- Nessy hatched miraculously in a filthy incubator in a filthy zoo with the worst conditions. Blessed by god with a strong will to live and experience life at its fully, Nessy survived and was raised with the most love, tenderness and care I could offer. May this angel rise and shine, spread its wings and show us what true love is.

...Nessy was taken away from me by excessive police force, wrongfully accusing me for "stealing". He was rightfully given to me because there was no chance for him to survive. Miraculously ♥ I succeeded against all odds. He was like a son to me, I was never told to bring him back, now that I quit they suddenly remembered?! Sweet child of mine, miss you, so worried for you. Hopefully soon we will be reunited. :~(
They're like helpless little aliens as infants, but grow to be the most beautiful birds ever.

Me too. Poor bird ripped from it's companion, high chance of emotional trauma resulting in aggression and or plucking. Something like 80% of cockatoo end up in rescues after only a few years and they can live for decades. This one has a great human and was taken away. Makes me so mad.

Nessy is precious. Made me want to cry. I'm so glad he/she was saved and was able to grow up good and strong. Instead of the police being assholes and taking a sweet little bird like this from a caring man who saved his/her life, they should be going after the management of the filthy zoo that would have let the poor little thing die. People might like going to zoos to see interesting animals, but I think zoos are awful places. Poor animals stuck in cages or small simulated habitats just so humans can gawk at them all day long. Children scream and laugh which scares or annoys the animals. The habitats are often filthy with feces all over the place, and don't get the cleaning they need. You can truly tell that something is missing from the animals. That look in their eyes, like they're hollow shells of the animals they should be. The big cats want to roam and hunt, not be given a chunk of meat a couple of times a day. The elephants want to migrate in herds, large families, not just two or three in some small filthy simulated habitat. Monkeys and apes get so annoyed at people and especially screaming children. Why do people think they throw crap at them? That's the primate way of saying F*CK OFF! Anyway, you mentioned you had to pay for Nessy, so you definitely got him/her back? Because I would hate to think they would end up not giving Nessy back to you and he/she would have to live in an awful place like that and not have your loving care.

She stole a VERY expensive hatchling. Proven breeding pairs of cockatoos are RARE and go for $30,000 and upwards from there if their eggs have a high hatch rate. She quit so she was no longer an employee of the zoo and therefore needed to return all zoo property...including their expensive ass bird. Zoos sell and loan rare animals (this one is a rarer type of cockatoo) in order to pay bills to stay afloat. She should have called those nuts at PETA or the Humane Society or some animal welfare group if the conditions were so bad. And funny she never names the "zoo." And what some people label as horrible to 99% is pristine. You never know unless you lay eyes on it yourself. She never shows us one shred of the "horrible conditions" she stole, I mean "rescued", this bird from!

There was one time that my dad had resued 2 baby parrots from a fallen tree and they looked the same as in the video when they were babies, i miss them.. I really do.. It was my first time raising baby birds since it had been a long time i had any pets. I named them as odi and garfi you guys probably know how i got the names from lol
The smaller one died earlier although we couldn't find what went wrong with him.. Thats odi who died, we even had him take medicine but still didn't work out.. Garfi was with me and i witnessed him grow and he slept in my room with me, i spent time with him...and technically He was with me the whole time, But that was not the kind of a freedom that he wanted ig.. I was studying in my table and Garfi was right there next to me, my mom opened the door just to go out.. And unexpectedly garfi flew out above my head i can still remember 😪😭 without even saying goodbye...
I can still remember the first time i ever saw them, they were like just balls of flesh like in the video and no feathers looked so fragile and i did the best for them as i can... All i wanted was to take care of them,,,
And watching the amazing video above brought back those memories and i still hope that garfi would come back to me one day to bid me farewell and odi will still be in my heart... Both will forever ♥️
And i hope that odi would forgive for being unable to save him...

I too had a green parrot who flew away when my father opened the door. The problem with green parrots is that , even if it loves us a lot, still it's instinct tells it to fly away when it gets a chance. Even if they do not know the way or do not have friends or do not know how to seek for food, they'll still fly away. I too waited and waited for my parrot, but it never came back, I only hoped that it could survive on its own, find a companion and live happily..

I am 18 years old and didn't know that cockatoos hatch without feathers. I just assumed they hatched with feathers like chickens.
Most birds hatch with out feathers,
Chickens (and most all birds) look the same as this at first. You have probably only seen the older ones when they get their "fuzz" and their eyes have opened.
I see nothing but baby fat, pointy needle feathers, and a beak. Ish so cute.
