How could they be so STUPID and mean too not know he would have died without your care. They just couldn't stand the fact that they could see what a beautiful bird it turned out to be and not with their help. Ungrateful mean insensitive people with no concern for animals. It takes a lot of love & dedication to do what you did. You have a good heart. Too many animals are mistreated & abandoned. I took in a 2 days old kitten there were 2 of them behind my sisters shed. She had one & I took the other one. I had my own business & took the little baby with me. A clock & hot water bottle & nice warm bed. Feeding every 2 hrs. Making him go to the toilet by gently massaging his tummy. He was the sweetest little thing & he was thriving. The kitten my sister had died. The vet administered all the necessary shots. He could not believe SHE not HE lol had been hand reared from a couple of days old. Lily grew into a beautiful cat. Loving & full of fun. It was worth all the work put in to hand rear her. So I do know first hand how much goes into hand rearing an animal. But worth it when you see the outcome. God Bless you.
+Pat Pelletier from the description sounds like the zoo he worked at and took the bird from had the police retrieve it.. still can't tell if this happens once or twice.. he mentions it wouldn't have survived which would make you think immediately and then again after these vids were filmed since the description says he hopes they are reunited. and then from comments and future vids it seems he bought it from the zoo after he quit and they got it back and still has it
Beautiful birds these are, highly Intelligent and very affectionate when raised in the proper environment. Because if you put the time and effort into it, these birds will be your friend for life.
