Sorry, I didn't show this lamp with the lights off 😑. I'm not sure how I forgot to include it even though I filmed it. I will share it on social media on my social channels. Here is a link to see the lamp in the dark bit.ly/3jYuSQM
Really cool lamp project, I might make one for myself. You should try top use mold release (or cooking spray if your feeling lazy) before the epoxy, the mold comes off much easier.
@@Prabhlematic dish soap
Thanks great job. Looks like a fun build. Looking forward to do one myself.
Thanks for sharing the "in the dark" view lol. I was JUST wondering what it looked like
Bro, this lamp is sick. Nicely done man 👍
That is the best use of resin I have seen yet. The ubiquitous "river tables" leave me a little cold. Too contrived and artificially trendy, but this lamp knocks it out of the park 👍
Agree
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words.
My thoughts exactly
Hear hear!

Elegant design and I like the proportions.
Well done, as usual!
I could see having a few of these with different colors set out in a backyard/around a deck as accent lights.
Thanks for sharing this with us!
WELL DONE GLEN! You are so inspiring! 🎉Keep it up! I don’t know if I could make this lamp but it’s so fun to watch you in action!
Glen, you have an excellent impression of what the proportions of a build should have to look really good in the end!
This is one beautiful Lamp
This lamp is beautiful, great job Glen. Always unique builds.
Thank you for showing your entire creative process. Some of us might be frustrated with making decisions or when things don't work out right away. You model the process quite well.
Another amazing creation Glen I love how this lamp turned out.
Great job! I love how the finished product looks!!!
Wow!! Just found your page while searching dyi for building a room partition (saved that vid in my files for future use in my new place!) then hung around to see how this gorgeous lamp was created. I held my breathe when you poured the epoxy (that blue!!) and when the pour was successful I applauded lol!! Beautiful design, texture and finish! Your channel will be the first stop for all my dyi needs. A true /blue fan!
I've been making resin accent lights for a couple of months. This video was very helpful. Thanks for the links!!
Very well done as usual! You make your builds the way the average DIYer does. Glad you like the opaque but myself I will do a clear coat. Love your videos!
I like it!
Recommendation: the guy at Blacktail always seals the wood with a coat of epoxy first before the big pour to reduce bubbles that escape the wood.
Very cool idea! I have a 'starter kit' of resin waiting in my little woodshop, and this just might be the project to use it for!
Clean and simple. Great video!
You come up with the coolest projects and great "make" videos! Thank you!
Always wanted to do one of these, this really lays out the process clearly. Thanks!
I’m thinking this ranks in top 3 of your projects. Simple but awesome.
Damn, Glen! Now I have yet another project from you that I MUST do!! I like it!!
The lamp turned out great!
So simple! Love it.
Nice choice of wood and resin tint! The results are very pleasing to the eye.
Crazy little lamp 💪🏽
Love it especially, how you broke the pieces.
Thanks I really appreciate the very clear step by step description
Well done. I picked up several useful techniques. I like how you broke up the wood to get an irregular look.
Красивая работа!👍 Прекрасный дизайн. Спасибо за видео!
WOW, WHAT A LOVELY JOB YOU HAVE DONE. I LOVE THIS LAMP, I WILL HAVE TO MAKE IT. X
Omg I want that light… and adorable tiny iron!
Dynamite ! wow! i love that!
GREAT project Glenn. I have been thinking about trying an epoxy project and this just might be the one.
Thanks for listing the components, many times that's a bigger obstacle than making the project itself! !! !!!
Hey Bud, Long time! I think you should give it a try do something small to build some confidence. I am glad I can help with the list!
Very creative and nicely done! It would be good first resin project.
This is great, man... Thank you for the demonstration
Awesome build, great idea!!
Build a pergola post with this light design. That would make a great garden art peace
Nice work! Thanks for the video!
Sweet idea, that's definitely a project I have to try out.
Excellent concept and well executed. It turned out beautiful. Great job!

Hopefully you had a blessed Easter this year. Glenn awesome project. This turned out very well there. Hopefully you get great use out of it for many years to come my friend. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Keep Making. God bless.
Really nice. It would be good to see it in a dark room.
Love your work! Nice job...
Your work and walkthroughs are amazing
Fantastic! Great idea. Great vid!
Clap! Clap! Clap! I like it, I can think of someone on TH-cam here that would have started with a $200 block of wood with rot then spent hours cleaning out the rot to make sure the epoxy stuck. So you saved time, money and I can't see a difference in looks.
That turned out very cool. Great job
You are amazing!! No other word - great job! Thanks for sharing
Oh my gosh this is SSOOO cool! It might be the push I need to learn a few electronics basics. TYFS this! Smiles from the Southern California desert, MK 😁🏜
Too friggin' cool! A PDF of this would be great...
Very cool project. I have seen crafters use polish as the final step in making the epoxy clear. Nice,. clean, design and good use of materials.
yeyy.. a new video..
😃
Love this project.
thanks for the videos , they keep on motivating me to be a better designer

Excellent, I think I want to craft a coffee table this way. I would like to see the legs and top of the coffee table finished using your technique in this video. Thanks for the know-how excellent work!
Thank you, I think that's a great idea! I will give it some thoughts.

That is really cool. Thank you for the video!
That is a clever design. I hope I can have a shot at it this year.
Bro, your content is AMAZING. PLEASE come back and create more videos!!!!
Creating something like this in a minecraft torch style and perhaps battery powered would be a big hit!
Beautiful!
Love it keeping that one my library cheers pal
Love it! Wanted to see it glow in the dark.
Thank you, sorry about that. I forgot to include the footage.
I'm literally only 13 but I still love watching your videos because I love seeing the possibilities that I could do In the future.
nice looking lamp. great video.
As you are dealing with mains electric I would advise using either heatshrink or liquid rubber wire cover to prevent the wires from making contact in future incase of the solder coming loose over time. Its always good practice to get into the habit of covering exposed wire connections
You super talented, keep it up and thanks for sharing, best regards brother from Greece 🇬🇷
Great job Glenn! Glad to be a long-time viewer.
I appreciate you David! You been around from the beginning. Thanks and don't change your profile picture I may lose track.
Thanks for sharing - thumbs up!
Great idea!!!!
Your creativity knows no bounds. Thanks for the ideas and continued content.
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching.
Brilliant way of making the break look epic! =) Great work.
Beautiful work, Glen! Really brilliant idea!!! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks my friend! All is good, I hope you and your family is well.
That's a cool piece. I have a bunch of petrified wood that I've soaked in vinegar to eliminate bubbles. I ordered a bunch of switches, power inputs, and LED bulbs. I was thinking about the tiny LED strands. Maybe another time. I always use Danish Oil and I like to take my auto buffer and use Meguiar's headlight polish on the epoxy. I also like using different glow powders. Good stuff, bro!
Great work!
Nice lamp. I really like your videos. One thing I would of done different was to use mold release so the epoxy would not stick to the white boards you were using.
Nice to see you put out some content. Get scared, when it takes you so long. Hope all is well with you and yours. Take care and stay safe. Will be waiting on the next episode.
Never thought about intentionally using broken materials before! Good inspiration.
Would have loved to have seen the lamp lit in a dark room. Good job!
Brother that is awesome! Simply Awesome! You never fail to deliver.
Hey man great video! I'd love to see a build for a accent/liquor cabinet !
Would've loved to see this lamp on in a darker room. Loved the video!
