Does anyone know what kind of troubleshooting would be available for a situation where the display cannot go into the active learning mode and instead stays on the screen with the check mark?

unfortunately some models to did not come equipped with that option you will need a scanner or in ebay they sell a kit with a dongle and fob ready to program it

Chevy Impala, Mine would not work! Could not get it to display the relearn active mode on display, Could not get it to do any beeps after 15 to 20 seconds, Any suggestions!

@@JVFIXLLC All the buttons work. I cannot get the "remote key learning active" to display after "press (check) to relearn remote key" Maybe my chev cannot be reprogramed this way. Thanks.
