I broke my leg and was grounded on to the.couch. I have just watched all your videos from the start of your channel . I had seen them all but had forgotten a lot, wow you guys have come so far ... good on you both. I watched you and flying the nest and kinging it. You all got me through a hard time. Thank you all. ❤
In all explanations of the sense, We have literally (more than others, myself included) watched their channel grow right in front of our eyes, we (at least me) honestly didn’t think they would grow as big as they are now, and even if their channel grew to where it is now, they are both incredibly humble and down to earth, giving the nice aura about them as being relatable, it’s great that they’re both so down to earth and humble about themselves and everything
It’s so sad to think that they were in jasper just 4 months ago and now it’s been burned by a wildfire and everyone has been evacuated and it just kept spreading ❤ best wishes to everyone who had to evacuate jasper❤
its always awful watching forest fires and its always so intense. I recommend that everyone treats it seriously because ive witnessed the horrors of it
I did that trip in 1969 when I was 12, but from the other direction. My dad got a job in Vancouver and we took the train from Toronto to Vancouver. In my brain the 3.5 day trip lasted approximately 76 years, especially since I had to share a small room with my older brother.
My best friend and I did this in 2019 when I was moving from Vancouver (my hometown) to Toronto for university. Let me tell you, this trip looks very different if you do it on the cheapest possible ticket… 4 days of being crammed in a car with a dozen other people and 4 nights sleeping in what were essentially reclining airplane seats. Still one of my best travel experiences!
I took the Via rail in 2019 too, but I went from Toronto to Vancouver. Being crammed together was the best part. You're forced to talk to people you normally wouldn't be & it really gives you an opportunity to get to know them.
LOVED this, on my bucket list. Just gotta say though: 66 hours in was first shower experience? Yikes. You're blessed. A day without a shower and people run away from me. Love the enthusiasm and joy you both show on this trip.
The fact that you were courteous to your fellow passengers that were eating opposite you, strengthens my already existing belief, that you are both good people. God bless and long may you travel. Thanks for letting us be part of your epic journey.
My mom grew up in Blue River so it was such a surreal experience to hear it mentioned in your video. This trip is a dream of mine. Looks gorgeous! Also! For those interested in the history of Canada....building a transcontinental railroad was a core component of how Canada became a nation. So this particular route is important on a historical basis as well as just being phenomenally gorgeous.
This isn't the route that was built to bring Canada together as a nation - that was the CPR line. This line was built later. It's too bad this train no longer runs on the CPR line because the scenery - especially through the mountains - is much better.
I want to say thank you to both of you guys. I take care of my husband. He is not able to travel. I get to see places that I have never been, when you guys film adventures. It really means a lot to me. Thank you so much. I can see places too, and still take care of my sweetheart.
After starting from the very beginning of watching Kara and Nate from the very beginning, I can now say, I have caught up to the most recent! (Up until they publish another video after this one.) Boy what a ride its been! :)
Yeah not surprised more people don't do it. Canada is expensive as hell for everything. I think I know less than 3 people who have done this trans Canada train ride. And they def did not do the prestige option. Seeing the food and stuff though I get why it is more expensive.
This episode just warmed my heart. I’m so proud of my home country of Canada. I’m so glad you enjoyed your trip. Canada is such a beautiful country. Kara, I bawled like a baby watching the last episode of Ted Lasso. Like you, I didn’t want it to end. I haven’t loved a show as much as Ted Lasso since Friends. Safe travels and take care of one another.❤
I JUST now finished watching the first leg of this journey in the US, and now I'm here for the Canadian train! I waited until now so I can binge! You have no idea how excited I am to see this episode! LOVE Kara and Nate train content, and Canada does everything right, so I imagine this is going to be epic! ❤ Here we go! Thanks you two!
Two years have flown by! I am so thrilled after travelling the whole WORLD, you made it to my home city, Vancouver, Canada. You two just took the train trip, my parents took together. 30 (almost) happy married years. My late mother (as of 2019) is smiling down on you two. Happy marriage, happy travels. So much love. Thank you for showing me, some of their best memories, in your own view. Only crying a little, promise.
