Young people, please don't ever let the music of the Bee Gees die. They were so special and their music is timeless. Thanks for discovering them and keeping it going..
Sensing she was in her final moments after battling cancer, my sister asked her boyfriend to put this song on and she passed away listening to her favourite song. RIP Linda x
I know you have heard this before, but this was our music and I think many of us thought it goes away when our generation is gone. But it’s a joy to see folks your age discovering how good this music was. Thank you love watching you
No matter what era you listen to The Bee Gees they are extraordinary. To a lifelong Bee Gees fan who has loved them since the 60’s their music becomes part of my everyday life. Thank you so much for this very special treat of seven days of Bee Gees. You need too hear their gorgeous R&B song called LOVE YOU INSIDE OUT. Their vocals and harmonies are out of this world. ❤❤❤
When I was a teenager I had a life size poster of the Bee Gee's over my bed. Yes I did. Still to this day love them. Such a tragic story, only Barry remains...
Barry is fantastic, but in this clip you hear the magnificent showcase of Robins great voice, also. This is 60's (and early 70's) Bee Gees which you hear less falsetto voices and more ballads which I love. There are so many other BG songs from the 60's that are fire!
Yes. TheBee Gees were absolutely that good. Probably even better. They were so talented and consistently outstanding. All humble guys. Good to their fans. Their fans ( just as you ) all loved their harmony and immense talent. Had a friendly, calm and pleasant style to them.
Did you even recognize Maurice with hair?? It’s a good thing you chose this version, because the “Rare color” version has Barry in color blocked lace up black and white hip hugger flares!!! If you check it out, please make it a reaction. There’s 1974 concert footage of I CAN’T SEE NOBODY where a fan tried to get onstage. Robin looked over, but didn’t miss a note. If you had seen them live, you would have been that fan!!
I think you hit the Nail on the head when you said ... " Honey to the ears ". Another great one from you Mia ...Your reactions compliment these great performances, so as ever I will look forward to your next one!!
This song I think was the first song I heard from the Bee Gees when I was a kid. I have so many favourite songs by them but this one remains special. Thanks for sharing your reaction...loved it.
Barry is beautiful inside and outside, humble, protective, with a great sense of humour, a gentleman, family manand grat singer, songwriter and producer. Love him and the Bee Gees!
Wow, Miaaa! - I appreciate your listens and reactions! Please do "I started a Joke".. Robin wrote it and sang lead when he was 18 YRS old... and even many years later, they all killed this one...
Mia great reaction like always and just like you I've never really listened to the Bee Gees until I join you I have heard a couple but thats it their sound is very soothing and I'm really digging the vibes they put off through the music and once again great reaction and thank you
I enjoyed the reaction. I was lucky enough to have seen them live back in the day, and they were the only artists that I have ever seen live (and I've seen a LOT of concerts in my day) that I actually cried, like tears, when they hit the stage. I was 14 and the hormones were kicking in, but still, it was an amazing show and I'll never forget it.
Great week....loven those BEE GEES all over again. You are awesome....will be looking forward to who is next. EVA CASSIDY OVER THE RAINBOW LIVE....MIKE AND THE MECHANICS LIVING YEAR.....LOS LONELY BOYS.... HEAVEN
This is a lovely song. It sounds even more beautiful live around one microphone. They have done many live medleys over the years with shortened versions of different songs sung around one microphone and they usually included this and World. It would be great to see you do one of those.
You should check out their outdoor live performance of For Whom The Bell Tolls. With the NYC skyline and Statue Of Liberty in the background and of course amazing vocals!
This bheegi song was a big favorite of mine back in 1972 I was in the 11th grade and I played this song so much wasn't funny I can't remember but I think that the Temptations also had their song Papa Was a Rolling Stone which was also a big favor to mine I think both of those were in 7272 was a great year for music and especially for me because I listen to music virtually every moment I had the chance to listen to music it was so good in 72.
Girl, you are in love with the Bee Gees. I first heard them in the 60s and on the same day I heard Aretha Franklin, The Zombies (“Time of The Season”), Frank Zappa, the John Handy Quartet, The Miles Davis Quintet with Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley, and the Velvet Underground. Life with music never was the same.
The good thing about these genre weeks is you can do songs some of us might not have heard before. Like this one. Not one of their more famous ones, but a good one.
Mia, I'm sorry I missed your last couple of lives. They have been pretty early in the morning for me. Like 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning. But I always look forward to your reactions!😀
@DoIttMiaaaa Do Words, live from the spirit tour 1979. Barry is fantastic is that one! You’ll fall in love again with him. Plus, his wife and child was at that concert and they showed them on the screen while he was singing it to her.
Mia, you still have not checked out any of their 60s songs. To Love Somebody music video or Ive Gotta Get a Message To You, Holiday, oh so many good ones. Look for the music videos to see how really young they looked then! Another later one to check out is just gorgeous, music video: For Whom The Bell Tolls. Also You Win Again. Those are bookends -early and late.
@Mia- The Beatles are by far the greatest group of all time. Nobody can touch what they were able to accomplish. Love The Bee gees though and Run To Me is another great one from them. You should also try out To whom The Bell Tolls and You Win Again
The Beatles never made the R & B charts. They don’t have the soul that The Bee Gees had. The Bee Gees were able to succeed in just about any genre of music. And they wrote about about twice as many songs.
Barry is often compared to Jesus. Sorry Jesus. Barry for the win! Lucky Linda, Married to him happily since 1970. This was always one of my favourite songs. Agree about children hearing this music. Teaching love and respect for women especially. Another top reaction 😊
Young people, please don't ever let the music of the Bee Gees die. They were so special and their music is timeless. Thanks for discovering them and keeping it going..

