"You're not my type, I like a fuller figure"
"Lestat!"
"She's being impossible..."
Lestat was such an a-hole, but a funny one at times LOL
But we love him
By far the most maddening thing about being a child immortal. It's already such a curse, but at least Louis and Lestat were grown enough to where they could easily find love and be respected as adults. Claudia's only choices for love as a physical child was perverts or to be a pervert herself.
Very true. Or in Charlie's case, she could have made him a companion, but because she's stuck in a child's body, she doesn't have the strength or the wherewithal to make a vampire herself.
She'll never know a day of real friendship, love, or intimacy. Now that she's been set apart from the rest of humanity as a predator and stuck in a child's body on top of that. Because nobody takes a child seriously, her only other option is to just be a killer.
Poor Claudia is realizing how this vampire life can be limiting.
That's why I am always on the fence when people ask me if I would allow myself on becoming a vampire. I'm 25 years old, so I do have more advantages than Claudia. However, I would never get the joy of having kids or becoming a grandparent. Aging gracefully with the woman I love. I would be ever stuck as 25, while all of my loved ones aged and died. Not even that but just the whole world moving on without me. Plus being attached as a 25-year-old but having the mind for example of a 70-year-old. So it's yes and no answer for me.
@@lagnese9988 there's always the option of adoption...
That is true, I would have the fear of hurting them though
@@davidalves31057and then you'll watch the children you adopted grow up and die.
If you become a vampire, never ever turn a child or teenagers.
Kirsten Dunst, & Bailey Bass both nailed Claudia and they did a good job playing her.
Now they’re both former Claudia 😒
@@WilliamsPinch Don’t remind me 😢💔
Let's see Delainey hayles performance
@@WilliamsPinchthe new girl is alright but….I miss this one
Nothing will ever top Dunst's performance...she was absolutely perfect.
The out-of-control Frenchness of “the pitch black ocean floooeurrr” 😍 god I love him

That way I laugh when he says You're not my type hahaha
SMH lol
“ShE’S beiNG ImPoSsIblE!”
She has a point, being 14 forever!
Pretty mature looking 14 year old.
@@alycia4668 Yes, but she is a good actress. And I personally don’t want underage people on this show. And I enjoy this show and refused to be a hater! And yes, I read the books and saw the movie. Love the books but hated the movie.
@@ladym05 She's terrible in this. Her makeup looks fake, her voice sounds fake, and she's too mature. They should have gotten a child actress as good as Kristen Dunst. She was amazing, still praised today
@@alycia4668 no she is not! And we are just going to have to agree to disagree.
@@ladym05 Yeah, the whole show is awful to me anyway so she's just part of it. Louis makes me vom. He looks 50.
Poor Claudia, being 14 forever, I cannot imagine what would be like in terms of dating
She's lucky she looks 20 then. 😂
In the book she was 5. Imagine… ugh
That's what the MC of Let Me In had to do. Then they'd grow up and di e on her and she'd just replace them.
“He treats us like s*** and you take it, why is that?!”
I’m sorry but this makes me cackle 😂😂 she’s not wrong lol, but they make a toxic couple together so it goes both ways 🤷🏽♀️
1:15 This fucking guy XD
Souvenirs!!!
He was being rude for no reason
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
This Claudia is much more saucier than Kirsten Dunst's Claudia, I'm ashamed to say.
This is honesty sad. She has the mental thinking of a grown woman but stuck in a 14 year old girl. She will never know the full pleasure a woman is supposed to have. Lestat heavily warned Louis that this would happen to her and Louis did not listen. I know that if vampires were possible, I would never do that to a 14 year old, no matter the case. Thanks for uploading.
In the books Claudia became into a vampire when she was 5 years old. So We have to be really thank for this adaptation.
Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, and Bailey Bass god they are amazing in these roles!!! I still binge watch season 1 to this day I cannot wait for season 2 next year Armand bring a big focal point in the show now
0:02 an accurate depiction of parents (gay and straight) confronting their only child of their wrongdoings
I’m gonna miss Bailey
I died when she called Louie housewife 😂😂😂
For ppl in the comments saying they don't like the show, the actors, the makeup, contacts, and whatnot. Just don't watch the show anymore, problem solved 🤗
Preach 😂
0:14 the accent change 😭
Yes it sounded a bit...Irish? "the ocean floor"
Bailey Bass is forever my Claudia
I feel the same.
If The Vampire Diaries ever get a future reboot can you imagine Bailey portraying Elena & Katherine?
😱😱😱 That would be amazing. Can we start a petition.
I hope that they will be more faithful to the books.
@@dhsf5937 Same. Though they would have to change where Katherine lives along with her last name.