Thank you for doing these videos, they are very helpful with my mental health. I spent 4 years studying part psychology and after graduation I realized that I wanted to be a farmer, tending chickens, goats and vegetables😂😂I became so very depressed one afternoon, so I decided to check my lab top to find something that can make me feel good inside. Fortunately, I stumbled upon your video and my day was made!!!!! great help, I shall be watching everything that you guys do, Thanks a million😘😘
I've wanted to take this train, FOREVER. Unfortunately my health drained my bank account and at 70 I probably won't be able to recover. I guess I travel vicariously through you both....THX!!
Hi Kara & Nate ~ can’t wait to watch your vlog on the second part of your journey - I live in a rehabilitation centre as I suffer with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis and lupus. I’m either bedbound or wheelchair bound - I can only dream about all your travels - your content is great, and so is everything else - thank you for all you do and all your hard work in putting the vlogs up ~ sending loads of love and loads of hugs to you both ~ Xxx Xxx
Ive been subscribed to your channel since you were sitting on just under 1 million subscribers. Thanks for taking me to all the places I will never get to go to myself, its a unique way to see the world (with the added bonus that my bones dont ache from the cold!). Looking forward to seeing where you take me next Sunday.

Kara, everyone deserves to be happy and loved! We all love your videos and love seeing your adventures, but it’s also so much better when you’re just loving life and enjoying yourself. That’s what we connect on. We may never travel to the places you visit and we may forget the fun facts you share, but we all watch to see the laughter and fun you and Nate have exploring the world. ❤
Best traveling couple on youtube. Always love Kara's room tour. And her train tour! Scenery was top notch. Your videos are informative & funny. You always make me laugh. Especially Kara. She's hilarious.
Amtrak from Chicago to the west usually has an observation car. The East Coast trains have meals like airplanes (heat and eat) where the trains from Chicago to the west have a kitchen and amazing food. The NY line that goes north and south have to be single level because of bridges and tunnels.
Awesome video as always Kara and Nate. Train travel is such a unique experience of traveling. Can't wait for more Van adventures. Thanks for letting us ride along with y'all on y'all's adventures.
OMG Nate you say Toronto like you have lived here all your life!!!! Amazing!! Thank you for the Canadian Adventure video. Wish I could have welcomed you to Toronto personally, love you guys! Love your adventures, can't wait to see where you go next!
Hey Kara, Nate, Loved!! Your video of your Cross Canada Train Ride! As a proud Canadian, I love my Country and have always thought about traveling Cross Country on the Train as I love the laid back feeling of Train Travel. Kara, your energy is amazing and Nate your perspectives are Great! You truly look to be a perfect couple...Nice to see!! I will definitely be looking into the Canadian "Prestige" Trip! All the best in your future Travels! Thanks, Kevin
I haven’t watched you guys for ages but coming back to hear Kara mess up and laugh… followed by “sorry” as she swivels the table and nearly knocks the glasses off, pronounces the French like an amateur and sings Ohhhhh Canada, demonstrating how you walk around stylishly Kara style and enjoy the scenery and Nate saying “Canapés” 😂😂😂. Missed watching you guys!! Kara the body is always bodying girl!!! Was it the cycling that made you 100 times more toned? How do you look awesome all the time??? My partner is giving me the side eye as I type this comment. He doesn’t know girls compliment each other like this just bcos we support other women!!! You go girl!!! 🥰
I love you guys, I really love the conversation around mental health and normalizing therapy. However, I REALLY wish you would stop promoting Better Help. It is probably one of the sneakiest, worst services in the world. They’ve been sharing private information for money, they treat their therapists horribly and that leads to worse treatment for patients. Therapy is super important and necessary, Better Help is a parasite of a company and I cannot believe that after all they’ve done they’re still getting TH-camrs agreeing to promote them. Please please consider cutting ties with them. I have so much respect for you guys and I know others do too and I hate to think that people are willingly giving this company money because of that respect for you. Thank you for the consideration.
