I think this is just elegant! I subscribed to your video the other day during the TH-cam event
put together by Justine Hovey. So, today I've come back to quickly look through some of your older posts & when I saw this one, I just had to stop & watch the video. I love the look of foil & a friend gave me her old laminator & I bought some foil & transfer gel, but haven't tried it
yet as I think I thought it would be difficult. Now, I'm thinking I might have been wrong. You have inspired me to give it a whirl. Thank you for sharing your creativity with others!

Thanks for checking out my other videos! I haven't used the transfer gel as of yet, but it would work very similar to the reactive paint and you probably don't have to work as quickly. Give it a whirl with something small to practice with and get the hang of how much you need for coverage. I love foil so much, so many people wonder how the heck I can do that when they receive their card.

I love this card Lisa! I just bought the same laminator and invested in some foil and deco foil transfer gel. I really like the black and kraft card stock with the gold. So pretty!

Thank you for your sweet comment, Carole. It is so fun to foil, you are going to love it and the transfer gel works perfectly too!!! Have fun playing.

What do you wash your stamp with. Soap or stamp cleaner?

Nothing fancy, just dish soap. 😊

I'm finding that the reactive ink is no longer available. Do you know of a good alternative? Thanks!

Hi! Yes I sure do. I have since switched to using Deco Foil Transfer Gel. I'll use the same method with a make up sponge or a palette knife and apply it directly to the stamp. A little goes a long way and I'll usually do 2 very thin layers. Just let it dry before adding the foil and away you go! Here is a link to the Transfer Gel linkdeli.com/go/2029588?_ld_ref=widget

@@dahlhousedesigns Thanks for your reply. ♥ We must have some telepathy going because I recently ordered the Deco Foil Transfer Gel and some other supplies. Your tip to use 2 thin layers makes lots of sense. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but your reply is recharging my "We got this!"

@@CountryRefuge We totally got this!!! It's so fun to see the foil revealed. Best thing ever!

Don't know why previous post had so many gaps between the words. Hmmm...
