Landy than music. Shame I could not make this one Joel. Looks like a good day was had by all.
Thanks for the feedback @RJB Freelander 2, this seems the overwhelming feeling from most viewers I believe. It was a good day out, we'll have you along on another one soon fella, just keep an eye on the events tab on the group! Next thing is a Meal and Motors meet on the 17th if you fancy joining us for breakfast and some landy chatter! 👍
Fantastic video as always, was nice to hear the sound of the gravel underneath the cars 👌🏻 got to make sure I keep an eye on the events page so I don’t miss the next one 😂
You SWAM in that mud?!!! Yuk! I really hope you had trunks on! Looks really deep. Almost another hydraulic lock disaster by the looks of it! Shame not to make it to this one but hopefully join you on the next outing. Those byways look a bit more challenging that the main tracks.
Great video looks like lots of fun and definitely better without the music it sounds so much better almost as if we're there with you, do you do these meets often? I'll have to come down to one
Thanks Dave, yes we do them somewhat regularly! Keep an eye out on the 'Freelander 2 OffRoad Group (FL2ORG)' on Facebook and you'll be able to keep upto date with our events. 😁👍🚜
It certainly is, there are lots of restrictions and access irregularities to be wary of but on the whole yes the most dense are of legally accessible lanes in the UK. 👍
On this occasion no Paul, though I do carry two at all times and more often than not do deploy them. But on this particular recovery there really was a matter of urgency with getting the vehicle out of the water quickly and efficiently, it was more time effective to use a series of alternative precautions (synthetic line (not cable), soft shackes used, bonnet left up on winching vehicle. 👍

@@JoelSelfOutdoorInstructor Would love to but I will be camping in the Landy in Wales then. Have a good one.

Just my shorts on yep! The things I do for land rover owners, hey! 😉 We'll catch you on an event soon! 👍
Great vid and no annoying twangy US background music. I'd much sooner hear you and the squelch of Wiltshire mud any day.
Thanks for the feedback, that's really helpful 😁👍🚜
Great Video, some serious whine coming from the White one, diff?
Thanks @Tackleberry!
That was my guess, though its recently been replaced, think the consensus was alternator pulley?!

Must be the largest greenlaning zone in England , right? Due to it being a military area? No eco bods about!
Is it?

What tyres have you got on your FL2
BFGOODRICH KM3 Mud Terrains on the rear, Yokohama GeoLander G003 Mud Terrains on the front, all in 245/75/17 😁👍🚜
No winch blanket??