Just discovered these two and this is my second video and man alive, they get my unwavering support moving forward. What a beautiful video. Tears when they stopped in Jasper and shouts of joy each time they pronounced Toronto correctly. ❤🍁
I JUST now finished watching the first leg of this journey in the US, and now I'm here for the Canadian train! I waited until now so I can binge! And we love you too!! Glad you rode the "Canadian"...she is a beautiful experience! Now, go stay at the Royal York in Toronto! Cheers from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
I just love this video and I love Canada ! I loved that you guys liked it . What a genuine review and beautifully edited video !!!! Loved every minute of it
Your videos just give me a reason to start my Saturday mornings with a better attitude, a better sense of adventure of what lies ahead, with positivity and wonder. I mean, it’s Saturday morning, ‘my day’, when years ago it was all about cartoons, cereal to start the fun-day, followed by the adventures that awaited the day. Now it’s coffee, K&N, and future travel planning, let the day’s adventure(s) begin! 🥰💪✌🌠
Super nice train experince. I am so jealous. Love your channel. I started from beginning and more then year after I am finally in this year (2024) of yours travel. And yes Ted Lasso is the one of the best series. Thank you for your love and passion for traveling. It means a lot to us who can't travel as you do. Regards from Prague
Oh My Goodess.....I am travelling from Australia and doing this trip in August and I am even more excited now than I already was. Kara and Nate, thank you for yet another fantastic video and experience ❤
Oh gosh! After all these years I’m only just getting over you guys pronouncing the H in vehicle and now you go and throw “canapés” in the mix!! 😂 Brilliant!! This trip will definitely be on the lotto win bucket list, stunning!
@@llaughridgewait, how do you pronounce vehicle without slightly sounding the H? Also, yes, I was also came to the comments to look to see if anybody else noticed the pronunciation of canapé. 😂
Love this train! Also….you better believe I just jumped online and ordered the brown corduroy Patagonia jacket Kara was wearing! Love it, I also still have my Oura Ring from years ago when y’all were sponsored. Love that too! Keep the cuteness coming ❤❤❤
I’m always so happy when I’m sorta early to a video! You guys have really inspired me to start traveling again! I have a little fear of planes but you guys have helped me overcome that fear! Thank you Kara and Nate
You two are adorable. My wife and I are frequent Viking River, ocean, and expedition cruise veterans, but Vancouver to Toronto by rail is something that we'll have to consider.
Hey the general public gets to take vacations from their jobs and you should too! Take a break. Take a vacation! Im from canada and i dont use the train but you two definitely made it look good and appealing! So glad and proud that you loved it so much !
If I were them, I would plan on taking at least a day or 2 in every city they travel to, just to do stuff without filming and if you find something interesting then film it but if not oh well.
Thank you for sharing this experience with us! The views are mesmerizing 😍 It looks like you went in the best season for it as well! Sending love from Uruguay 🇺🇾
I just realized I really do love the train content from y’all! Prolly bc the first time I tuned in was for the first trans Siberian train series so now it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see new stuff! Luhyabye ❤❤
I need to do that, as soon as I hit the lottery. That looked like so much fun, and like you did it at the best time of the year. To see the Rockies on such a clear winter day was amazing. Thanks for sharing. Love yah Nancy
Love this! I'm from just outside of Vancouver (you guys went through my town at about 9:52!!) and it's always cool seeing my city and country from the persepctive of others. I actually took the Amtrak to Seattle last week and loved it! Hope to do this trip one day!
Thank you for sharing...as an Islander located in Eastern Canada please know that there is sooo much more of Canada east of Toronto - These provinces include: Quebec a large French part of Canada, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland considering there are 10 provinces in Canada there is still so much more to see, I hope you visit these areas and show case their beauty as well one day! The Maritime Provinces are so different and unique than the central and western part of Canada. You wont be disappointed coming to see us! And lets not forget about the territories!
I rode this same trip in May 2016 but stayed in a bottom berth which was itself quite comfortable! The quality of the meals blew me away and far exceeded what I'd have expected on a train, thanks Amtrak. Now I want to ride again in Prestige class!