God poured out a big bucket of talent on these guys. You just don't hear singing like this today.

I am so glad I'm not the only person still listening to the Bee Gees daily. 💜
The "We Love Barry " club is huge. Welcome. Actually, it's easy to love all three of them, and their fabulous music.
Barry’s so charming because Barry. He just is.
All the ladies were smitten with Barry Gibb back in the day! 😍😍😍
We still are.
I love the Bee Gees
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Can never go wrong with the 4 Brothers Gibb!!!
This was the year I was born!!!
When I was a teenager I had a life size poster of the Bee Gee's over my bed. Yes I did. Still to this day love them. Such a tragic story, only Barry remains...

Their harmonies were always amazing. This particular song still has a bit of a Beatles influence.
Their harmonies are best ever. Love your reaction. You would love Wedding Day (a pledge to their wives). ❤❤
And just imagine the youngest Gibb brother, Andy, was every bit as talented as Barry, Maurice, and Robin. It's beyond sad that only Barry remains 😢
Yes, in one sense. In the other sense, I’m very glad that Barry is still alive. ♥️
Super talented brothers...and let's not forget Andy. ❤❤❤
Yes. TheBee Gees were absolutely that good. Probably even better. They were so talented and consistently outstanding. All humble guys. Good to their fans. Their fans ( just as you ) all loved their harmony and immense talent. Had a friendly, calm and pleasant style to them.
Along with How Can You Mend A Broken Heart, my fave Bee Gees song.
All of the Bee Gees 60's song are absolutely beautiful. Keep going with those songs. There are so many to admire. They are a real treat!
Always will be loving the Brothers Gibb. You are 1000 percent correct, never more talented a group of 3 brothers than these wonderful bros here.
I am. Crazy about mo on piano as you are about Barry. Mo is my forever love.🎶🎶🎶❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This song reminds me of my late brother Roy.❤RIP.
I hope this song brings you some comfort when thinking of your brother! RIP Roy❤️
Their range, harmony and song writing skills are second to none. The Brothers Brilliant never disappoint. They simply ooze talent!

