Beautiful work, Scott. I've been up the Mt. Loop many times, but don't climb anymore - age has its limitations! That said, you got some really great shots of some great mountains. I, too, love the Cascades. Inspiring.
Thanks very much! It's a shimoda action camera pack. I have a few different packs from different brands (e.g., think tank, wandrd) but this one is pretty solid.
Amazing video, even for those of us who are just smart phone photographers. Was great to meet you at the WTA work party at Ptarmigan Ridge and will be subscribing to watch your future videos!
Enjoyed this video a lot, very well done and the Cascades are magnificent. I have to get out to the Pacific Northwest again. I'm from Long Island. Seems like to you it's an Eh image but I love the black bear crossing the creek.
Hello, and thank you! My camera has a variety of modes, Auto/Program, Shutter Priority, Aperture Priority, and Full Manual. I end up using Full Manual mostly. Hope that helps!
Thanks for watching, Thomas! This particular peak is a day mission, in terms of timing. And gear required was solid boots and the ten essentials. No ropes were needed for this peak in the existing conditions. It would be a different story in full-on winter.
My family enjoyed camping, hiking and exploring the Mountain Loop region in the 1980's and 90's. Thanks for the memories.
Love to hear that Lee! What a special area/memories
absolutely stunning work Scott! I've been eyeing the Cascades for years. This moves it to the top of the list!
16:59 Thank you for pointing out the drone restrictions in National Forests! A lot of people just ignore them!
Amen!

Beautiful video, Scott! Great to hear your thought process, like when you were picking out interesting elements in the foggy bog scene.
Means a lot, Yuriy! Thanks for watching and sharing that

Phenomenal work scott
Thank you my friend!
Love the video. Appreciate the effort into walking the trail twice to capture the effort with all the gear. What is the backpack you use for the hike?

Great vids. Are these mountain tops your on 1 day hikes up & back? Need climbing gear, rope set ups, etc? Thanks for any replies.
