Yes I definitely agree. I feel like Nintendo should give this style another shot they were able to give the exploration feeling while also being linear and the combat is fun. It’s a game you need to learn
Proud to state that I officially don't suck! Beat this when I was a kid (Age 8) the summer after it came out, finishing in the middle of the night without getting a Game Over, one life remaining. One of the most memorable moments of my gaming youth. Now I can beat it deathless without much problem. Love this game, an underappreciated classic in my opinion.
Nice job! Thank you for sharing that story that’s awesome. Yes this game is truly under appreciated and I hope one day we get another Zelda game similar to this(unlikely) and it’s a great game when you know how to beat it without constantly restarting from the beginning haha
That's a pretty great job. I never got to beat this one until save states and looking up how to get that last magic that gives you access to somewhere(idk how I was gonna figure it out myself)
Oh and error and bagu are brothers. Same sprite almost, they refer to each other, and the pun is supposed to be "error and bug" but mistranslation made him bagu effectively confusing millions
I always grind in parapa palace on the bubbles. They take a while to beat, but they give you 50 experience points each and once you level up your strength 1 or 2 times you could take em out fast you could get all three of your stats up to level two or three by the time you're done with that palace with like less than an hour's work and maximize that auto level up when you place the jewel
Blue Iron Knuckles are easy to fight. They alternate between a nornal and frenzied attack state. When you land a hit on them, they will go into a frenzied attack state where they throw knives like crazy. After a while, they revert back to their normal attack state. So just do this pattern: attack, dodge the attack frenzy until they revert to normal behavior, then attack again, etc. This doesn't apply to the mounted Blue Iron Knuckle boss. His behavior is unique, but he's not that hard anyway.
@@Imgoodurbadd you can't hurt gannon without a sword, the magic wand does not work. Other than that you can do everything else. It's insane until you get the wand and then it just feels like normal zelda
Shit is funny as hell dude. I saw the Ninja Gaiden one first and then watched everything. I wonder how old you are bc you say you weren't there for these games. I'm 35 and I have a brother who's 49 and I had his NES when I was a little kid. I even remember renting Mega Man games from Blockbuster, etc. Castlevania was impossible. Zelda 2 was retarded too. Yeah go through the wall duh. So I think we think these games are hard as fuck when we're dumb 5 year olds (without the internet originally) and then we fuck around again when we're 14 but we just confirm our bias because we don't actually think we can beat it so we don't try new moves or strategies. Then the shit becomes impossible forever in our minds. Anyway you're really funny man keep it up. Just do whatever you want, whatever you feel like because your sense of humor will translate to whatever it is.
Thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it and thank you for sharing your experience. Sounds like fun times. I enjoyed going to blockbuster to rent Wii and GameCube titles before they sadly closed. I definitely have more games I would like cover so stick around for those!
You gonna get mad subs, these vids are perfect
I really appreciate the kind words. I just love those games and tried to put a unique perspective on them.
I always felt Zelda 2 was underrated/overhated

I always love the nes zeldas and a link to the past the most.
It is.
I love the secret side quest of Link hooking up with every single random woman in Hyrule.
Yeah he even getting love from the grannies
wildly underrated channel.
Thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it!

Yeah that’s a fun fact.

I manage to get level 4 attack in parapa palace without grinding but I have to get lucky with the 200 xp bag otherwise I’m subject to grind a bit
thank you
You’re welcome
Great video
Thanks so much. I appreciate the kind words

Yeah I kind of just equip shield spell and get aggro. I usually have high enough attack to mitigate it
10:44 "once you grab the key in there" with no explanation in how to survive that ambush.
I did say use shield spell but that room I just dig my way out to the left and time the blocks on those lion heads not much else to say
@@Imgoodurbadd true, I was being dramatic because that looked like a world of pain.(I haven't played in a while)
Epic video
Thank you I think it is also
You forgot one crucial detail for beating Parapa Palace...
YOU GOTTA BELIEVE!
It just works
At 3:10 of the "Jose Canseco" song by Westside Gunn, Stove God Cooks said this about your video titles-
I came here just to say that especially about this game.
Bet
Zelda 1's easier, you can beat 99% of it without ever getting a sword
What’s the 1% you can’t beat without it? I forgor or it’s a meme?
@@Imgoodurbadd you can't hurt gannon without a sword, the magic wand does not work. Other than that you can do everything else. It's insane until you get the wand and then it just feels like normal zelda
Interesting I actually forgot about that. Shows I played Zelda 1 only like twice normal game and master quest lol
I was about to ask what the music for wide diarrhoea is, but then I remembered the wide Fern from Frieren meme.
If you’re referring to wide iron knuckle all I know is the wide Putin music
@@Imgoodurbadd yeah, Iron Knucklehead was too wide to recognise
I tried but I guess it didn’t come out too good. Hopefully I can improve if I ever do another wide meme haha
@@Imgoodurbadd No worries. It fulfilled its function.
do i have Castlevania open in the background xD
I hope it’s not castlevania 64 xd
W content
Thanks so much. Appreciate it

God I hate this humor so much.
Putting in FUNNY MOVIE CLIP doesn't make you a funny person.
