Hey Dan , I got a question and was looking exactly from ur perspective answer if u dont mind to share with us ur thoughts on How to pitch your startup idea in 3 minutes to the investor ? and where do you find investors ?
If clients say it's too expensive, show them the VALUE that you're able to bring. Customers are always looking for VALUE. If you're able to bring value with your high prices, the customers will come.
Dan you're really one of the smartest persons ever , you successfully selling us nothing .. and we are still buying ,i think the right job for you to be an actor , you will be great
@@rayray9448 fooling naive folks became an art in our century , that really how millions are made ,big Brands names uses the same technique in different way
This highly depends on the product you are selling. If you’re selling a product that is very comparable and transparent then you can’t overcharge for something nobody wants. If you sell cheap make sure you buy cheapest for the quality you get. It’s nice to have high margin business but not every business is built that way.
The problem is everybody thinks they are best and use the same standard lingo. As a customer myself I get to hear these standard one liners from my vendors. This won't work,. You truly have to have a product that's bespoke to customer needs and price it just aptly. Model your pricing. You can overcharge your customer once. Or charge just right for life long. Decide who are you loosing.
Hi Mr Dan Lok, I greatly appreciate this great tip. I have been struggling to make sales with my product but to no avail. Now I know what to do next. Thanks so very much, chatting from CAMEROON.
if it really does the same thing you're in a tough spot. however, you could try to convince the client the alternative product doesn't have the same service support. but i'm going to stick with your example and not make additional assumptions. you'd probably have to lower your price if the product is exactly the same and both firms have similar reputations and service plans. it's rare for both firms to have similar reputations and trust. it's like saying Linux does the same thing as Microsoft Windows except it's way cheaper. But Linux doesn't have the 24/7 support and an army of technical people to get your computer system back up and running when things go bad, and they will go bad.
I met a bump running his hvac business with his dog in his truck running calls at a supply store. He's 59 and takes pride in being the cheapest and slandering all other business owners as deceitful. He takes pleasure out of it.
Hey Dan. Can you please please make a video of when client ask "Where did you got my number from?" We usually dnt want to tell where we got the number from. How do we answer this question in the beggening of the call? Appreciate your help. Thanks!
It works in some environments This line doesn't work well in others A skilled negotiator on the other side will have researched or done the homework on similar products/services and an experienced one would know you do not hold the chips especially if you are starting out....others will create different ploys and promises to get you to go down on your price and when you have sales targets and pressures as well as some ambiguity in the way a company wants you to sell (example purely focused on volume) getting a discount for a bulk order may not be a bad idea. Yet others have some inside information on your pricing etc. That can be used to push you on the backfoot Some clients are outright combative, especially if your product isn't established or highly niche but with limited utility (worked for an electronics company manufacturing some of those products) In the end l, these snippets are no substitute for real experience and some hit and try, because you cannot become a Dan or Grant (assuming they are what they portray, which any good salesman knows has a good chance of some exaggeration) by listening to them on you tube
Hey Dan. I have been following your work for a couple of month and I just LOVE THE WAY YOU DO EVERYTHING ❤️. I just have a question ❗ about copywriting, different people gives different opinion on a sales letter. what should i do?? how should i listen ? please help me SIFU😭😭❤️❤️
Sir! Dan Lok First thanks alot for sharing ideas. second I want to establish a course for English learners ( I live in Kabul Afghanistan) but I can´t influence anyone to fund or invest in my idea. I want to get advice from you that, what should I do?
I think as long as you use first principles thinking you can be the cheapest and the best, although if your price is still too high for some clients your arguments presented here are awesome :)
he's giving novice pricing information. i'm going to assume he's talking business to business sales. retail sales is a different subject. price theory of economics tells us each buyer/market as different price sensitivities and your job is to figure out the customers price sensitivity and change the price to the upper limit of what the customer is willing to pay. is this easy? no. and you risk losing the sale if you price too high. there's no one price fits all for business to business sales. this guy is entertaining I'll give him that. i especially love his brash goofy broken English. Don't change a thing.
@Dan Lok How can we change the mentality, we don't care about quality, we need the cheapest. Mr Prospect have fixed budget in mind, even if I sell them cheapest, I have no profit to take. Question No.1 Do we sell product to Mr. prospect or Cancel The Deal? Question No.2 Do we have any option to Tackle stubborn Clients like Mr.Prospect to get our best products?
Thanks for the exceptional education Dan. What do you do if you close sales well but clients would say they would make a payment but then disappear even tho the deal was well closed?
Sir Dan is a really difference between net worth and income? Is that the same thing... You earn your money and becomes net worth or is it different than I thought.. tnx for answering if you had time to answer.. thx for time..

If you don’t value yourself, then other people will value you and usually for a price a lot lower than you should be valued. Great video Dan!

He's giving advice you'd see on Jerry Springer's final thoughts segment.
*Silence is sometimes the best answer!!*
I've had 3 prospects tell me that my prices are too large - I am taking it as a compliment after watching your video. Thanks Dan!
Quality costs more. U get what U pay for.
If I ask the customer why do you think it is expensive, they would say because you want to rip ppl off 🤷♀️
no wonder why people call you
" King Of Closing "

Dan Is Brilliant
So true one of my favorite coaches!!! Thank you Dan!
Thank you ❤️😊 so much Sir for sharing this Knowledge...
Some people say to me I want the cheapest...
But what if you lose that reliable customer that you had for years found someone does the same thing for cheaper?

Thanks Dan, the keyword is "exceptional" and you emphasized it. I think people who are against this, didn't get the context.