So fine and I wish Kara and Nate had a channel just like theirs to watch!! Where they soared in Delight seeing a new vid just came on. Such instant Happiness 😁 🎯
I did this trip (Toronto to Vancouver) last year and I recommend it 100%. Excellent food, great service, comfortable journey. I loved every minute of it!
I’m so glad you enjoyed your train ride through Canada! I live on Vancouver Island, but I used to live in small town Alberta. The views are incredible! ❤
what i love is always, always one of you brings the coffee/hotbeverage in the mornings and this has been same for years?? i don't remember the exact time i've seen you but... that's the thing man... when you or she brings the coffee, my day gets brightened. god bless you two.
I’ve subscribed to you guys for years and watched you religiously, which is why it’s so disappointing to see that you are selling your morals by continuing to accept sponsors from better help. There is no way you are oblivious to the exposure of the corruption of this company that has continued now for at least 5 years. They were legally proven and vindicated for selling users private information shared during therapy to advertisers for money, not to mention the neglect in hiring therapists, leading to very damaging behaviour from people dealing with those even on emergency hotlines. They are risking peoples lives and benefitting from their pain. Please stop accepting their bribes, I really don’t want to have to stop supporting you guys. At a minimum please really look into it yourselves first.
those views were absolutely gorgeous! a blanket of snow really just adds to the already beautiful sights!! also that viewing train-car was amazing; i can imagine just chilling there, reading or napping ^^ the food looked so delicious (having carrot cake and falafel cravings now). also enjoy that you two post everything in the sense of the "awkward" coach-only train-car part and the technical stuff like the shower buttons! it feels like we're almost living it with you when we get all the real parts too!!
Love y’all but “across Canada” on a train doesn’t mean Vancouver to Toronto. It means Vancouver to Halifax, Nova Scotia! I gotta stick up for us East coasters ❤️
Across county generally means from one large city on the coast to the next large county on the other side. Just like how across America is New York to Seattle even though there are several states East of New York. This applies to any county, not just northern America. Like how "across Italy" is Rome to Venice even though there are many towns North of Venice and South of Rome.
There’s far more to Canada east of Toronto lol - also bizarre comparison of this and Amtrak if the price is astronomically more. Really miss the old Kara and Nate and this just solidifies it - they’re travelling for content, not for enjoyment and it shows. Can’t wait to see what the next first class airline seat or ultra-luxury hotel room is 🤪
So true! It would be so nice if they showed the destinations rather than the luxury travel to get to the destinations. So many amazing sights and eats they could’ve documented in Vancouver and Toronto but instead showed how to use the light switches and shower on the train. I miss the old travel vlogs that inspired so much travel in the past
@@jaywinner328The train was $10k+ more - and it wasn’t even a good train, it was an old Via train with nothing impressive, all of what you see once you get past Banff is just flat boring land lol - I’d much rather see the destination frankly. Do not care about ultra-luxury methods of getting to places, ultra-luxury luxury places to stay in these places and/or ridiculous “challenges” - I just miss their old videos
I'm going to address the elephant in the room...lol. It's a very nice enjoyable trip from Vancouver to Toronto on a Via train, but for $10,000? Good Lord!!! I could easily have a wonderful 1st class trip circumnavigating the world for that price......lol Great video. It's always nice to see Canadian content.
oh my goodness! so glad you had such a lovely introduction to Saskatchewan. I began the video wondering “hmm I wonder if they’ll film anything going through Saskatoon”. very pleasant surprise♥️
Once I realized you paid $10k for the Canada trip you really compared apples and oranges. Like you compared Japan Airlines first class with United Economy

I was thinking the same thing. Crazy how so much can change in so (relatively) little time
And Trudeau sends billions to the corrupt Ukraine instead of helping rebuild Canadian cities
Nate saying "canapés" gave me the laugh I needed today
It drove me crazy every time he said it!!
Hahaha!! Came to look for this comment. I wondered if I’ve been pronouncing it wrong my whole life…because one of us must be 🙈😂
He put the emPHASis on the wrong sylLABle.
It's supposed to be pronounced Can-uh-pees. I laughed at that too.
