      @@grind-it-out yes. your videos are more clear then others and with your dash of humor - appreciated. Helped with an air filter issue I had after the dealership. Maybe I will get the courage to change my oil on the next go round...lots of steps and equipment to buy at Harbor Freight. At least I know where the oil filter is now!

      Yes it’s not difficult. Just take your time. If you get in a hurry you can make mistakes. If you have any questions through the process you can comment and I’ll be sure to respond. Oil changes become easy after a couple times. It’s the first couple times that you build confidence. Hey, thanks again. Appreciate the feedback 👍🏼

      @@grind-it-out first time jitters...but have done pollen/cabin filter, battery, wipers, and today checked the new air filter they put in. Next time K&N! If I had known it was so easy I would not have paid for dealer to do it. And they didn't fully seat the hose....spotted that when I got home. Paid for spark plugs replacement even though I watched the video earlier. Looked a little too involved/time consuming for my current situation. Harder to be motivated with no garage (Underground only) and colder climate!

    Sick vid, hope that liquid moly lubes up those pistons.

    Got a 2016 Passat with intake I love it. I wanna get a golf GTI next any opinions or things I should know?

    • @grind-it-out
      @grind-it-out  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No suggestions but GTI is a cool car. I’d prefer a Golf R but hey I’m stuck with the Passat for awhile. Thanks for the comment and keep on modding your car. It’s fun. After all it’s Passat lol.

    I’ve got a 2016 Passat as well and have been using 5W30 but have noticed that it’s been burning through the oil. Will the 5W40 help with not burning through it?

    • @grind-it-out
      @grind-it-out  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not necessarily. They all burn oil. Mine burns about 1 quart each oil change. Just the nature of these engines. If you are in hot weather I’d use 5w40 I’m in Texas so that’s what I use.

    • @jaydubs952
      @jaydubs952 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@grind-it-out Awesome! I live in Texas as well so I’ll probably be making the switch to 5W40 then. Thanks!

    • @grind-it-out
      @grind-it-out  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @jaydubs952 The Heat of Texas thins out your oil so a heavier oil is better. The owners manual even states it.

    Can you do a video on coolant replacement? I also got a 2016 passat. Nice video.

    • @grind-it-out
      @grind-it-out  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thank you for watching. Actually I recently had my coolant replaced. I should’ve made a video on it. But a mechanic did it for me. I usually do things myself but he did it for me for cheap. Sorry about that. Thanks again 👍🏼

    Anyone know how to put transmission oil into a 2022 VW Passat. I accidentally emptied the transmission oil vs the engine oil:(

    • @grind-it-out
      @grind-it-out  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ohh my …. Well I’d recommend taking it in to get transmission service. Especially a 2022. They will flush it and do everything

    I honest to God love your presentation, but I really get annoyed by the guy who is laughing in the background that is so unprofessional