If you love this, try a older live video of Morning of my Life. Pretty please with sugar on top😅😊😂
They wrote and sang some truly beautiful songs.
Far and away my favorite Bee Gees song...too gorgeous...classic & a legendary song ❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful Bee Gees song! They always had positive messages in their songs which made them very special and poetic! Loved it ❤️🙏🏻
To see all 4 Gibb Brothers on stage together, You Should Be Dancing Live 1979 is must-see. Incredible live concert footage including Andy🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think you hit the Nail on the head when you said ... " Honey to the ears ". Another great one from you Mia ...Your reactions compliment these great performances, so as ever I will look forward to your next one!!
I can't wait for you to do Procol Harem-Whiter shade of pale The live version. It's amazing.
Love your reactions .....I'd like to request Words (1968) and Sweetheart (1969) ....thanks.....
This song I think was the first song I heard from the Bee Gees when I was a kid. I have so many favourite songs by them but this one remains special. Thanks for sharing your reaction...loved it.
The soundtrack of my teenage life. The best time of my life. 😊😊
Barry is beautiful inside and outside, humble, protective, with a great sense of humour, a gentleman, family manand grat singer, songwriter and producer. Love him and the Bee Gees!
I saw them live in 98 in Dublin. Phenomenal. They did this! And immortality with Celine Dion. ❤❤❤
Fabulous review & couldn't agree more! They are FAB!! And so are you! ❤
You gotta check out Spencer Gibbs video, same name run to me. Spencer is Robin Gibson. He sings that song, beautiful and dedicated to his father.
They were so humble and talented. Thanks
Wow, Miaaa! - I appreciate your listens and reactions! Please do "I started a Joke".. Robin wrote it and sang lead when he was 18 YRS old... and even many years later, they all killed this one...
Best version 1989 Melbourne concert. Another great song he wrote at 15 YRS old was "I am the world".
@@susieq9801 Thanks, Susie.. I totally have to find that one now!
@@GinMaeMia already did I Started a Joke from 1997 Vegas concert.🎼

I love your written comments❣️
Robins voice is so sad, sweet and haunting, And Barry! A voice of an Angel, The 3 are Heaven!
Barry was the heart throb that women swooned over. But he's in his mid seventies now and still married to his high school sweetheart.
Barry’s still handsome and charming in his 70s.
Very smooth! I've realized the Bee-Gees have alot in their bag! Great reaction Mia!❤
BEE GEES are simply always amazing!
Words from the bee gees is a great song.
Barry's 1989 performance of WORDS in Melbourne is excellent!🎶
I completely agree. There will never be another brother group like this for so many reasons. Their talent was endless.
Great reaction, sweet lady. ❤
I was always more captivated by their 60s music than their disco tunes. But they excelled on all levels, for decades ...
Once again mee gee yiu cant go wrong with the bee gees. Cant wait till def leppard rock of ages reaction to drop.

This is my favourite song of theirs.
Hello Mia!! Great first genre week! I can't wait for Elvis week!😀
I was 11 years old when this came out. It was my 2nd favorite Bee Gees song after How Can You Mend a Broken Heart. No one harmonized like they did!!
You should check out their outdoor live performance of For Whom The Bell Tolls. With the NYC skyline and Statue Of Liberty in the background and of course amazing vocals!

It was written for their daughters.
I would love if you reacted to one of their early songs "I started a joke" you'll love it.

The songs pre disco era from the BG's were warmer.
They pretty good huh
👍👌👌
Control yourself ..!! hormones ha
You know this is old because Maurice had hair
You need to do Alan Jackson "Remember When." It will melt you. Make sure you do the official video.
I think Barry has 5 children
Yes, with his wife Linda, married since 53 years, and 7 grandchildren!
Try listening to quarterflash the song HARDEN MY HEART please
Would love you to teact to Bob Marleys "natural mystic"
Personally, I would stampede over an army to run to Robin!!!!
Me, too, Q, me, too!
