That airline info (Miami v Ft Lauderdale one ways) is invaluable!

Thanks for the great tips. We are sailing out of Port Everglades in a couple of months, and will check out the hotels. We currently have a reservation at the Marriott Courtyard Beachfront - not too far from the Hotel Maren. We usually travel to the cruise port two days before our trip to enjoy Fort Lauderdale and the great beach. Merry Christmas!

Very helpful. Our next cruise leaves from this port.

I love sailing out of Port Everglades! We can usually fly Allegiant round trip for around $100 per person out of Lexington, Ky. And my brother in law recently moved there so we no longer have to pay for a hotel 😀

Hey neighbor! I went to undergrad at UK! Allegiant is super weird with their flight schedule out of LEX though.

had a recent great stay at Marriott Fort lauderdale airport. Right at Dania Pointe shopping center. New, quiet, luxury, rooftop pool, huge room, walkable to restaurants and shopping, Bonvoy member lounge access. Shares campus AC Hotel.

Great tips Melissa, I knew some of them others will apply next time. Q: do you have Disney cruise review? …I have not done it, nor have I search in your library of videos. Thanks!

I have not since I mainly sail on casino offers and Disney doesn’t do casinos

Our experience last year at Port Everglades was different. People at the checkpoint and other traffic directors didn't know which terminal we needed. We had a new Uber driver who wasn't familiar. I had missed the terminal number on cruise line info but didn't expect it to be so difficult to find the ship. We ended up at the wrong ship but were able to walk to our ship. Might be an argument for using shuttle from your hotel.

Get Transfers often don't come into the airport at least in Miami. And you have to call customer service trying to find the driver. How do i know? I am a chauffeur and pick up a lot of MIA International pick-ups. And i have many people who come out with a voucher and no driver and i try to help them.

Does the port have a place to hold luggage after we get off of our ship. Our flight home isn't until 7pm. We want to explore the area but don't want to haul around our luggage with us.

I'm confused bc you said Hayatt (#2) had fee shuttle to the cruise port, but then said it's $9/person. Can you please clarify?

You mentioned hotels that have parking and shuttles but I didn’t hear anything about the parking. We are driving in from another part of Florida.

I have several options on my port guide. I can only fit so much content into the video. Where is your port and I’ll link?

I believe you misspoke when you said you priced airport transportation to Port Everglades from FLL on Carnival. I don't believe Carnival currently sails out of Port Everglades.

As a Fort Lauderdale native, hearing you say "Dania" that way is like drinking orange juice right after brushing your teeth-completely wrong and hard to recover from. It’s "DAY-nia," not whatever verbal misstep that was. You gonna do Dania dirty like that? Say it right!

Calm down, butt hurt about a tiny pronunciation difference. I’m sure you are perfect and can pronounce every town in the US properly.😅

If interested in a pronunciation dance battle, might I introduce you to my home state of Kentucky. I will challenge you to correctly pronounce both Louisville and Versailles.
