    I'm moving out into my first place of my own, made a few things to decorate the place based on all your videos with help of my dad, almost all of my furniture will be hand made, desk, dresser, cabinets, bed.
    i just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving me a hobby and teaching me how to make all this.

      And it's nice that you and your dad were able to do it together.

    I love when you build with a simple selection of tools. Your limited tools series got me started in woodworking 4 years ago. I'm now doing green woodworking, hand tools and some lathe work. I've replaced the table saw I built with a bandsaw, but it got me started. Thank you!

    What i like about these recent videos is that Glen seems to be going back to the type of simple videos he started with. Don't get me wrong, love all the other vids, these types are my favourite though.

    I have to say, the lamp in particular is one of the most creative yet simple ideas I've seen for pallet recycling. I also find that I seem to have the same tastes as you do. I share your idea that "rustic" doesn't mean old, grey pallet wood with dirt on it that you are afraid of getting tetanus from when you touch it, like some people seem to think. Thanks for all the time and enthusiasm you put into your projects and your videos. You inspire a LOT of people.

    For the lamp, if you have some scrap acrylic from a previous project you can sand it frosted and sandwich it in between the 2 planks so that the light from the LEDs is less "in your face" and more diffuse when the lamp faces you.

    • @DIYCreators
      @DIYCreators  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I totally agree, adding the acrylic would defuse the LED strip.

    I’m going to give the lamp idea a go. I think I am going to try a lightly opaque epoxy in the light channel. It may make the light too dim but it’s a fairly inexpensive project so not a big loss if it sucks.

    • @DIYCreators
      @DIYCreators  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you, maybe it was fast, but I covered it. It's was three simple steps to the lamp
      1. Add the LED strip.
      2. Connect the LED to the in-line power switch to one end.
      3. Connect the power adapter to the other end of the power strip.
