This looks amazing. We have heard so many good things about Banff but never had the chance to visit. Its a bit hard to get Canadian visa with a weak passport such as mine. You guys are living our dream (and the dreams of so many others). Hope to visit it one day. - Love from Bangladesh.

Believe me, cleaning the snow off your vehicle gets old fast. Especially when you have to chip away at thick layers of ice! This is why most Canadians will have remote car starters 🥶
Although I've always thought that Canada is the best country in the world, I must admit that you guys really know how to showcase that fact. Well done! 🇨🇦 🇦🇺
Love 4 distinct seasons so it doesn't get boring with the same year round. Put the summer clothing, recreation and sports gear away and transition to the winter clothing, activities and sports.
As a Canadian, I am glad that Canada is one of your favourite countries to visit. Alberta is very beautiful, winter and summer are very different but beautiful in their own way. If you come back when the snow is gone, I would suggest going to Peyto lake if you haven't been, it's more beautiful than some other popular lakes, and the scenic drive of Icefields Parkway is the most picturesque highway.
I went from watching a fee of your beachy holiday videos to watching ever single video you guys have. You guys make me want to have a vacation in the snow😭
Ahhh I didn't realize you guys came to Alberta! Calgarian here, and I'd super suggest coming back and experiencing the mountains in the summer next time! :D

Welcome to our country! You are very brave, as British Columbians we never drive to Alberta in winter lol and we drive in snow all winter. You need to come visit the Okanagan Valley in BC :) We can even show you around.

When you was cleaning that snow from your car... "Oh my gosh, it's really fun!" I was thinking "Yea, sure... try to do it EVERY SINGLE morning during whole winter, how will you consider it fun then." It's really funny to see people from countries without snow how they enjoy it :)
Um, that cabin in Banff is AMAZING! 😮😍 It is such a dream of ours to visit a place that actually snows, like proper snow like that! ☃️ You never get to experience anything like that in Australia! ❄️
As a Calgary native, I have a few favorite winter hikes if you're interested :) one is Johnston Canyon (3-6km depending on upper falls or lower falls) and a special little tight Canyon you can walk up on the creek bed (located at 51.073898,-115.146239) both of these I did 2 weeks ago. Enjoy Banff!
I am so glad you made it to Canada. My husband and I visited Vancouver, British Columbia and Alberta in 2015 and it was the best holiday ever. I remember going up the Gondola on the Banff mountain and it was just AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL completely surrounded by mountains, a scene which will remain with me forever. Other amazing places: Moraine Lake (Banff), Spirit Island in Maligne Lake (Jasper). Lake Louise, not sure if at this time of the year you can walk up to Lake Agnes from Lake Louise (where you will find a tea room) although not such a great idea for Jess since it is around 3.5km uphill!! They use water from Lake Agnes to prepare tea, but I imagine it is all frozen. Another amazing location is the Athasbasca Glacier - Incredible! You might also pass through Mount Robson. I suggested in a previous post to stay at Clearwater Springs Ranch in Clearwater (www.clearwaterspringsranch.com/) such an amazing place. Tania and Kurt are amazing hosts and the area is superb (if you do decide to stay here tell them that Marie and Paul from Malta recommended this place :) I am sure they would be happy to hear)... Don't forget to go up to Clearwater Lake another superb location (Wells Gray Provincial Park). In Clearwater we also had the opportunity to see wild Bears in close proximity, for me, it was such an amazing moment (Jess, just like your Orca moment). The Bear came up right beside the car... We also came across wild Moose ... Another amazing location is Cathedral Mountain Lodge in Yoho National Park (www.cathedralmountainlodge.com/)... Off course there is Whistler, I remember we had stayed at Nita Lake Lodge. Sorry for rambling, but this part of Canada brings back so many wonderful memories. Cant wait to see more of your vlog visit to Canada!
Come visit Alaska! Late May, and June, the humpback whales and orcas are really active in our bay. Resurrection Bay in Seward, AK. After June, they traditionally move further out from the shore, but can still be seen in the distance.. ..or take a boat out and enjoy them. All year you can sit on the shore and enjoy sea lions, harbor seals, sea otter, etc. I live in paradise 😊.
I think Stephen made a new dance getting out of the snow hahaha Also, that was Sulphur Mountain gondola ride, right? Such a beautiful place. I highly recommend SM as well and Johnston Canyon, it was across the highway from the lodges, its an incredible hiking path!
I was in Banff over Christmas and it was magical! I was in a hostel so it had a bit of a different vibe to this, but now that I’m back in New Zealand I just wish I could go backkkkkk 🇨🇦
You literally went to the one restaurant I’ve always wanted to go to in Banff! I’m in Edmonton, so, about a 4.5hr drive from Banff. 😊 P.S. if you’re still in the area, sorry it’s so COLD 🥶 right now. Make sure to plug in your vehicle! 🔌

So little about me I’m from calgary and often drive to banff during summer; never in winter. But after watching this videos of yours I can say with confidence, I’m definitely driving out there in the near future.
