I just came across this brand recently and as I dug deeper the history kept going further back in time. Favre Leuba is looking awesome. Patrik gave you 8 minutes and you crushed the interview.
Thanks for the video, I have family members that owned their watches in the past, so we were really looking out for them to come up with something more interesting & inspiring. I have to say that I feel that they are missing out once again! In another video at you tube one can see that the designer team are all how to say it gently, elderly people with A very certain acquired taste in watches. I am sure the watches are terrific & offer A high quality product. I was really rooting and hoping they would come up with better designs, more contemporary designs that would appeal to A wider clientele & even offer A better priced entry level collection to folks that would like to jump on to the FL locomotive (especially as they are aiming for mass production), but in the long run I think they have missed out. For the same money you can get so much more in terms of the watches themselves, A wider range of colors, designs, specs than what FL are offering here, especially for those that are not avid FL fans, I do hope to be proven wrong.
I've just bought a Sixties duomatic with a fantastic striped dial, the quality is noticable compared to contemporary models from Tissot & even the more basic Omegas.
farve leuba are a great historical brand they just need to push their portfolio more to the public here in the uk ..hardly heard of .the new relaunch will hopefully work
I’m expecting the Bivouac model in December 2025 followed by Bathy. I understand that FL offers several in-house movements, but there isn’t much information available on their website besides the FLC02 on new offerings. Are these models being re-launched with in-house movements too? If so, when will they receive chronometer certification?
This brand is one of not many, if any, that doesn't need to put automatic on the dial because every single watch produced it automatic of which is pretty cool.
There are many affordable legacy and micro brands that are able to create an asthetic date dial incorporation. Just cutting out a rectangle at the 3 position for a white date dial, while the face is colored, is quite dissappointing. Regardless of the price point which is not actually that competitive imho. I'm a sucker for tonneaus so even though I'm not a fan of the pushers on a watch that in other aspects looks very consistent, I might have a look at the chrono.
My favourite brand, Harpoon !!! I have 3no but the new watches all too small for me so thankfully for my wallet I wont be buying any till they produce so bigger watches.
I like the revival but i am wondering who is buying these watches for these prices given the high competition. You can get a tudor on the secondary market for that price. I mean, the designs are not that unique in any sense.

Thanks for showcasing this brand Wei!

Favre Leuba is a great brand, I have a Sandow Twin Power & Duomatic. Both excellent time pieces, Never let me down and I had them for years.

@@eurocraftccr Yes. But still I want the dial to say Automatic. It is somehow unnegotiable.

What an idiotism to put that date on the watch …. If it’s new brand … why don’t you put 1333