Canapé is French. The pronunciation is
canna-pay 🙂

I was looking for this comment
Yup
Right?? They had a huge scandal a few years ago, and I still see them sponsoring youtubers everywhere. so disappointing.
I didn’t know this! Thanks for commenting, I’m totally looking this up
Because youtubers need this money to live their lifestyle, at one point your moral and ethical views are blurred @@etta5487
So glad for this video, thanks! This train trip has been on my bucket list for quite a while. Hope it happens some day for sure!
As a Canadian, this has been on my bucket list for, like, everrrrr! So excited for this video! ❤
SAMMEEEE!!!!
Kara pronouncing Toronto “torono” three minutes into the video is amazing😂 Already learning the Canadian ways
WOW!!!
Toronto= trono 😄
Toronto , correct way
Just discovered these two and this is my second video and man alive, they get my unwavering support moving forward. What a beautiful video. Tears when they stopped in Jasper and shouts of joy each time they pronounced Toronto correctly. ❤🍁
Ahh! So exciting and beautiful!
Thanks for the clarification, comparing Amtrak vs upscale.
IKR, whats next compare economy to business class? oh wait they already did that!
I JUST now finished watching the first leg of this journey in the US, and now I'm here for the Canadian train! I waited until now so I can binge! You have no idea how excited I am to see this episode! LOVE Kara and Nate train content, and Canada does everything right, so I imagine this is going to be epic! Here we go! Thanks you two!
Loved every minute of it
Love you guys so much you always put a smile on my face
Your videos just give me a reason to start my Saturday mornings with a better attitude, a better sense of adventure of what lies ahead, with positivity and wonder. I mean, it’s Saturday morning, ‘my day’, when years ago it was all about cartoons, cereal to start the fun-day, followed by the adventures that awaited the day. Now it’s coffee, K&N, and future travel planning, let the day’s adventure(s) begin! 🥰💪✌🌠
Been going through some rough medical issues lately but I can always count on Kara and Nate to make me feel better. Thank you both. ❤️ 💐
❤❤❤❤❤
Sending get well wishes ❤❤
@@usagi1ify thank you 😊
Same....
Praying for you! God is with you always❤❤ God bless!
August will be a beautiful time of year to do it!❤️
You will love Canada!
Oh gosh! After all these years I’m only just getting over you guys pronouncing the H in vehicle and now you go and throw “canapés” in the mix!! 😂 Brilliant!!
This trip will definitely be on the lotto win bucket list, stunning!
🤣 I'm so here for this! Can-aaaaa-peyz
As part of an amazing video of course 😍
Haha came here to (gently) tease Nate about this too. Hilarious.
"Vee-hickle" is definitely a southern US thing.
I Love it when Kara reads the French translations! And I love it when the French style music plays in the background as she reads! ❤😆
The outside of the train + the scenery looks like a scene from Snowpiercer❄️
Love that show and movie.
I saw the first 10 seconds and I thought the same😅
also something about the way the guy asked "are you from the back of the train?" gave me huge snowpiercer vibes
Thank you for sharing this experience with us! The views are mesmerizing 😍 It looks like you went in the best season for it as well!
Sending love from Uruguay 🇺🇾
Kara, I love watching your videos and seeing you so happy! Thank you for taking care of your mental health and being so open about it. ❤❤❤
It’s fake emotions, don’t you see?

I just realized I really do love the train content from y’all! Prolly bc the first time I tuned in was for the first trans Siberian train series so now it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to see new stuff! Luhyabye ❤❤
Prolly????
Their Siberian train series was also the first thing I ever watched from them, got me hooked.
i live near vancouver and it makes me so happy when you guys enjoy the things we have to offer😌 i’m glad you had a wonderful trip!
Awesome! You two definitely need to explore Canada more in the summer as well by road travel. You would love the east coast areas!
Definitely a different feeling in the East ❤

You should watch Adventures with A & K on TH-cam if you haven’t already, they did some great Atlantic Canada travel videos last year ❤❤
Totally agree! I got to see some of the Maritimes last year and can't wait to go back to explore more.
