    For those who are inexperienced, you really should have made mention of plumbers putty on all the necessary pieces. Otherwise really helpful. Thanks.

    Thanks. Not sure why the video doesn't show how you got the faucet and handles on.

    You didn’t need to use a sealant when placing the valves and shank to the sink?

    Good install video, Tim.
    Can you follow up with the removal of the handles, for cartridge replacement and aerator removal to clean it?

    I had to watch this video to double check the installation. I bought a set of these taps at Lowes the C clips were missing. It was the only set of Moen taps they had in stock. I returned them and drove to Home Depot and bought another set in an unopened box and the C clips were also missing in that box. I bought Moen because I was told they are the best. The supply lines setups look Mickey Mouse. I think I've lost track of fuel and time wasted on going back and forth to hardware stores because parts are missing in something. Unimpressed with Moen.

    How do you get two wrenches when the sink is in place lol. Barely any room lol.

    • @Free-g8r
      @Free-g8r 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to use a basin wrench. A regular wrench or channel locks can't fit

    I see you didnt show how that tailpiece that comes from the sink is not a true 1 1/4 inch piece and doesnt go into a 1 1/4 inch p trap... what did you do to remedy this I see the camera didnt go all the way up to show that top piece of that p trap system.... I'd appreciate the info on the fix its racking my brain

    I have this faucet... and it sprays everywhere - does not have a nice 'waterfall' flow like yours. Going to try cleaning the aerator but any other ideas why it sprays? I've seen several reviews on HD about the same problem. Thank you!

    You omitted the part about how to hook up the pop up mechanism for the drain....which is the part I can't figure out.

    How in the freakin world do you tighten the 1 1/4 nut for the handle (and loosen old ones) the space is way too tight it’s impossible it seems I’m stuck

    I have this installed and the water pressure is very low and it comes out in a weird pattern. I can’t seem to remove the aerator though. What should I do?

    Thank you Tim! I am actually installing two of these guys, I am fighting with the drain pipe it looks to be too long for my P-trap, I might have to get an elbow perhaps? could you please educate me illuminate me with your knowledge please? Thank you in advance and keep up the great American work

    • @chetmyers7041

      Did you end using a saw to shorten the drain pipe? Be sure to debur the plastic, or hair will snag on the sharp bits.

    No plumber putty needed ?

    • @2tallB
      @2tallB 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, every piece mounted on the vanity would have putty on the topside. As per instructions.

    • @Free-g8r
      @Free-g8r 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@2tallB I thought that too. But the Moen manual I have doesn't mention where to put the putty for the handles. It just mentions to do this for the faucet.
      For the handles though I put putty around the washers that sit against the sink. I hope that's the right place
