Hi Ian, I really do enjoy your videos. Your explanations around location, your thinking about composition and camera settings are so well explained and very helpful, not to mention sharing your great shots. Thank you for spending your time and sharing your exceptional talent with us.
Always nice to enjoy your videos while starting the weekend after a long week of work. Nice images and explanation to the makeoff. That last place with those oaktrees is looking awesome.
What I love about your videos is the way it makes me think about the different ways to take a shot. The piece about the macro shooting was brilliant & such a help. Separation is an interesting topic, one I hadn't really thought much about. Thanks once again, Ian.
Thanks Ian, I’ve been appreciating your videos now for a long while. As a Fuji shooter, can I suggest that you add focal length in your metadata for your pics. It helps to appreciate why you use the focal lengths you have. Thanks Peter NZ
Hi Ian. Another excellent video. Really like your videos, and look forward to your next one. I used to follow a certain famous landscape photographer, but they have lost their focus, and more into the latest expensive gear, which most viewers can't afford or want. The best gear is that which is used, no matter if it is an old model. Photography is simple, just enjoying the outdoors and capturing moments of reality based on your perspective. Two people at the same location will take different photos based on their unique perspectives, and that's what makes it so beautiful. Your videos continue to inspire to get the camera out and enjoy the outdoors. Thanks. Keep up the great work!
Really loved the first focus stacked tree!! Just this wk i used a long fast telephoto lens to isolate leaves/seed heads and grasses ,it was quite an eye opener, loved it. Great vid too👍🏻👍🏻
What an informative video Ian. Didn't know you could use those extension rings with other lenses to get macro images. Going to see whats out there for Canon. Those last few shots were beautifull.
Considering you’re shooting alone, amazing how many shots and angles you have videographed yourself. Curious if you have multiple cameras set for this purpose.
Hello Ian, I love your images! Amazing! May I ask you which camera and which profile/preset you have used to film your work? The colors are beautiful. Thank you so much - Karl (Germany)
Hi Ian, great video that got me interested in trying macro. I looked up the Fuji chart for extension rings for my 16-80 zoom. It says a working distance of 0.3mm with the 11mm tube ! Surely not 😅
Hey Ian, I really like your videos 😊 also like the idea of the Telephoto lens with the extensiontube. I use mine with the Raynox dcr-250. Quite different, but really amazing results. 😉

Thank you Maestro ! I bought micro tube today and i think im not the only one 😊
Enjoy it 👍
The tunnel picture is great. For me personally, I would bring it down 1/2 to 1 stop for a more mysterious effect. All the other photos are 10/10.
What an informative video Ian.

Belle complimenti 👍.

A moderate depth of field - eg F8 - can be used to give a 3D look and feel to the photo.
very true 👍
Wow!!!

This video was filmed using the fuji xs10 and eterna film simulation 👍
Like your explanations, like Bear Grylls
Inspiring stuff again. Why not use a remote release? I do using XH1 with Tamron 150 - 500 when birding!
Thanks buddy, I do for coastal photography when timing is critical, the rest of the time I just use the timer 👍

wow that's close 😂
@ would you say it’s wrong ? I don’t know wether to buy some to try, or not waste my money
Why don't you use what3words to navigate to your favourite spots?
its a great app 👍
macro without flash? please....
I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
Bought one when it came out, and still satisfied, working flawlessly for my needs ie wildlife. Video possibilities is a waste of money for me………
