You’re my new TH-cam Journeymen I’m definitely subscribing Thank you for your hard work and even harder work posting this stuff for everyone’s benefit!
I had to watch this video to double check the installation. I bought a set of these taps at Lowes the C clips were missing. It was the only set of Moen taps they had in stock. I returned them and drove to Home Depot and bought another set in an unopened box and the C clips were also missing in that box. I bought Moen because I was told they are the best. The supply lines setups look Mickey Mouse. I think I've lost track of fuel and time wasted on going back and forth to hardware stores because parts are missing in something. Unimpressed with Moen.
I see you didnt show how that tailpiece that comes from the sink is not a true 1 1/4 inch piece and doesnt go into a 1 1/4 inch p trap... what did you do to remedy this I see the camera didnt go all the way up to show that top piece of that p trap system.... I'd appreciate the info on the fix its racking my brain
I have this faucet... and it sprays everywhere - does not have a nice 'waterfall' flow like yours. Going to try cleaning the aerator but any other ideas why it sprays? I've seen several reviews on HD about the same problem. Thank you!
My handles are shaky anytime I adjust them to be straight like yours.. when I put them in and their not straight no shake. Do you know what it could be?
How in the freakin world do you tighten the 1 1/4 nut for the handle (and loosen old ones) the space is way too tight it’s impossible it seems I’m stuck
I have this installed and the water pressure is very low and it comes out in a weird pattern. I can’t seem to remove the aerator though. What should I do?
Thank you Tim! I am actually installing two of these guys, I am fighting with the drain pipe it looks to be too long for my P-trap, I might have to get an elbow perhaps? could you please educate me illuminate me with your knowledge please? Thank you in advance and keep up the great American work
@@2tallB I thought that too. But the Moen manual I have doesn't mention where to put the putty for the handles. It just mentions to do this for the faucet. For the handles though I put putty around the washers that sit against the sink. I hope that's the right place
For those who are inexperienced, you really should have made mention of plumbers putty on all the necessary pieces. Otherwise really helpful. Thanks.
Thanks. Not sure why the video doesn't show how you got the faucet and handles on.
That’s the only reason I was watching the video 😂
Thank you for the run down dude!
You’ve probably helped SOOO MANY people with this video!
You are a saint 🙏🏻

You didn’t need to use a sealant when placing the valves and shank to the sink?
Thanks Tim nice video ,Frank from Franks fix it services in St. Pete Florida.
Good install video, Tim.
Can you follow up with the removal of the handles, for cartridge replacement and aerator removal to clean it?

How do you get two wrenches when the sink is in place lol. Barely any room lol.
You have to use a basin wrench. A regular wrench or channel locks can't fit
Excellent video, thank you. Very helpful.

Nice integrated overflow drainage. Top quality stuff.
Good video Tim, Have a good Sunday!
Did it come with the shut off valves too? What’s the size on both ends

Where you able to fix that problem. Having the same problem with mines
Yea, but how would I connect 3/8 inch copper supply lines to those 3/4 inch fittings?
My handles are shaky anytime I adjust them to be straight like yours.. when I put them in and their not straight no shake. Do you know what it could be?
Excellent video. Very helpful.
You don't show how to make the handles tight and steady straight!!!
That was a really good help!!!
Thanks a lot to you sir!!!!
You cut out the part I needed to see. Knob install
Nice video, but you left out how to install the handles and spout.
Thanks Tim That is an awesome video for the do-it yourself er !!
You omitted the part about how to hook up the pop up mechanism for the drain....which is the part I can't figure out.

I know this comment is from a while ago, I'm having the same issue. Did you ever find a fix?
@@brandonevensen1049 yes the issue was solved only after I contacted Moen. They were great. Sent me new parts and everything.
@@aa-fh4fh thanks for the reply, what ended up having to be replaced?

Did you end using a saw to shorten the drain pipe? Be sure to debur the plastic, or hair will snag on the sharp bits.
The quality between a big name like moen and random China facuets found on amazon or eBay is night and day
Can you please tell me the measurements of the hole that you cut in the countertop please?????
Honestly, you helped me too much
Why are my hot and cold not tight on top of sink??
Wonderful
Thanks for watching
No plumber putty needed ?
Yes, every piece mounted on the vanity would have putty on the topside. As per instructions.
