You even added stuff i didn't know about. probably i would have asked for images to show the stuff being talked about but hey, it's a long video so i get it, for my little expetience editing videos i know it's quite a hassle to edit something so long. Also, yeah, the MGS4 Altaïr thing is just filler, felt that the first tier was kinda empty and couldn't think about much stuff for it.

No actually it first was a april's fool joke video done by one of AC's producers. Then Kojima liked it and Ubisoft & Konami attended a collaboration. he said that to obtain it you need to do something special! Later it was revealed that you should obtain Assassin Emblem (and also you could be a boring guy and enter a password in extras menu) to get the costume. The emblem is the actual easter egg!
When I saw reda in Valhalla, as a very lore sensitive person, I just came up with the idea that sometimes the animus had a hard time unloading previous memories because Layla previously made mods to her animus. Reda being the primary example of an aspect of a memory failing to be unloaded.
@@Shaker_YT another example of this theory is that at the end of odyssey when the time lapse of Egypt happens, it shows the pyramids despite the pyramids not existing during the span of time the time lapse takes place. It’s the animus trying to use previous memories to fill in the gaps but improperly doing so.

Fun fact: In the DLC where you play as Odin, you are an ISU (thus as tall as one)... That means the dwarves in the DLC are actually humans. :P
I don't think any of the assassins' bodies were buried in Monteriggioni's sanctuary because Altair's statue is there. Because of Revelations, we know his body is all the way over in Masyaf, so it's probably a similar case with Amunet.
The statues and tombs are two different things. All of the statues are in the sanctuary, but the tombs are scattered all over Italy. The tombs are the places where you get the seals from, which you then bring back to the sanctuary. Amunet already has a tomb in ac2 though.

One of the unknown facts you kinda half mentioned is Ezio’s bastard. I didn’t learn this until a couple months ago so I don’t know if it is well known but the way that Subject 16 is related to Ezio is through a bastard child of Ezio. It is never mentioned who Ezio had the child with but it is implied that Ezio never found out about the child and that he had it very early on before the end of the second game. The reason Subject 16 could only see a little of Ezios story is because once the next descendant is born the animus moves on to the next person in the bloodline.

As a fan of transformers, I can’t tell you how much it doesn’t matter that the company says something is canon when it clearly violates canon. So for me no the movie is not canon and there is no reason for it to be. It’s its own entity. Also the man Jesus did exist. Whether the biblical representation is correct regardless, the man Jesus of Nazareth did exist and was crucified.

The red highlighted assassin was a thing in the PS3 version before a later update. I remember this because I didn’t have internet when I was a kid and played the base version with that red assassin.
As for eagle sense, in project legacy we can see that the characters see it the same way as the player. As an aura around things related to a sixth sense the isu has. Initiates was in universe you belonged to Erudito. Massive lore dumps, objectives you could do in game that had further lore tidbits. Real shame it wasn't preserved somehow. As for magic, it is mentioned in 3 that the Isi discovered that if enough humans were to believe in something strongly, it would manifest. They tried using it for the catastrophe but were unable to come up with a good way to enthrall enough humans with the belief "Keep us safe"
On the issue of why abstergo didn't use ezio over altaïr with altaïr, they were able to pick up on his life mid assassination mission as he was a full adult and then follow him over what was only a few months. Whereas with ezio, they had to start with his literal birth. Check back in with him when he was a teenager. And then follow him over the course of 30 years.
Keeping in line with the series' tradition that any object that was used in any significant historical event is an Isu artifact. Just like how Assassins and Templars were involved in every war and revolution throughout all mankind apparently.
the whole ubisoft shared universe thing makes a lot more sense when you consider that in watch dogs legion there was a story dlc with an assassin looking for the shroud

Great iceberg. Just a theory for one of the last items. It's easier to say the games are canon adjacent as it is a user reliving the memories but with their own will. So far as I can tell it's not just a rollercoaster ride, the user has some degree of input. So that can make times and places and events canon, but the user chooses what order to experience them in. The animus only corrects a user if they stray too far from the original experiences, and for example dies, or kills civilians etc. And so so many leaps of faith. The books on the other hand are all passive experiences I guess, so 100% canon.

