I try not to pull mine until 2-3wks old and let parents feed because they need crop milk and antibodies but sometimes new parents dont do well and sometimes dad picks on chicks or even kills them.
I wonder how can nature ever evolve to be caring by itself. I mean look at that. Beautiful From a vulnerable tiny pink creature To a beautiful bird that can fly and thinks of you as a family. Beautiful.

This just reminds me of the egg I found out on the ground and the mother never came to it so I decided to take it in although I didn’t have the stuff I needed for it I somehow kept it alive and it turned out to be a pigeon but this just brought back so much memories
