Yeh I agree with the other comments, someone like Flatwell - who's already leading the RLF - would be most suited to leading some form of Rubiconian govt once the RLF are actually able to establish it in the absence of the corps. As cool as Rusty is, he's a pilot at heart.

I also suspect hers is the cello on "Someone Is Always Moving on the Surface - FreQuency edit" her playing is heard

This song is gorgeous. One of my new favorites. Frequency is still proving to be the best. I wanted AC to come back so badly. And it's finally here, and it's good. Really good. It's been a long time. I'm so glad that AC6 is introducing so much more people to this brilliant franchise. Even though this is an original composition. Something about the emotion in this piece is really speaking to me as a long time fan of AC. It feels nostalgic, like I've finally come home.

It's simultaneously a sad song - reflecting how you and Carla have both lost Chatty and Walter in the leadup to this big moment where you're on your way to turn Rubicon into cinders - and liberating, for this is the one and only moment in the game where all energy restrictions are removed and you can just fly freely in the sky forever. Also if you play this over footage of the mission it lasts juuuust long enough to end right when Rusty shows up. And hey, that's another thing the sadness of this song works for, since you're about to kill the closest thing to a friend you have on Rubicon.

The way it begins to end, feels very similar. Sudden explosion of violin and guitar. This is just Reminisce cranked up even more since the beginning is pretty calm with a bit of that AC6 synth.
Man, this is what the game should have had for the more "ambient" soundscape, especially somewhere towards the end during a mission like Coral Release or even the credits.

Fire, ash and thunder, smoke and death were all i was used to see after hearing those words in the past, orders followed as naturally as breathing, and carried away as easily as i flew on these wings lent to me by my handler. But this time i felt something i forgot existed, and kept feeling it even after flying again together with Ayre. I felt tears of joy in my face (This was just something i wrote inspired by this song, hope you guys liked it!)
but better, since there's no embarrassingly bad vocals and equally bad lyrics, the instruments harmonize with each other, and the name of the song is evocative instead of being a computer-generated string or a bad joke of some sort.