I like how the early games are basically reminding you to put your game down and walk around IRL once in awhile so you stay healthy. If Desmond doesn't leave animus, not only will he get hallucinations, but his limbs will atrophy.
The Assassins Creed Series is Great, actually it is beyond great. It is memorizing and controversial but fantastic with exceptional storytelling and concept. Only true Fans can understand this.
They keep saying it not Canon but origins has Aidan killing the dude from ac4. They even spent the next 2 games ,unity, syndicate modern day to bring up that he dissapeared in Chicago, where he is contacted by the order and he then chases him down and guns him down on a bridge per ac origins laptop.
The movie is most definitely cannon thanks to origins for confirming,and also discovery witch takes place around the same time with Ezio in Spain is also very much still cannon too
It could have also overloaded the animus, especially considering how much more invasive it was. I imagine it not only tried syncing with subject's 0 DNA, but that of the child's father, which I doubt would have worked out fine in a non-pregnant person.

Reda is a human Isu hybrid. This is supported by the fact he lacks Isu tattoos, but is also present in The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion; which is a, albeit Nordic, representation of The ISU Odin's memories. Reda must be a one of the first human Isu hybrids to have been around at the time of the Aesir ISU. This would explain his aging - or lack there of. ISU live for an incredible amount of time, as shown by Hermes Trismegistus physically handing down his staff to Pythagoras 100 or so isu years before Odyseey. This would've been almost 77,450 years after the great catastrophe given that the Isu lived in 78,000 BCE and Pythagoras lived around 550 BCE. He did however possess the staff of Hermes, extending his lifespan..so it is currently unknown how long they can live without it. Perhaps Reda also has access to a similar piece of Eden

I was born in the same year the first game came out. My brother is 7 years older than me. One of my earliest memories of life was sitting with my brother in his room watching him play assassin’s creed. He is now in rehab for drug use. Some of my best memories with my brother were made from this game. I hope Ubisoft doesn’t fuck this up.

Same here with Origins. I played some of AC3, some of AC 4, some of the one in France, some of Revelations. I think Brotherhood was the last one I actually finished, and really wish they would bring back that dial an assassin gameplay. While I haven't finished origins yet, I'm close, and will play it all the way. through. I thought the level restrictions would be a pain but the story flows naturally and I never feel level gated. It's just a linear story with extra steps.

Reda does not exist for the player because they could very easily make a new merchant character without creating plot holes and the theory reda is a title seems illegitimate because that means his "family" travelled to Egypt and he lies about his family origins and there are to many similarities between Origins Reda and Valhalla Reda but I strongly believe the feathers around his neck have something to do with his unaging immortality and his camel is also mysterious and I believe his camel has more than meets the eye
Reda is present in Dawn of Ragnarok where you play as Odin. They even talk about Reda being a former student of Loki and Reda says he has learned things even Loki doesn't know (hinting at Immortality). Reda is an ISU.

See I get the sentiment, but what you are saying can be compared to me saying that a pizza is good because its more like a soup. AC has a formula, a formula not followed by the RPG trilogy, furthermore for RPGs they are pretty shotty. If you in particular enjoyed them, fair enough, but that does not mean they are good
I have had the misfortune to play the first four games after I have played all the others and my God, they have aged poorly. I have played them on PC and the parkour is laughably bad, I'm sure they were awesome 15 years ago, but they are absolute trash now. If they weren't all four of them for 10.00 EUR I would have never spent any money on them. Honestly, if you don't have nostalgia for those games don't even touch them.
The Parkour in the first four games is less flashy, but it's also the most intuitive and responsive. With certain notaboe exceptions such as shipmasts in Revelations, it's always your fault if it's not working. I get mad at it too, but I eventually realized I don't actually hold the thumbstick in the direction I think I'm holding it. Like I'll THINK I'm holding straight down, but I'm actually pulling down and left because of where the stick is positioned on the xbox controller, and what feel comfortable and like down is actually down and right.

Yeah, Amunet's mummy is in the same place as Bayek's, as shown in AC Origins.

Iirc, the crossbow thing, they later found out that crossbows could have been used in that time so it turned out to not be historically accurate.

Just a theory for one of the last items.
It's easier to say the games are canon adjacent as it is a user reliving the memories but with their own will. So far as I can tell it's not just a rollercoaster ride, the user has some degree of input. So that can make times and places and events canon, but the user chooses what order to experience them in. The animus only corrects a user if they stray too far from the original experiences, and for example dies, or kills civilians etc. And so so many leaps of faith.
The books on the other hand are all passive experiences I guess, so 100% canon.

