Crazy. I was 15 when this released. Now I am 28, married, w/ 2 daughters. I miss waking up at 8AM Saturday mornings to play w/ my friends from school and friends I met online. Thank you all here also, for making this game playable. I would definitely spend $100-200 on a game that can help me re-live the nostalgia.

When this was released, I preferred MW2 for Multiplayer, but Zombie's was the best, Kino de Toten and Ascension 🙌, so MW2 for Multiplayer, BO1 For Zombie's.

The User Interface was so simple back in the day, just a simple “Have a nice day”. No battle passes, no micro transactions, no weapon skins, no emblems, no watches, no characters, no logos pushed in your face every minute. That’s what made this game beautiful.

@@kruegersix Honestly, I'm against the remastering of games. Call of Duty has to innovate. We can't just dwell on the past and reboot older Cod games even though they were perfect. Even if BO1, BO2 or MW2 got remastered, it would turn out worse than the original games. Microtransactions, pay to win guns, non-cosmetic items. Activision also got a lot greedier. MWR was alright, but it you basically had to buy IW to play MWR, which killed it for me. It's not the same man
I genuinely feel bad for the people out there that didn't get to experience the true golden age of CoD, from CoD 4 to B01, times were simple, no arrogant rich streamers, no loot crates and pay to win, just a few sniper montages and camping commentaries and some damn awesome games.
And who can forget shit-talking 12y/o....those were the days😭😭

I remember being 10 and 11 playing this game in 2010/2011 and hearing all the older teens and young adults 16-21 talking on the headset and leading the matches. Fast foward 10 years ish later im those older people now being 22
