it is cool !!! greetings from Argentina
What made you chose the x-carve over say the shapoko ?
Great, Glen... Thanks for this!
DIY Creators how much is the cnc machine?
DIY Creators you are amazing.. an inspiration
Nice trick with the vacuum and the string! Great video.
Thank you
Blew my damn mind.
so good, literally mouthed 'gtfo'
True...
for sure, nice tip.
string + vacuum = GENIUS
I really like that. Small, simple, and elegant. Walnut and cherry always look good together.
As other people have said, the trick with the string and vacuum is genius. It's the sneaky little tips that make videos so much more helpful on top of the actual builds.
For future CNC cutouts, if you don't want to screw into the back of the wood to secure it to the scrap, you can use double sided tape, works just as well and you don't have to worry about holes if you aren't planning on cutting off the scrap like you do on this project
Vacuum idea was the MVP of this video Glen! Great video and the walnut looks unbelievable!
Can't wait to see you do some more with that CNC! I really love watching those things go to work.
And props on the string vac, I'm gonna keep that in mind!
Great video, the string and vacuum trick was mind blowing!
Thank you it's a good one to have in the back pocket.
brilliant idea! i never would have thought of that!
This is the most educative DIY channel ever. Thanks bro for the amazing content.
That vacuum-string trick is cool!
your technique for pulling the string through, blew me away! So clever
You have a great mentality for this kinda stuff, keep going with it.
I think one of my favorite parts of your videos is your cinematography on top of how relaxed and chill they are. Great project keep it up!
Thank you, I want to insert more of that in the future.
COOL vacuum idea.
Every video you do makes me feel like I'm watching an episode of "I Want That"! Great work and thanks for sharing!
Finally a TH-camr who knows how to make an add. I’m sure it made the sponsor happy, and it didn’t ruin any part of the video or make me have to skip a bunch
Great build Glen!
Love your designs on all your builds. Definitely hits the mark on a Modern Clean Look.
look forward to seeing more of your vids.
cheers
“For the record, that was part of my intention from the start. IT WAS” 😂 Great DIY video! Every one of your videos are crazy creative.
Always killing it! I usually like natural danish oil when working with walnut.
Love your work. Love how you always incorporate carpentry and electric in all your offerings.
I’m really impressed with this project. The vacuum and the string was a great idea. Keep up the great work. I really enjoy watching your projects
Thank you
Vaccum - string tip... Priceless!!!! Thank you!!!
I know a lot of viewers have already said it but that was genius with the vacuum and the string! Thanks for all the great videos.
Beautiful design. Thanks Glen! I can’t wait to get out my Router and make something too!
Being newer at CNC it was smart to start with a smaller simpler project so you can learn. This will give you the needed experience to be able to tackle more complex projects down the road. Great job troubleshooting your mistake while saving the project at the same time. Great channel btw, really like it a lot.
Great first CNC project! I love the string trick you used to feed those lights, good job buddy! 🤓👍
Awesome first CNC project, it turned out great! Love the final look, and the vacuum string trick :D
Looks great! Such a simple piece but functional and beautiful! Nice choice on the woods too 👍👍
This is an incredibly beautiful work. Thank you!
Thank you for showing a mistake and how you fixed it. This is one of the most important ways to learn.
I am french and I think your job must be share to many peoples more ! It's beautiful !
Beautiful Lamp Glen! Thanks for the string and vac trick! Glad to see you dip your feet in the CNC Pool Buddy! Have A Super Week!.....Gus
Awesome! Nice project
Thanks Mike!
Awesome video! Hitting the bowl portion up with a Core Box bit can give you a nice smooth radiused bottom to look more bowl like and is a great finishing touch. I hope that can help you in future projects, I love the videos, definitely one of the best channels on TH-cam right now.
I need to build this, really need something dedicated to holding my card holder, keys and other stuff in my pockets.
And that glue spreader is dope!
I like the vacuum idea.
Yeah, that was freaking brilliant. I'm kicking myself for not having thought of that. Definitely gonna be using that a lot, thanks.
Yes
These videos are so interesting. I'd like to make note that he says "axle" instead of "axis".... But he creates and shows a deep understanding of how this all works. Just goes to show, you shouldn't get too caught up in semantics, even though "axis" would be the correct term
Got addicted to your projects. Never to late to learn but your are a great inspiration to me. God bless.
Dang dude. Ain’t nothin you can’t do. Killing it. Great beginning CNC project.
One more vid on the way to One mil.
Cheers Legend and Can't wait til you get to 1M.
