it's underrated and overhated. visually looks unique and screams it's name. It has alot of integrity unlike the older M2 which just looked like any other 2 serie. even blows the M2 F87 out of the water in terms of performance.

I have the same car in 6spd manual and I absolutely love it. So far I’ve put 5% ceramic tint on the rear windows and 30% tint on the fronts. AST HAS kit with Macht Schnell 18mm spacers in the rear and 15mm spacers in the front. PSI mid pipe. SST valve controller. Rogue SSK with bushing upgrade. MMR weighted billet shifter. Next mod will be Apex VS 5RS rims in brushed silver. The stock rims look good but they’re a pain in the butt to clean and my fingers and hands start to hurt from trying to get in all the holes and crevices and shine them up. Also the black shows brake dust way too much and too fast after cleaning them.

@goodatheart - you are 100% correct sir. gives me sense of false security :) can't slow down fast enough. Seriously, it sort of alerts if you're doing about 80-90 you can slow down, but after that, good luck. and Ladar, unless you have defensive system, you're SOL. Detector will just tell you when you got tagged :)

I 100% enjoy the moonroof. The CF roof does save weight, some people think it's better looking. I personally like the open air feel from the moonroof, and opening up in Southern California. Also, you have to get the CF roof to get the M Driver's Package that takes the electronic speed governor off at 155mph up to 177, and, gives you the one day M school which is about $1,800 package from BMW. I decided to pass on M Driver's Package, where are you seriously going to do 160mph+, consistently? Lastly, I'm not a formula one driver and first to admit that the weight savings will not be something I'm going to notice. They're nice numbers and bragging rights, but don't think most people are going to make a difference in their driving with weight savings. Unless, you are gutting it down with row cages, CF. etc.. into a track machine.

@EliteHapkido thank you so much for your thoughts. I'm hoping to get an M2 in the next year, and I feel the same way about the sunroof. Everyone says to get the CF, more for aesthetics than weight, but I'm a big dude and I think I might feel claustrophobic. Plus, I'm no competion driver. I just really love the BMW driving experience. Thanks again.
