I played it a ton for it’s active phase. I jumped back into it on PS3 around 2017 for a while. Unfortunately it was really hard to find domination matches. I still find it to be the best multiplayer COD game every released.

Exactly the same for me was born in 2000. The only other multiplayer fps game that really engrossed me after as black ops 2 did is overwatch. This is coming from someones who's basically played every single low key and triple A fps.

This game is an example of a perfect game. Awesome Campaign with multiple endings, probably the best Multiplayer of all time, super fun Zombies and amazing Soundtrack.
Many people think of multiplayer when hearing this, but there was nothing more badass than jumping out of the plane and hearing this in the backround while everything around you explodes.

You get right back on the next morning. Then..sometime..a day that you can't exactly say, you stop. You never boot up this game again. But 5 years later, you're listening to it on your computer during school..wishing to just go back to simpler times, where all you did was game with friends.

Compared to games these days it wasn’t a lot. DLC’s were cheap as fuck back then Not like games now where they’re full of supply drops and stuff designed to just get kids to spent their mom’s credit card. Back in the days of these call of duty games the content was worth buying

It’s also unique because we get to play the Soviet perspective in the Eastern Front and the American perspective in the Pacific theater. Unlike the overdone and dry American perspective in Europe from D Day to the end of the war.

Reefster COD yeesh. I just honestly remember it technically being my first cod. I had played tidbits of each cod beforehand, but this was the first one. So the whole sense of discovery is what made the game for me. Furthermore, my friend gave me his copy, which is epic

I had a friend who loved Black Ops 2 multiplayer so much. He died by suicide back in 2021, and every time I return to this game I get this gut wrenching feeling playing or hearing this song. The memories of not only this game but him as well are sincere. Thank you Travis for the memories you gave me with Black Ops 2. I love and miss you.

We where just a happy kid playing a game, without caring about life or anything else. Life used to be more easy, so many memories, you dont know how much you love something until you lost it. Gunplay was great, nothing was Truly overpowered. Maps were AWESOME, there was no real camping issue. The only issue was the player base, but like fine wine it solved itself, and even improved. Makes me sad to see a franchise like this get milked to its core. Lets be real though screw knifing in that game
My first COD was World at War, I played every COD after and this one is still to me, hands down, the best COD game of all time. I was 16 when this game released, I played MW2, BO1, and MW3 at the heights of their prime and while I love all those games also, BO2 was near flawless. The maps, the music, the zombies, the campaign, league play. What a fucking great game.

I remember playing this when I was 5. Shortly after it came out I turned 6 and I had already been playing bo1 since I was 4. Good times. Goooood times. Bo2 will always and forever be my favorite game. #2- halo 1-3, #3-Bo1, #4-Minecraft(also played since I was 4 which is the year it came out), #4 or 5-very early days of fortnite. Fortnite was actually so good and so fun to play with friends season 1-5, and then it started getting retarded. Season 3 and 4 are tied for my favorites. I could keep going and probably think of better games that I played that would come earlier in the list, but I ain’t got all night😂 come to think of it, Minecraft should come a bit later in the list, but I don’t feel like changing it😂

@@ericzhang7820 I guess it depends on personal taste. CoD waw was my favorite campaign. The grittiness of its portrayal of WWII can’t be matched. It’s also unique because we get to play the Soviet perspective in the Eastern Front and the American perspective in the Pacific theater. Unlike the overdone and dry American perspective in Europe from D Day to the end of the war.

We where just a happy kid playing a game, without caring about life or anything else. Life used to be more easy, so many memories, you dont know how much you love something until you lost it. I miss my friends, I miss this days.
Gunplay was great, nothing was Truly overpowered. Maps were AWESOME, there was no real camping issue. The only issue was the player base, but like fine wine it solved itself, and even improved.
Makes me sad to see a franchise like this get milked to its core.

My first COD was World at War, I played every COD after and this one is still to me, hands down, the best COD game of all time. I was 16 when this game released, I played MW2, BO1, and MW3 at the heights of their prime and while I love all those games also, BO2 was near flawless. The maps, the music, the zombies, the campaign, league play. What a fucking great game.

Bo2 will always and forever be my favorite game. #2- halo 1-3, #3-Bo1, #4-Minecraft(also played since I was 4 which is the year it came out), #4 or 5-very early days of fortnite. Fortnite was actually so good and so fun to play with friends season 1-5, and then it started getting retarded. Season 3 and 4 are tied for my favorites. I could keep going and probably think of better games that I played that would come earlier in the list, but I ain’t got all night😂 come to think of it, Minecraft should come a bit later in the list, but I don’t feel like changing it😂
