- We drive and review the new 2024 BMW M2 and were late to the party but still excited.
Is this new G87 BMW M2 any good? is the lardy 1700kg chassis a big problem for this car?
We push it to the max to see what we think.
Is it a Baby Supercar for half the price of one? Also with in this iteration with a manual box is this one of the best cars out there right now?

* A true Track Pack is actually circa £9k so I just wanted to correct myself everyone and also the 0-60 is 4.3 seconds for the manual and 4.1 for an Auto.
The looks are definitely growing on me 🔥

Nice work my friend. Shocked it’s sane weight as my huge 5 touring. Very cool motor though. Nice angles. Nice sounds. Massive fun factor with that power, as are most bmws to drive eh! I’d have the 8 speed auto for many reasons, but the manual for track all day long. I look forward to the bmw touring or estate car reviews if you’re asking😀..space is as important as performance for my road trips, and high mileage therefore comfort usage.

Just an FYI, when you start the car press and hold the set button on the steering wheel to turn off speed limit warning or you'll hear that annoying beep every time 😂
Haha I have filmed another video which will come in a few weeks mentioning it haha 😝 why did they do it as a default hey haha. Everytime I pulled over etc the first time I was filming it was doing my head in 🤣

I always like the smaller BMW M series cars but I'll definitely have to see one in real life to make my mind up on looks. Performance wise, a smaller rwd with good power and balance is always going to be a win.

The fact that this car is not at 100k starting is insane, a big W for buyer. BMW earn that customer first badge.
It’s certainly worth the £70k it is imho, supercar for the road with a warranty to that price is awesome 💪👍🫶
Great review, this car for the performance and technology it delivers is fantastic value (you can now pick a new one up for circa £60K) - Having had G82 M4 the M2 is just more Fun to drive 😃 only downside for me having also had G42 really miss my 360’ camera 😕I would of gladly paid extra to have this. Having had V10 R8 for 3 years if you don’t want to be spending 6 figures to get that addictive sublime V10 roar 🦁 which was the ultimate car ❤, you can’t go much wrong with M2 for the smiles every time you get behind the wheel at a fraction of the cost.

Had the V10 plus with the mag ride. I’m from Venus women do drive sports cars and indeed motorbikes 🏍️. 😉 U mention the type R had both versions back in day when u thought 200bhp was a lot 😂 but I preferred the version that had the gearstick in the center console you felt like u were in a rally car - great fun

Ah very cool 😎 indeed funny both mine were red and my M2 is red. After my Type R’s I replaced with an Evo 8 which ate tyres for breakfast - and yes you guessed it it was red 🚗
I had two Silvers (one was my race car) a Black one and also a Red. Haha you like Red, funny enough I always have too, had quite a few nice sporty cars in Red. EVO’s are epic but yeah like all quick AWD cars they do eat tyres, must have been fun and nice though ❤️
