    Mine didn’t come with the square plate that goes underneath on the stem. I had just the smaller metal fitting to hold the hoses when I tightened it. Only thing after I installed it water seems to get under the faucet because it doesn’t seem super tight. Don’t get it. Should I put silicone around it?

    Just wondered I have a flat black similar version of this but the spray head spins freely, there's no flat spot the unscrew the spray head from the hose to change the screen and gasket. Any suggestions?

    I realize this was few years ago but do you recall if all the hoses are replaceable in this? I have one and want to replace all my supply lines. I hope I don't need a whole new faucet.

    Please help! We love our Moen Align, and we had it installed, it looked great, but another plumber came and messed with it, and now it’s super loose and leans forward on the sink. The plumber says it’s too heavy for our style of sink, but before him, it was fine! Any recommendations?

    Since I'm not an expert in reading specs, your video was what I needed to see. Moen's website had pdf specifications show the handle appears to move backwards in the off position. Maybe an arrow would better explain the movement of the handle.

    You should get Ridgids EZ change faucet tool, around $20 from H/D, I find it a lot easier than the basin wrench, works for a lot of situations.

    Great Video! Ordered mine from Lowes after price match with HD $346. Can you tell me where to pick up that long wrench you used to tighten the nut? That's just what I have been looking for.

    I am about to install this fixture and found the video to be helpful. Thanks! A couple of comments, however: This video could have been done in 5 minutes vs. 15. I would bet that if you searched on the ideal video length you would see that 3-5 minutes is ideal. Seriously, watch your own videos and do a little self-critique. I clicked on another video of yours which was on drain cleaning and it is 18 minutes long!
    If you want to entertain people, then hire some models as they did in the EyeHandy videos which are highly entertaining, quite useful and under 5 minutes. If you truly want to educate people then do what you are doing but learn to edit. Again, thanks for posting on the precise fixture that I am about to install...

    Great video... Suggestion, add spring hanging faucet/ sprayer to the description, hopefully you have more footage showing the limits the sprayer reaches in the sink...may increase your views as it was hard to find an all around video! Again thanks! It is helpful.

    Chuck, while taking my daily walk.i talked with a lady that lives in my neighborhood.she is 91.she told me she had the kitchen sink faucet replaced by a well known plumbing company in our town they have been in business over 60 years.they charged her 492.00 bucks.she said they gave her a 50.00 senior discount or it would have cost 542.00 i ask her how long it took them.she said about 30 minutes.i took a look and it was a delta 2 handle faucet with sprayer cost less than 40 bucks at lowes.i told her never call these people again.i told her call me if she has any plumbing problems again and if i could not fix it i will call someone that is more honest than these jerks.most plumbers are honest hard working people but man some of them will flat rip you off.

      Let me ask you something. Have you ever ran a plumbing business. Who pays for the technician to be out there? Who pays for the gas for the van the plumber is driving? Who pays for the workman’s comp. who pays for the payroll tax. It costs money for a licensed and insured plumber to come to your house and perform a service. Not being mean or trying to be nasty but it costs a lot of money to run a plumbing business.

    • @ChuckBarron
      @ChuckBarron  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was gonna say the same.....especially if she hired a big company.....lots of over head. Now there is that guy out there that will give back to community but he gonna have to charge her a pretty penny too. Or that new plumber being established. The over head is insane.
