My radio turns on but it’s not playing any sound. Even if I plug in my phone and connect to Apple play, it shows that it’s playing but no volume. I can turn it all the way and no static no thing. But hopefully if I switch out both fuses it’ll work. I check the fuses with how a blown fuse looks like and they both look similar to a blown one. So hopefully and thanks again for showing us this
Hey great videos, I have the same radio in my civic is there any way I can buy the oem touch screen with apple car play and install it in my car, also do you know if the harness is the same for plug and play
Our sports harness is missing some plugs. It's possible to make it work but I'm not sure if it's worth it. You could try the phoenix radio made for these cars. I think its android based though.
I’m having an issue where I am using the usb as an aux and it used to display the song but now it says “no song” and doesn’t let me change it with any of the buttons on the car. But the song still plays
@@johnsneverendinglistofrand1377 I just took a look at it. Mine is not with radio stations. That works fine. It’s the usb/aux. i plug into it and displays on the screen in print “no song” but the song still plays. The only way to change the song is on my phone because the steering wheel controls don’t work when “no song” is displayed. My Bluetooth works perfectly fine. It displays the song, let’s me change songs with the steering wheel. I don’t know. I was thinking I needed to replace the USB port
So I needed a new battery but before I got one my screen turned black. I checked all the fuses and none blown. I replaced the battery and the fuses are not blown but screen still doesn't turn on. The cigarette (right) works not the USB and or radio. Please help. What could it be? Does the screen have a fuse in the back?
Hi! I use the USB with an apple cord to play music. When I plug my iPhone in it charges my phone but when I go to play music it doesn’t project anything. The music is playing on my phone cause I can see the song playing on my phone, but just no audio. Any suggestions on what to do?
You might have to do a hard reset on the radio. Worse case. . .pull off the negative battery terminal for a good 1 minute then reconnect it. See if that helps. You'll get a bunch of crazy codes after pulling the battery. Simply drive the car and the codes will go away.
Hi. I have the same audio system. Can you tell me how to reboot the audio system. I tried holding down the power button but the radio turns on instead unless I'm doing something wrong. I even tried holding down the 1 and 6 and power button.
@@johnsneverendinglistofrand1377 I saw a video about that earlier. I'll give it a try. The problem is my iPhone equalizer for music keeps turning off every time the phone connects to the unit and turns back on when I exit the car. I'll try that thanks!
If your radio is still working then that means the one in the engine bay is still good. That leave you with the one in the driver side kick panel. You might want to check it before buying anything.
@@whateverdude3080 before you go ahead with that can you plug in a USB to see if the USB connection is not responding. If it's not responding then the fuse might be bad. If it does then you might just have to simply reset your radio. Reset==press and hold the power bottom on the radio about 10 secs.
My radio won't connect to Bluetooth. My phone is listed on the radio but won't connect. Then my phone says it couldn't connect to HandsFreeLink but it doesn't work with HandsFreeLink
Attempt a reboot. Might require for you to restart the radio. Pull the radio fuse for a good 10 min and reinstall. See if that helps. Hope it doesn't retain the memory.
I did that, the screen just shows who’s phone is connected and the Bluetooth logo on the left side of the screen, doesn’t show the artist name, album nor the song name.
@@ArcherSF may have to restart your radio. Press and home the power button for 10 sec. (FYI:This never worked for me. Didn't reset anything.) Or Remove the radio/audio fuse in the fuse box under the hood for a good minute. Then reinstall it. See if that helps.

Could be the apple car play. Try hard resetting your radio. Pull the radio fuse out for a minute. See if that helps.

Start by trying another USB, or reformatting since it's the easiest to do. Basic troubleshoot.

Try pressing the day/night button on your radio. See how that goes.

Not sure if that's possible. Maybe use the Bluetooth feature instead.

Any auto parts store. AutoZone, oriellys, advanced auto parts.