Honestly at the making of the video I didn't know about it and at that time WD was meant to be easter egg connections, but now they went full way.
They keep saying it not Canon but origins has Aidan killing the dude from ac4. They even spent the next 2 games ,unity, syndicate modern day to bring up that he dissapeared in Chicago, where he is contacted by the order and he then chases him down and guns him down on a bridge per ac origins laptop.
The movie is most definitely cannon thanks to origins for confirming,and also discovery witch takes place around the same time with Ezio in Spain is also very much still cannon too
The movie was always canon. Even on its release, Aguilar is referenced in one of the games if I recall correctly.

It could have also overloaded the animus, especially considering how much more invasive it was. I imagine it not only tried syncing with subject's 0 DNA, but that of the child's father, which I doubt would have worked out fine in a non-pregnant person.

This is supported by the fact he lacks Isu tattoos, but is also present in The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion; which is a, albeit Nordic, representation of The ISU Odin's memories. Reda must be a one of the first human Isu hybrids to have been around at the time of the Aesir ISU. This would explain his aging - or lack there of. ISU live for an incredible amount of time, as shown by Hermes Trismegistus physically handing down his staff to Pythagoras 100 or so isu years before Odyseey. This would've been almost 77,450 years after the great catastrophe given that the Isu lived in 78,000 BCE and Pythagoras lived around 550 BCE. He did however possess the staff of Hermes, extending his lifespan..so it is currently unknown how long they can live without it. Perhaps Reda also has access to a similar piece of Eden

Funnily enough, it's a contemporary Arabic name. It doesn't make sense in the context of the game's setting. A similar thing happens occasionally in other works of fiction (An example off the top of my head would be Yu-Gi-Oh's Kareem).
Not only would Arabic was not used in Egypt at the time, but these words weren't even used as given names as far as I know.
The given name Reda is derived from the noun Reda which means "To be content/ satisfied with something". It is a unisex name. And unlike many unisex names in Arabic (and other languages), it's not strongly associated with one sex over the other. (How, for example, the name Florence can be given to a boy, but people poke fun at it for being girly.)

I was born in the same year the first game came out. My brother is 7 years older than me. One of my earliest memories of life was sitting with my brother in his room watching him play assassin’s creed. He is now in rehab for drug use. Some of my best memories with my brother were made from this game. I hope Ubisoft doesn’t fuck this up.

I consider Reda a "child" Isu. (A "child" because of Isu longevity, like how a 17 year old human is young whereas a 17 year old dog is old.... also the fact he looks like child).

Personallly I stopped playing and just recently started origins. The best story I may have played ever
Same here with Origins. I played some of AC3, some of AC 4, some of the one in France, some of Revelations. I think Brotherhood was the last one I actually finished, and really wish they would bring back that dial an assassin gameplay. While I haven't finished origins yet, I'm close, and will play it all the way. through.
I thought the level restrictions would be a pain but the story flows naturally and I never feel level gated. It's just a linear story with extra steps.

Reda does not exist for the player because they could very easily make a new merchant character without creating plot holes and the theory reda is a title seems illegitimate because that means his "family" travelled to Egypt and he lies about his family origins and there are to many similarities between Origins Reda and Valhalla Reda but I strongly believe the feathers around his neck have something to do with his unaging immortality and his camel is also mysterious and I believe his camel has more than meets the eye
Reda is present in Dawn of Ragnarok where you play as Odin. They even talk about Reda being a former student of Loki and Reda says he has learned things even Loki doesn't know (hinting at Immortality).
Reda is an ISU.

It’s too much of a grind and it’s so unnecessarily big that I just couldn’t enjoy the game. The other thing I don’t like about it is that it really doesn’t feel like playing assassins creed

See I get the sentiment, but what you are saying can be compared to me saying that a pizza is good because its more like a soup. AC has a formula, a formula not followed by the RPG trilogy, furthermore for RPGs they are pretty shotty. If you in particular enjoyed them, fair enough, but that does not mean they are good

I have had the misfortune to play the first four games after I have played all the others and my God, they have aged poorly. I have played them on PC and the parkour is laughably bad, I'm sure they were awesome 15 years ago, but they are absolute trash now. If they weren't all four of them for 10.00 EUR I would have never spent any money on them. Honestly, if you don't have nostalgia for those games don't even touch them.
The Parkour in the first four games is less flashy, but it's also the most intuitive and responsive.
With certain notaboe exceptions such as shipmasts in Revelations, it's always your fault if it's not working. I get mad at it too, but I eventually realized I don't actually hold the thumbstick in the direction I think I'm holding it.
Like I'll THINK I'm holding straight down, but I'm actually pulling down and left because of where the stick is positioned on the xbox controller, and what feel comfortable and like down is actually down and right.
