      here's a few ideas for curing leaky gut
      Eat a whole food, nutrient-rich diet that avoids foods that irritate the gut
      Make sure your digestion is working: You can eat an idea diet, but if you aren’t digesting food appropriately, it is not going to help.
      Find and eliminate underlying food sensitivities - eliminate a suspected food for a period of time
      Discover ways to reduce and eliminate stress:eg Prayer, meditation, moderate exercise, adequate sleep, and regular massage
      Consume gut healing foods and nutrients
      Balance your gut flora by including appropriate amounts of fermented foods in your diet each day.
      Find and remove gastrointestinal infections
      Consider the use of gut-irritating medications:
      Lessen exposure to environmental toxins
      Make sure you have enough sleep and avoid overtraining which are a form of stress to your body.
      (I read these and why they work from Richala Remedy System website )

    The Cod Liver Oil. Omg throwback!! My mom used to make my siblings and I take it when we were younger and I used to hate it and think it was gross, but now I realize it’s so healthy and has so many benefits lol.

    I so appreciate this video for so many reasons. Partly, I am also in Canada ( BC) and so I recognize and can get all of the same brands that you use. Also, I have IBS and so many food videos are vegan and I cannot eat 99% of the foods they eat. Except for a few items, I can eat similar to you. I also appreciate that what you eat is simple and practical and doable. So many food videos have either too many 'different' ingredients or are just too time consuming. Keep making this type of video...I always need inspiration.

    I’m so happy you can now add things back into your diet. However I am also kinda sad because one of the reasons I really enjoyed your food oriented videos is due to the fact that I could always eat everything you cooked with.

      Halle hey, thank you! I’ve been eating a bit of dairy but I don’t plan on sharing super dairy-heavy recipes as I still have a preference for dairy free, if that’s what you’re referring to :)

    Great ideas! I have acid reflux being controlled by diet but the three meals a day are starting to be to heavy for me. Also I need to change things up more so I don’t get food sensitivity’s. Thanks so much.

    I just would like to know if you have gut issues or you just adapted a healthy daily prep meal for your gut? Looks yummy but with my gut issues, I have to stay away from sugar "fructose", seeds and nuts and all kinds of stuff

      Take some sort of vitamin C while taking iron. It helps with the intake. So a spinach and orange smoothie for example

    I feel for you..ibs is ruff..I eat and it's almost like I can see my stomach blow up like a balloon..I've had gallbladder out seems like everything messes with my stomach...good luck on your stomach feeling better

    I stopped having regular coffee, but switched to decaf and still seems too harsh for my gut and sometimes even a trigger for my IBS symptoms. Do you recommend quitting decaf as well and switching to tea?

      orisings I know, maybe not ideal, but I just broiled it for about 5 minutes. We don’t have a toaster and I don’t buy bread/make toast often enough for me to justify getting one. 🤷🏼‍♀️

      I use oven sometimes or air fryer. I dont like toaster if I want melted sandwich. I like PBJ in oven 4 few minutes 2 have it crunchy and sooo good.

    I've tried a couple of brands of organic bread, I didn't like them. Could you or any of your subscribers recermend any I could try? I live in uk. I've drank probiotic yougart drinks every morning for years, are they as good as a probiotic vitamin/tablet?

    Oh my gosh I just bursted out laughing lol I live in the GTA as well and take the exact same cod oil, probiotics and even eat the same brand of kimchi. That was great to see my diet is pretty gut friendly. Nice video :)

    I’ve never seen the liquid form of vitamin D! Would you say that it’s better to take it that way? I’ve been taking a gel capsule. Thanks!

      Gel capsules are fine too! I prefer liquid over pills if the option is available. As long as you choose gelcap over tablet for Vitamin D (since it's fat soluble) then that's great!

      The liquid form is really nice if you are encouraged by your doctor to take a large dose. My doctor asked me to take between 5-10,000 IU a day for my MS. That’s only 5-10 drops instead of 5-10 pills- so much easier. But do what’s best for you.

      IBS is very multifactorial. Stress is certainly one of many components that can lead to its development.
