So, did you relieve the fuel pressure before doing this? My Haynes manual says it does, and the backseat of my hatchback must be removed to disconnect the electrical connector from the fuel pump.
This is exact same year as my own car minus the remnants of rodents. i am thinking of doing attempting this, but thinking of cleaning the injectors in a ultrasonic cleaner. i noticed some comments about recallibration of the injectors. This was very informative and I followed to the T. Now...question...have you run into problem of after getting back together car won't crank or start and engine light flashes 8 times and goes solid. Car started and ran perfectly before replacing pcv valve, hose and intake gaskets.
It’s probably a waste of time in my situation but my mechanic seems to think that the infamous P0421 code for the Catalytic converter warmup efficiency could potentially be solved by cleaning the fuel injectors… I’m going to do it anyway as it was something I hadn’t tried before. I’m sure there are examples of blockages etc

I have are problem with tow injector spray and to is not spray
Would this guide be the same for a 2008 mazda 6i 2.3l? The engine and layout is similar.
And the important part of priming the fuel rail is missing???
Was that what they skipped at 1:47?
More important what is injector type as I want to rebuild them
make sure you replace the orings, will cause your mazda to lose fuel pressure i.e you have to apply gas to start your car after it stalls.