The housewife and the mistake. Jesus christ, Claudia. I love her sm, my tragic love
🥺; Claudia - 'Make me one?!...' (1:43) lol / I don't think Lestat was treating Louis that bad, Yet... But he should be able to date other people too!., on period.😏
This is what am thinking wane he side you wanted her you fix her in my mind inside you turned her you fix her 💀
He said I'll kill her soon. Now did he mean Antoinette or Claudia or both?
Antoinette…
antoinette. I hate antoinette
Lest at has always killed me with her bc he is annoyed from jump street with her existence and this was his validation as far as he is concerned.
I just read that Bailey Bass is being replaced as Claudia for the next season. Delainey Hayes will take the role. Such bad news, enough to ruin this for me.
Why?
Give Delainey a chance. She's a stage actress, so she's bound to have great training.
@@blairlipscomb7378I’m late but maybe she’s grown to to tall? The character has to remain a child. My best guess.

Oh my god they loved her
I thought vampires didn’t have a conscience. Why does she care enough whether a human voluntarily lives her?
In the book, Claudia was 5 years old.
great observation!
@@amieofrain1804 They aged her up here and in the movie because they couldn't cast an actual 5 or 6 year old child to play her. Which really stinks. I bet if they make an anime adaptation of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, they should stick to the book material.
@@jasminnemcdonald94A this adaptation is perfect as it is.
@@amieofrain1804 But the timeline is off. It was supposed to be set in the late 18th century to early and mid 19th century. And Claudia is supposed to be shorter and a little younger.

I've never seen this series but this claudia is very good like Kirsten dunsts!!!! The makeup department did phenomenal on shaping the nose and faces all these guys look and play exactly like the characters from interview with the vampire!!!!! I should give this series a go!!!!!
lol what? Their makeup doesn’t changed their noses and faces. The actors really look like that (minus the contact lenses and fangs)

Idk if the new actress will do her justice

The real Claudia , fuck season 2
Movie title please
But she was taken from them
Whats the name of ths movie
It's a TV Show! Interview with the Vampire (2022) from AMC
Spoiled
I want to say I just realized Lestat gets very concerned she been trying to make other vampires. I strangely enough think he would have helped her make one had she not gone off the rails and started doing what he views as self-harming (which is a trigger for Lestat). I also want to say there are hints given that Louis has in the past blocked Lestat in certain parenting decisions when it came to Claudia that Claudia probably should've had and he took the role of he will be the bad guy for Louis to be her angel. Lestat of course would defer Louis and Lestat is now hurt by the comments Claudia made about him and Louis in her diary. But in clear in her in her earlier entries, Lestat did have affection for her to the point she comments she made things better when Louis and Lestat would argue.
This show is good as hell!!!!!!!!

When and why did they remake this movie?
It's a show, adapted from the books! It's from 2022

This series sucks. I like the 1994 movie infinitly better. This show is cringe.
i dont care
its the adaptation-phobia. i read the shadowhunters book first, thus i couldn't tolerate the movie or series, even though the series was really popular. i read shadow and bone, i can't tolerate the series, most characters are great but the darkling was nothing like i expected it to be. i read carrie, no movie or series could compare to anything stephan king writes. but opposite also works, i watched hannibal tv series at first, and i didn't like the book series as much. yes there are tv shows that transcends the books like handmaids tale or the mind hunter.. but does that mean all the shows i mentioned are bad ? no theyre great. but since i experienced the book/series first my expectations were different while i watched or read the series/book

@@samhead7062 as good as the orginal film and the book?
@@raenae4554 it’s different from them of course, but its unfair to compare them to the book or movie. They took the story and made it into something new. It’s a very intense and weirdly funny story about guilt, loneliness and the desire for love. It’s able to make a twisted but compelling story focusing on the issues of race, loss, death, sexuality, power, selfishness and one’s relationship with faith and those who influence that faith.
It’s able to take the themes of the original and so much more, through the lens of a flawed man who wishes to do good and be loved, but cannot be freed from his guilt, pride, fear or the toxic love he has.
In my opinion: they capture the relationships and the inner demons each character has in this one better. But that’s me.
@@samhead7062 wait what about vampirism and the connection due to being sired and the bond of blood itself and the selfish greed and lust for blood and all those instincts and tendencies these characters aren't portrayed as having human traits they lost that thry are the creatures they have turned into so I don't no where sexuality and race and religion come jnto it it's like a woke version of interview yes lestat loved louis but through his connection of power and dominace and control of blood him being louis sire and louis loneliness came from losing his child and wife in the movie or brother in the book
