I have heard about Volvo buses/coaches from a mechanic's point of view and their General consensus is that they are very straightforward and easy to maintain. From most bus drivers perspective they are quality made, most powerful engines and the best for hills/inclines. But you add to that the reliability and the fact they are the most popular make of bus and coaches in the world. I would take a Good quality Volvo over and above anything else every day of the week.
At 7 minutes and 16 seconds it shows the hight of the bus at 10 ft 6 this is to short for a double deck bus so i think you are driving a volvo b7rle due a dubble deck volvo is over 14 foot
great video, great pov, great quality! Also noticed in the bio it mentions double decker? If im right by looking at your mirrors it looks like a single decker? I could be wrong
@@driftlegend5968it a single decker bus is to short in hight at 10ft 6 and that it has the wright logo where the destination board so you were correct
It's just that the steering wheel has been fit a slightly rotated but the actual steering (when I am driving) is fine, it would go straight even if I didn't touch the steering.
Where the wheel get's press-fitted/pulled on the axle that holds it to the steering column there's a large amount of little teeth that help prevent slipping but also help with gripping the axle. On a wheel I have (for an electronics project, a sim-rig) there was 96 of them if I recall correctly. 3,75 degrees doesn't sound like a lot in different steps rotational-range wise, but when fitting a steering wheel it becomes quite obvious. A lot of buses here used to have this same problem as well.
@@randompotatoguy9347 It's just loud enough for the people and cyclists around but not loud enough to people inside the car with windows closed because I can't remember noticing this horns much even though I drive near them often... it depends.

If you look in the mirror at 1:00 you can see it’s a single deck plus the B9TL sounds a lot different than the B7RLE at least in my area anyway
Yeahh you can hear it from the get go its a B7RLE. Looks to be an Eclipse2 going off the reflections of the vehicles in front.
says single decker bus in the description pal
B7RLE my beloved
Me t00
The Volvo buses in London sound wayyyyy more different
Do you plan to drive the double decker variant? Gemini 2 B9TL???

problem with the alignment?.. why do you need to keep your wheel to the right to be able to go stright

most buses its like this, company cannnot be asked to keep fixing it
surely this is dangerous??

why is that handbrake sound like a horn lol.
all volvo buses have this
It's also a safety feature I believe that tiny horn might make people or cyclists aware that you're about to move off
