Despite the Deep Blue Revival (specifically the dark grey and fauxtina version) having a bunch of elements on the dial in non-traditional locations, it kind of works and balances out. However, they should have made the date disk display the numbers upright instead of at an angle.. since the other printed elements on the diak are also upright. Otherwise, I kind of like it. But, It may be hard sell given the price range is within entry level luxury range with brands which are better known. And, for much less $$, there are many microbrands that do vintage inspired divers, too, where the lesser brand cache can be overlooked. For the watch enthusiast who enjoys a (revived) heritage brand with an original design, they may not mind buying one of these.
The crosshair lume is interesting and fun but will in practice, confuse the wearer at night. Price ? To high to a "bit of fun" or impulse purchase for most but cheap to some. But will the people who can afford it want it and those that cannot save up for it?
Maybe I am mistaken but I thought I read somewhere that FL was going to be revived as a very premium brand. Not so according to this model anyway. I'm a fan and would be interested in this price range.
Im a huge FL fan, & the news that Breguet is not the oldest watch company in the world (perez cope) brings them upto.... the oldest watch brand in the world. The new revival is too shiny & I could live without a butterfly clasp on a diver, great watch tho.
Really nice piece, I already have a Sky Chief from Favre-Leuba and the quality of materials and details is absolutely impressing for the price range.
I think it's a beautiful piece and I would have one, but a bit pricey for me. I do have several of their 60s models.
Superb vid Tim. Thanks
My pleasure ;-)
I like that, nice size. Good to see the brand coming back. Lots of old ones on ebay but I suspect many are Frankenwatches.

Id rather have an FV than a Seiko for £2gs which is the price on this model, not yet Tudor territory
Thanks Tim for another great review! ❤
Thanks for watching!
It's ok! I'm not a fan of the lume for a variety of reasons, but the bracelet looks interesting
A good looking watch, with it's own personality.
Love the channel. Thanks
Thank you very much for the kind comment.

great brand just hope they push their yt sites etc more as they're great watches just the sites still show nothing on it
FL has old but in house movements, why use La Joux-Perret?
The only one I like is the non-dive watch, though the pattern and colour on the dial aren't to my taste.

I wonder what Deep Blue Watches here in the USA thinks about that watch.
Not sure if the world needs yet another revival of a victim of the quartz era.
Agree 100%, it's enough now
It's OK. Fairly handome. Much like me. (Eh?) We live in a golden age of dive watches - but maybe they're reaching saturation point.
The Deep Blue revival is unfortunately fully polished unlike the renders you showed. And the price tag is a bit steep for a Swiss Made miyota 9015.
One of the most "unreadable" Dial/hand combo in low light.... Priced to fail, I´d say...