Nate saying canawpees instead of ka·nuh·peez is truly a Tennessee moment. 🤣🤣🤣
So neat to see you guys in Jasper!! I live very close by and this spot holds a special place in my heart. Definitely worth a longer visit! ❤
I rode this same trip in May 2016 but stayed in a bottom berth which was itself quite comfortable! The quality of the meals blew me away and far exceeded what I'd have expected on a train, thanks Amtrak. Now I want to ride again in Prestige class!
OMG the food was so good! I thought it was going to be like plane food
@@erikainglasses SAME! And I grew up with Amtrak, so my expectations were low without being quite plane food low...I did not expect THAT.
Well, it’s 10,000 dollars and not all of us have it
@@fozianoreen3495 no, I paid slightly over $1,300. for a Sleeper Berth.
I’m so glad you enjoyed your train ride through Canada! I live on Vancouver Island, but I used to live in small town Alberta. The views are incredible! ❤
I think it's not fair them comparing Amtrak to a $10,000 train ride lol
$10000 is fucking ridiculous
It's not the Mountaineer; it's VIA..$500.Cdn.
that’s $7000 usd

The people who remember her 'Travel Day Music' from episodes 1-20 would beg to differ! 😄
what i love is always, always one of you brings the coffee/hotbeverage in the mornings and this has been same for years?? i don't remember the exact time i've seen you but... that's the thing man... when you or she brings the coffee, my day gets brightened. god bless you two.
Nate has brought her coffee every morning for ten years! She posted about it on IG recently.
@@sfowler1017 this is awesome… a prescious detail… thank you dear for bringing me the news
Excellent video! I live in Vancouver and this is giving me travel ideas! Thanks for posting!
At a minimum please really look into it yourselves first.
seeing them mention Jasper makes me so sad knowing that half the town burnt down...
those views were absolutely gorgeous! a blanket of snow really just adds to the already beautiful sights!! also that viewing train-car was amazing; i can imagine just chilling there, reading or napping ^^ the food looked so delicious (having carrot cake and falafel cravings now). also enjoy that you two post everything in the sense of the "awkward" coach-only train-car part and the technical stuff like the shower buttons! it feels like we're almost living it with you when we get all the real parts too!!
“yOu GuYs ArEnT aLlOwEd To CoMe OvEr HeRe” whatever dude lol
I don’t know, but I’m crying so much. I’m so proud of you guys! Your crew are awesome too!!!! Congrats, Nate and Rick!! And the crew!!
The employee that told them they couldn't come in the cheapskate observation deck was extremely rude
@@kfu1234 If you're taking a train instead of a plane, being on the train IS the point. The destinations are of little relevance.
Videos like this make me thankful for moving to the Rockies ❤ best view all time. Lots of great adventures
I'm going to address the elephant in the room...lol. It's a very nice enjoyable trip from Vancouver to Toronto on a Via train, but for $10,000? Good Lord!!! I could easily have a wonderful 1st class trip circumnavigating the world for that price......lol
Great video. It's always nice to see Canadian content.
Wait what?!?!? You're joking???
$10K for a train ride is wild! Definitely not something I’d pay for but cool to see you both enjoy it so much 😊
$10K for the first class per person I guess...what about the economy class?! But 10K???!!Seriously??!Damn....!
oh my goodness! so glad you had such a lovely introduction to Saskatchewan. I began the video wondering “hmm I wonder if they’ll film anything going through Saskatoon”. very pleasant surprise♥️
Just here to watch Nate film Kara walk
DID YALL SEE EAMON, & BECK?
Glad you enjoyed the Canadian Train, the people of Canada are special too❤🎉
I woke up just in time to start my day with Kara and Nate! SO EXCITED!
update: What an awesome trip!
Once I realized you paid $10k for the Canada trip you really compared apples and oranges. Like you compared Japan Airlines first class with United Economy
Was it $5,000 per person?
@@greeneggslamb9336 looking at this route in this class now, its 11k one way per person
Always love Kara’s happy dance but Nate’s was wonderful 😊
